Roman Harbour

Tourist attraction

👍👍 A master piece of antique architecture. The old walls surrounding the small but well maintained port. It is worthwhile to visit all around to see it from many angles. Beautiful day and night. People often mention beautiful, visit, boat, view,

Historical harbour at the seaside of old city. Roman like city, initially established it as part of best city in n the south of their new found province. Later it was developed and extensively used for trade and naval expeditions during Byzantine and ottomans eras. It’s now at the heart of seaside activities in city like boating, swimming, fishing and clubs. Multiple companies run boats for tourist. Very scenic and peaceful area with many waterfalls and hotels. A must visit place.

A beautiful view and must seen area in Antalya. If you are in Antalya you should come to this marina and enjoy an amazing view and also take a boat trip which is not that expensive.

The harbour is busy, with many tourist boats offering tours and restaurants and booths selling touristy stuff, fresh juice and icecreams. The view is stunning. There are a few buskers playing traditional Turkish music. The nearby park is pleasant, family oriented and good for a picknick

A beautiful harbour/marina. One can buy a ticket to go in a boat ride. There are restaurants along the marina, a very small mosque, men selling mussels, and interesting statues. Also a Tourism Police center is located here.

See the scenery from above. Free entry. Descend the stairs from the old town to the harbor very carefully! The stairs are really slippery on a dry, beautiful day, choose the side of the railing with whichever hand you can hold on to. Cheap cruises are sold below, price list as a picture. Cruises leave every half hour, even in this "winter time" in April. Super good ice cream is sold downstairs. If you want to continue towards the archeological museum, you save many kilometers by going up with the free elevator or exercising while looking at the great views from the highway.

Went for a boat ride here (was included in our tour), took 30 minutes and we waiting for the boat to fill up (off season). Staff on boat was a bit angry that we did not want to be photographed (…in order to buy an expensive picture ;))

what a beautiful place to visit if it wasn't for the night clubs and loud music until 3 am. The view is magnificent and the location is very much historical. its good to visit during the day but keep away from the hotels unless you are a heavy sleeper.
