The
brunch
is
a
nice
way
to
sample
lots
of
different
dishes,
and
everything
I
ate
was
fine
(with
the
“brioche
praliné”
being
a
clear
highlight)
but
service
was
just…
bad.
Upon
arrival
at
12:05ish,
I
was
greeted
and
then
promptly
ignored
while
staff
washed
dishes.
When
they
were
done
washing
the
dishes
they
sat
me
at
a
table
on
the
street
outside
(the
street
tables
had
good
shade
and
were
probably
breezier
than
the
patio).
My
first
“course”
(brioche,
fruit,
coffee
and
juice)
was
brought
out
very
quickly,
and
then
my
avocado
toast
was
brought
out
before
I’d
finished
the
fruit
salad.
After
that,
nobody
came
back
to
my
table
for
FORTY
MINUTES
(I
can
tell
from
the
timestamp
on
the
photos
I
took
when
my
food
arrived),
while
I
just
sat
there,
not
sure
what
to
do
about
the
dessert.
My
server
definitely
saw
I
was
finished
my
avocado
toast
but
didn’t
come
over
to
offer
or
explain
dessert
(or
clear
the
empty
plate).
The
table
next
to
me
also
waited
about
fifteen
minutes
to
be
acknowledged
by
anyone.
You’d
get
significantly
better
service
at
a
$2.99
breakfast
place
back
home
in
Canada,
which
is
disappointing
as
I
read
that
Lilian
Bonnefoi
works
(worked?)
at
Cap-Eden-Roc
and
should
be
capable
of
training
his
staff
in
basic
service.
Nobody
was
outright
rude,
but
they
were
just
disinterested
and
inattentive.
