As far as airports go, Antalya sees its fair share of passengers through the peak season. That said, our overall experience was mixed. The staff at the airport (not airline), are a mixed bunch. The only smiles you'll get are in duty free, the rest of them are an acquired taste. That plus the "RIDICULOUSLY HIGH PRICES" at all the food outlets, its daylight robbery, this includes Popeyes, Burger King and every other food place or kiosk. Be prepared to be ripped off on that, and have patience. Also, there is literally minimal seats once you pass immigration, so if your flight is delayed, be ready to stand. Get to your gate early as certain airlines require further checks at the gate (mainly UK bound). Hope this helps.

One of the worst airports I've ever been to! Very dirty (toilets were absolutely disgusting), quite expensive, 3 security checks PLUS body search, staff were so rude it's unbelievable. I will not be flying to Turkey any time soon

This is a review of terminal 2, a new one that has been recently built. First thing, there's no direct transfer between the terminals in this airport. So you'd have to use a taxi service to get to a different terminal. Plus, you have to pass a security check again. This is a huge inconvenience if you are just transferring. This airport gets really busy, especially during summertime. You can easily spend 2 hours waiting in lines here, no matter what airline. 2. There are not enough sittings to accommodate such a crowd. People have to sit on the floor like the homeless. I'm talking about pre security areas. To see the crowds, just watch the video I posted here. 3. They need to add a train or a bus circling between the terminals. And definitely, they need to build more sittings and establish more security lines!

[Review about international terminal 2] The terminal may feel large at first, but in reality, it isn't that large. There are more negative sides than positive: ※ Long waiting time for our luggage on arrival. ※ Very crowded in general; difficult to find a vacant seat in the cafeterias. ※ Highly overpriced food and drinks in cafeterias and restaurants (water bottles for 2.50€, Coca-Cola bottles for 5€; Subway was selling 15 cm sandwiches for 8.50€, another one had sandwiches and chicken rolls for 10€). ※ The Duty Free shop is overpriced, too (Ritter Sport chocolate for 2.90€; Turkish sweets 3 times the price in local markets, if not even more). ※ Lack of free WiFi (2 hours' access for 4€, while the 30 min free access option is locked with a PIN code) ※ Long waiting time before the apron bus departed (on the return trip). The same bus had a lot of water dripping inside. The best parts and moments of the airport were: ※ an unusually short queue at check-in (we were more than lucky with this), ※ a model of the airport, found in the departure area between check-in and passport control, with various aircraft, ※ and whenever the Cobus 3000 apron buses were in motion. [Arrival on 13 Aug at 02:00–03:00 AM, departure on 19 Aug. Review posted on 24 August 2023]

A decent airport with all the amenities that you would expect from a midsize airport. The airport has security upon entrance before you even get to your checking desk so be prepared for this. You also go through additional security once you have got into the departure lounge.

I recommend AVOIDING AT ALL COSTS Antalya Airport during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was shocked how poorly the Qs are managed. Even though there are a few lines on the floor indicating the 1,5 meters, it is definitely not sufficient. Not even close, in order to assure the safety of all guests. There were hundreds of people waiting at the passport control. Because there are no organized lines, Qs, or signs about witch of the windows are operating or not, there was a total chaos. Everyone was staying on top of each other, a lot of people were not wearing their masks properly, and not respecting the line. Same situation in the area where you pickup the luggage and exit. I am not sure who gave Antalya Airport the Safe Tourism Certificate?!? It is definitely not safe in this airport. Could you please justify why you are not taking care of your guests safety while the COVID-19 cases are rising again in the world?!? I am attaching a few pictures that show how people are staying on top of each other. The worst was that the crowd was getting bigger and bigger.

Nice airport. Prices to local destinations are very reasonable. 3 lounges are located inside this airport. You have to go through security when you enter airport and again when you go to the gate. Very clean and efficient airport. This is very beautiful city in turkey. Highly recommended that you stay here 1 or 2 days for relaxation.

Our entry and exit were from the same airport, but different airlines. The airport was busy but everything went well on arrival. We landed at night and at first, we were excited to get out and see our hired car staff greeting and showing us the car but he was nowhere to be seen. The problem I have with travelling to Southeastern Europe and Asia is that hardly anyone speaks English and we can't even ask for guidance/ help. while waiting for our hired staff to show up, we watched girls getting ripped off by taxi fare. why charge in euros instead of lira...obviously to get the best rate. not nice! but returning flight is a whole different story. I'm not sure who to blame the airport staff or the airline. On our return flight, 30 minutes before boarding it started raining badly (proper heavy rain) so our flight was delayed so as did many other flights. The worst thing is that our flight went back with passengers from a previously delayed flight. While all this was happening no one was giving information. Everyone was looking for answers and with a handful of staff speaking in English finding out what was happening was a nightmare. we waited almost 9 hours at the airport before leaving for a hotel transfer. I could go on and write off that night I swear but in the end, we made it back to London 26 hours late. I understand flight delays are no one's fault it's the lack of communication that makes everything worse. I found duty-free expensive. Overall the lines move at a steady speed. I honestly didn't understand the concept of a security check at the gate again. They go through every single item that you are carrying. Many small improvements are needed unfornatually

Taxi-mafia in Antalya Airport. After I called taxi through BiTaxi application and it has arrived there were 10+ angry guys running to us and didn’t let us go because “you should go from here only with my taxi company”. Policeman was much more polite but in the end didn’t help to go with arrived taxi. Such a shame for a “European” and “Welcome tourists” country…

T1 to get there. Buy a card and use it. Baggage comes to different rooms depending on if you had a transfer flight or not. A nice airport, but there are not enough companies inside. I was trying to buy a sim card, but the only company existing there offered me a Sim for s month for 999 TL! They're monopolizing and telling that others offer their products for even a higher price. It does not look serious. Just like an open market. I went to the city and found another operator with 250 TL. Could be even less, but I didn't gave time. The money exchange was also not the best.

In arrivals last week everything was smooth and amazing ! In departure everything was smooth as well ,helpful staff , clean toilets great management all in all . Duty free is very expensive when compared to any shop in Antalya ! In the Gate we were searched again in a way that they took everything from the handbag and went through every single item ! So I had to pack again there and make my stuff fit and unfortunately they broke a photo frame I bought as a reminder because of their rush ! Here is an edit for my second trip , this time from terminal 1 since I have a stop in Ankara. Terminal 1 is amazing , very organised and everything is spot on . I noticed massage chairs and couldn’t resist! I had to try and it was great! 2 euros and you’ll get an amazing massage ! Must try. Duty free shops are much better than terminal 2. Last time I put 3 stars , now 4 .

Going through passport control was a pleasant experience, however once in the luggage arrival hall, it was complete caos. None of the carousels were working and no announcements were made as to why the delay. People just kept arriving. It took almost an hour to get our luggage. A bit unsafe at one point with too many people and no where to go!

I have only arrived at this airport and waiting for the baggage. It is neat, clean, it has pleasant smell and polite personnel. But they work so slowly and we have been waiting for our bags for more than twenty minutes. But despite of it I think you will get finest experience of visiting this city and particularly this airport. Thanks for reading my review. ☺️ P. S. See photos dow there 👇👇😉

I can’t describe it any better then DISASTER! Terrible place and super unhelpful personal. Turkish in general are pretty ignorant but airport staff are top ignorant. For example during COVID - you can’t use electronic tickets to the better airport. Just an example: you flight @ 2AM, you are living Atlanta (because it is far) at 12 (check out), collected by transfer/taxi and at 4-5PM you are in the airport. You have to wait outside of the airport for 6-7 hours to enter airport! How cool it this? Never mind when you ask staff to direct you to your carrier or somewhere else - people simply ignore. We don’t speak English, German, Russian ... It is disaster. Turkey worst place for travel or holidays. Very, very, very bad experience

Huge crowds of tourists and very loaded airport. But the personnel works perfectly. All lines are processed very quickly. Duty free stores both in departures and arrivals. Small but nice business lounge. Lots of food and coffee spots. Overall pretty good experience with the airport.

Great airport. Both the domestic and international terminals are nice and modern. Quick access through passport control and security. The airport is very clean and the interior design is fantastic. Lot of people to help and guide if needed. Very friendly people at check in! The food options are also great and the shopping options after security too. Great airport to fly in and out of you go to Antalya.

Nice & Nasty What I valued about this airport more than say the GZP, or IST Turkish airports is the entry into the airport is not as stressful for clearance, and the entry security check point staff act with respect and dignity to entering travellers. I valued the Islamic focused prayer rooms. I also appreciate the terminals being treated as quiet zones and not a lot of obnoxious PSA noises. I also appreciate the ATM center, although, I would advise they add the currency exchange counter near the ATM area for convenience, instead of just the one on the other end of the airport near the prayer rooms. I would add for health and safety purposes, the investment of the smoker's lounge. It currently is a dressed up terrace, where the cigarette/vape/cigar smoke blows into the departure gates and waiting areas below.... Rendering departing travelers to second hand smoke and the smell of old ashtray and farts. But the duty free smoke store has all the signs educating about the dangers of cigarette smoking (I've posted pics as proof). I did have a smeagol Gollum faced hag with a phony ponytail, and horrible dyed hair job, working for Securitas (Turkish contract version of TSA) try to use the language barrier as an excuse to insult me with her dry tongue, bare mouth (I know as I captured what she said in my audio trusty translator, and her tone/street cat-raggedy facial expressions also gave her away) as I was inquiring with her co-worker on entry access/protocol for travellers. I pity the imposter, and her misery loves company existence, but grace must have some use of said corroded, atrophied miscreant... Other than, the two concerning observations, I would travel through AYT again.

Used this airport 9 times, both for domestic and international flights. In general, I was satisfied. Intuitive. Easy to get to the airport by tram. But getting from the first terminal to the second is not convenient, I had to order a taxi for this. The choice of restaurants is small, but you can definitely have a bite to eat. Please add more storage boxes because once my flight was canceled and I had to wait one hour for a storage box to be free.

Very small airport for the amount of people coming to Antalya. Especially it is obvious now, during the COVID. It’s just impossible to avoid crowd. Staff repeat saying about the importance of mask and social distance while its 100% impossible to keep the distance. Plus it was our first time in Antalya and the first impression. Hopefully it didn’t prove the same for the rest of Antalya.

When I arrived at this airport, the place looked packed and we (my family) was expecting a huge wait straight away but we were delighted by most of the staff at this place who were able to guide us to the shorter queues. All together I think it only took us about an hour at max to get through to the duty free area. We did, however, come into one incident here with one of the staff members. We had just got our passports stamped and we were about to have our hand luggage checked but we still had quite a lot of drinks left that we were planning on drinking just before this check. However the staff member moved us through quickly and didn't let us stop, claiming that taking drinks on board is not an issue. This worried us slightly and offended us as he was acting in a very strict and insisting manner, not taking our end of the issue at all. I will also say that when getting through to the duty free area, it was packed and there was nowhere to actually sit down. We ended up having to sit on the floor, tucked away behind a couple of eateries.

The airport is nice, has any kind of facilities, freeshop (fairly expensive compared to rest if Turkey as Antalya itself), bussines lounge. There are 2 terminals, quite distanced from eachother. Transit even on the bigger one is generally not available (made by shuttle buses in the transit between arrivals and departures only for some passengers on same ticket from the same airline). Otherwise it can be pretty slow with migration and security, especially in the high season. Cheap rental cars are available 24h.

Standard international airport....not so big so there are long queues right from the main entrance into the airport where unfortunately....all luggages go through security checks before getting into the checking area / counters. Better to check in online before coming to the airport to avoid the long check-in queues. Also, ensure you fill all necessary online forms as there is no free WiFi in the airport....sadly. Another unpleasant thing is the attitude of the personnel at the information desk....they are so unfriendly and nonchalant about the flight of people....I was asked by the airline personnel to go ask them how to get Internet to connect & fill a required online form and the 2 people I spoke with behaved like I was a pest and didn't help as required....I figured it out and eventually paid €4 to buy Internet access 🙄. This same complaint was made by most people I met at the info desk... On the flip side, the duty free shops with lots of local & several nice stuff are next to the boarding gates so you can shop till you get on the plane 😉

The airport is good, it is bigger this year compared to last year and i saw that they are still renovating it. Easy to navigate within the airport. Friendly service if you have any questions, there is a Tax free cabin where you can get around 10% back from your shopping if you keep your receipts. The coffee there seems expensive for me between 7-8 euros plus gift plain croissant. It will be great if they have more international shops on all terminals as Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body works etc.

Not a nice airport to be fair, small. Everywhere they try to rip you off the make But you bug anything they throw in either chocolates or gum or anything at their hand and you pay for it. Internet is 30 minutes free, but absolutely bad, then you have to pay 4 euros for 2 hours whole internet keeps disconnecting the moment you lock your phone. Very few shops and toilets are tiny and not very clean

Medium sized airport in which I wasn't able to find a transit area. Maybe it was because it was from an international flight. After baggage claim out and then having to go through security again (only possible 3 hours before your flight). In the arrival hall there are food options and caffees and in the departure area at the gates there is duty free shopping and some places for food and drinks. In summer it can be quite warm since apparently there isn't an ac or open windows etc to cool down the room.

It's unfortunate that a beautiful city like Antalya lacks a comfortable and modern airport. My experience using the airport has been a nightmare. Terminal 1 is extremely small and overcrowded, with no available charging points or relaxing areas. The loud and poor-quality speakers only add to the discomfort. The shops inside the airport have exorbitant prices, with everything marked up by 500% compared to outside. I would not recommend visiting the city during the summer as it can be a truly horrible experience.

I am sorry but waiting for exactly 1 hour on check-in counter is not a nice story. While few more counters did not accept people even though I have kindly asked as we travel with kids - they were for priority and stayed empty till finally starting to accept when queue was empty. In the meantime a personnel was offering special quick check-in option for money. Not fair approach. Free wifi is only 30 min.

Don't come to the airport hungry; prices are high compared to the rest of Antalya. My flight was supposed to be at 12:20 pm to Trabzon, but no information was shown on the departure screens until after the flight. Then all of said was gates info at 13:25. No announcements, and when you ask a question, no one knows anything. I give the place two stars cause it was clean and comfortable, but it deserves a zero. Tranquil location, at least, I heard one public address notification, and it was only in Turkish.

Very nice terminal with a lot of space and helpful service. The toilets are clean and fresh which is a plus. Quite nice chose of food points and duty free shops. Most prices in Euro but it's not a problem to pay with TR or USD. All in all the infrastructure is ok. Waiting zone between gates is just enough in terms of space but in rush hours it may be quite tightly.

Customs and Passport controls are speedy and easy. international part like a bus station. in corona time it is terrible. Washrooms shortages... must b more toilets, washrooms and baby care rooms.. The food prices are more expensive than Paris or London. so be prepared :D good luck. happy flying

We went to collect my wifes mother from the airport. The gate security told us if we will walk around he would call the police and some idle threats. (Original) Antalya geliş terminali harika olurda, Antalya'dan iç hatlar çıkış terminali bu kadar mı berbat olur. Tuvaletler dökülüyor. Tuvalet kolu çıktı içerde kaldım.5-6 dk. Güvenlik diye sesleniyorum tık yok. Adam öldürseler kimse duymaz. Üstüne 3 saat rötar. Bravo THY. Ses düzeni üst katta berbat, duymak mümkün değil. Daha ne diyeyim ki bilemedim...
