I stayed there many times, but last few months they decided to gain money from anything, I discovered that when housekeeping cleans the room they do not leave water bottles in refrige as usual at any hotel.. I thought that they forgot, but next day same situation happened.. I called the reception and they said it is not for free, you have to pay. The reception guy was not nice, he said "this our rules" I told them that I will not come again, he said "OK". I will not go again..

The rooms are definitely basic, small balcony overlooking the sea (beautiful) Aircon thankfully worked T.V didn't work at all (we didn't need it but it seemed pointless having it. Shower/toilet/bidet. Towels/bathmat replaced daily Bedding not changed at all although it was folded daily to look as though it had been changed. Room constantly stank because of the toilets/bathroom. Wardobe space and a couple of small shelves and a small safe. Kettle but no cups/cutlery or anything else. Most staff i found quite mannerless and rude although there were a few that were helpful, attentive and jovial Breakfast was at best dismal. Fruits, bread, jam, soup (different each day), cereals, boiled eggs, chips and other bits that i didn't attempt as i couldn't really identify them and didnt want to waste. The reception and dining and indoor seating areas were misguiding as they were much nicer than 3* Internet included but constantly disconnected itself, very annoying having to keep logging back in to very slow wifi. The pool area was lovely with a VERY expensive bar/restaurant (next but adjoined) Lots of stray cats around the pool too Food was nice but like i say expensive, much cheaper to find local places to eat instead. The beach is directly below the pool area but access is by almost 200 (very steep) steps. Lots of sun loungers with its own little bar. You are forbidden from taking your own refreshments down to the beach. Water was lovely and shallow for a good way out with lots of little fishes. Lots of boat trips from the beach too, ranging in prices. The hotel is on the Airport flight path, so loud low flying planes very often but you get used to it. Overall i enjoyed my stay and all photos are my own.

I agree with all previous reviews. I stayed for 2 nights only. I recommend this hotel only if you are transiting, or want to be close to the airport for 1-2 nights only. Definitely Not for a longer vacation. Definitely not kids friendly. Pros - close to the airport 15 min by taxi at cost 15usd by yellow taxi Great view from the room, take higher floor Rooms are clean, AC works Nice pool, towels provided Simple rooms with balcony, fridge in the room Breakfast was good. Nice coffee, daily different hot options. It's not a huge buffet to choose from, but enough for breakfast Good location, 5 min walk from the waterfalls Lots of small supermarkets around, restaurants, Carrefour 10 min walk Coffee at the bar and for breakfast was good Cons - Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting Food at the pool bar expensive - 13 euros for a salad, but taste amazing Kettle in the room but no cups, no tea coffee No water provided in the room No bathroom amenities, only liquid soap. Bring your own shower gel Smell of sewage in the room Staff don't speak English at all, fair enough. But also they don't smile and don't greet you when passing by or when came for breakfast, not even saying good morning. Hotel beach super mini beach with lots of sunbeds - you walk down about 200 steps. It's strictly forbidden to bring your own food or drink to the beach. It's nowhere mentioned though. I fell asleep on the beach for almost 4h, didn't drink anything. Didn't bring nothing with me to eat. When leaving I was stopped and reminded that outside food is not allowed. Shown on Google Translate on mobile. So, just because I didn't buy anything from the beach bar I'm not allowed to enjoy the beach! She spoiled my day! I couldn't believe it. It's a hotel beach! Around midday lots of speed boats stopping at the beach, people jump out and swim. There is no privacy at all Expensive for this type of hotel

Nice beach. good food Breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff and most speak English and few speak Arabic and Russian. Clean and quite only from midnight till 8 am as soft Music playing all day and night by the pool area and heard everywhere. Perfect for singles and PARTY seeking people. Not recommended for conservative families with children.

WARNING!!! THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED HERE IN TURKEY. We have been living in Turkey for 2 months and move around every 2 weeks. We booked for 5 nights for our Anniversary and literally checked out in less than 10 hours canceling rest of our reservation. Firstly, the reception once we arrived was rude and not helpful at all. They didn't even greet us and we had to ask simple questions they should be telling guest once they check-in. The room was small, uncomfortable beds, the fridge was broken and worst of all there was NO WIFI in the room. Which reception did not tell us until we came down the next morning to ask. Only the lobby wifi which was horrible connection. As a digital nomad, I find that crazy not to tell guests when checking in a hotel. We ordered food to our room and it came cold and tasteless. There is no vegetarian options on the menu. THE WORST PART ABOUT THIS PLACE is it is right in the landing trajectory of the planes to the airport. I KID YOU NOT, there was a plane flying over the hotel to land every few minutes. LITERALLY! every few minutes, from check in to check out. Couldn't imagine if we stayed the full 5 days. Even worse, the general manager was way more rude and unprofessional than the receptionists were. We were at reception, waiting for him to come and talk to us. He prioritized Turkish guests who came after us at reception to complain. He was yelling and had an unprofessional argument with them for 25 minutes. He turned around and padded my girlfriend's shoulder for no reason. No apologies for leaving us for almost half an hour. We were upset that we did not have pleasant stay for our anniversary and demanded refund for rest of our stay. He refused to let us get a copy of the receipt (because we did not trust them to refund without proof, that's how bad they were that we felt we needed proof). He threatened to rip up the paper, (literally putting in his hand and acting like he was about to rip it up) only because we asked for a copy. Then we asked him to sign the paper so we had proof of him saying we will get a refund, and he again refused to sign. THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL HOTEL WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN. The picture of this plane is literally standing right next to the hotel. Wish I could post the video. EVERY FEW MINUTES THEY FLY THIS CLOSE. (This picture is not zoomed in)

Staying here whilst undergoing dental treatment. So far this is the best hotel I've stayed at in 3 visits to Antalya. My only criticism is the lack of a kettle in the bedroom, this is the first hotel I've ever stayed in which doesn't provide that basic item if you plan to stay here I would recommend you get a collapsible travel kettle from Amazon they're only about £12- to £13 and won't take up much room in a suitcase. Otherwise I can't fault this place, the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is good also the facilities, and the view from my room's balcony is breathtaking

For the price, I would say this is the best location in Antalya. Hotel over hangs the beach on a cliff. The beach is practically private. The view from the rooms is breath taking. All the rooms' balconies face the Mediterranean sea. Better yet, you can see the sunrise and sunset from the balconies. Breakfast is more than ample and up to par. Please don't compare it with Hilton or Crown Plaza. If you are traveling on a budget but would like to enjoy your stay, this is the place

Was a lovely hotel with lovely views. Staff were friendly too. Location wise there wasn't much at all in the area. Breakfast wasn't great, after 2 days there was no longer a juice on offer only caffinated coffee turkish tea (not sure of the flavour) or water. Fridge in room as well as a kettle but no cups etc. Gorgeous views. Adjoining restaurant had good food and great staff. Private beach accessible from the pool area 150-200 steps down with sun loungers but you had to buy drinks from the vendor there.

It's a very decent hotel at an amazing location. Rooms are a bit small but not over crowded. Menu is limited but whatever is available is very good. There are plenty of food shops around at a short walking distant. Overall it's an excellent 4 star hotel and I'd definitely come here again.

Location and the view from the balcony are very good. However the staff’s attitude is not the best. The smell of sewage is almost everywhere, especially in the room.

Nice place to visit, the hotel includes a nice swimming pool and an access to the sea with a small beach. The sea water the nice and clean and there is service of drinks and icecream. The breakfast is good includibg tge typical turkish breakfast with premium quality food and wide choice.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, nice view, and good location. The food is also nice The only complain is that they some nights host wedding parties and it gets loud even inside the room with window closed!

Comfortable stay, all rooms have, kettle, fridge, balcony. Pool bar, loungers swimming pool, private beach. Friendly staff. Taxis are very reasonable around £5 for half an hours drive. Convenience shop across the road. Short walk to restaurants. Lovely walks along the coast, including waterfalls.

Stunning cliff to location, with amazing views over the bed. Good value buffet breakfast and evening meal. Spent most of my time around the pool and bar area which was spotless. Great value for money, would definitely return in the future.

My first stay here since Covid stopped travel two years ago. Great to see improvements ongoing and service great at all times. The views over the sea are just perfect and the buffet breakfast and evening meals offer a great choice. This was my sixth stay and I shall return, you will not find anything better in this area in this price range

The hotel is perfect for what I want, but a good hotel above a cliff with all rooms facing the sea give excellent views of the Mediterranean. The rooms are a good size, with a large bathroom, walk in shower, full width mirror so plenty of room for more than one person getting ready. Reasonable wardrobe space and comfortable beds, there is a small refrigerator in each room. Large terrace and pool, there is a sectioned off children's pool. There is a bar with a selection of beers and food, if you don't fancy the buffet dinner in the restaurant, breakfast buffet has a wide selection of hot and cold items.

My stay at this hotel was a true nightmare. The room was extremely dirty, and to make matters worse, there was an absolute lack of hot water. The sheets were dirty and full of hair, stinky and disgusting so the towels. The reception staff is unprepared and indifferent. None of them spoke English, making it difficult to communicate. This was undoubtedly my worst experience in a hotel, and I can only strongly discourage this place to anyone looking for comfortable and clean accommodation.

Hi, this is a very nice and unique experience, starting from the reception, to room, food, hospitality, kindness and everything you need for an awesome holiday. There is a small thing which me and my boyfriend are not happy with. This think is the music, always off or low volume " barely hear it from the pool " When they play music, the songs I believe are 3-4 that play constantly. Imagine that the hotel next door are renovating and they use a massive drilling machine for about hole day that actually covers every sound. Other than that the hotel is nice and we recommend it. We are happy to be here and enjoy the 🌞

Stayed a week while getting my teeth done. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a fridge that was good, but it would be a good if they had a kettle and tea tray. The balcony overlooks the pool and small private beach. There are many uneven stairs to get to the beach,so not ideal if you have young children or mobility problems, otherwise it was nice. The pool area is good and has recently added a large, stylish outdoor dining area. It has various styles of tables and chairs. There's a large circular sofa area with gas fire pit in the middle. Great to sit in the evening and have a few drinks. The ground floor is smartly furnished with numerous sofas. I want to give a special shout out to two reception staff. I don't know the first guy's name - early 20s, glasses and thick wavy hair. He was so helpful, calling the dentist to check pick up times for me, on several occasions. Firstly, having to find the number and call off his own phone, never once looking like it was a bother. The second is Suleyman Kaplan. Again, he went over and above to assist. All reception staff were courteous, professional and helpful. The hotel isn't really in the tourist area, but it's not too far out. I'd highly recommend it if your going for dental/hair etc. I really enjoyed my stay and came home relaxed with new pearly whites! Thank you to all staff at Lara Hotel xx

Absolutely fantastic holiday there's not many locations that me and the family would ever think of going back to once we visited but you would see me returning, would never be far short of anything to eat and drink, entertainment some night a little off key, activities great in the daytime for kids, I can't believe how hard the team work at this hotel to ensure our holiday goes well. Outstanding

This hotel was very accommodating and professional. The ambiance of the hotel was excellent and the services were outstanding. The hotel staff did an amazing job; and the food was delicious. This was my second visit in Antalya, Turkey and this hotel was the best so far!

Rooms are very dated bit WOW that view makes up for it, all staff have been excellent, the location is a little bit out of the way but the taxis are certainly cheap so it's only a couple of pound to get to the bars and restaurants 😉. The pool area has extremely comfy loungers and the pool bar staff are brilliant 👏 I normally only stay in 5 star hotels but must admit this place was great value for money x

  • 4/5 Anthony G. 2 years ago on Google
So the hotel itself is a decent place. The pool is nice. The only issue is the beach is really not a beach and you have to hike down about 150 steps down a cliff. Otherwise the water is great and shallow.

  • 5/5 Joanne 1 year ago on Google
Recently stayed at this hotel while having dental treatment, stayed in a suite on the 5 th floor , situated on the top of the cliffs overlooking the beautiful sea , the access to the beach is via 150 steps but once on the beach it’s well worth the descent . The pool to the hotel is lovely and clean with a child’s area and a nice outside bar and restaurant, staff are super friendly and work extremely hard being one of the reasons for the 5 star ⭐️ review, areas of the hotel are dated , but if your looking for a reasonable hotel with clean comfortable beds and a quiet location lARA hotel has this . Would definitely return

Yeah my stay at Lara hotel was good, The staff were super helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Yeah the beers were a little bit expensive, The rooms and air con could do with a major overhaul, and the bar staff were such good fun One member stood out, UMIT. Well what can I say about Umit. The funniest barman I have met for years. He really bought life and energy to the pool/bar. You've really made our time memorable.

My first time in Antalya and the Lara delivered everything required for an excellent stay. Fabulous terrace and swimming pool with knockout views over the Mediterranean. Good food served by cheerful staff where nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay there again.

Can't say too much about the rooms and services as I wasn't inside the hotel. But I visited the beach and the experience was great. The water was clear and the sand at the bottom had a smooth texture. Nice

This hotel is in a beautiful setting over looking the ocean ..the place is spotlessly clean .the staff are all friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning . I stayed here while having dental treatment and loved the chilled atmosphere. There is a lovely private beach down some steps ...love this place well done to all staff 👏

+ view - super hight noice level due to airplanes - weddings are very common and last until 2330, completely interrupts sleep - air conditioning in room - management seemed to be rude

Place was clean, too many restrictions, breakfast wasn't good, even omelette and water bottle was paid. No welcoming reception.
