I visited the hotel to take a tour and make sure it is suitable for the people who will stay in the hotel and check the tennis courts if they are suitable. It was rejected without any reasons. But this is an opportunity to explore a better place. I was also planning to book the hotel for my wedding, but due to their bad dealings, the plan was changed. Beautiful hotel with poor treatment. The employees also do not deserve to work in a two-star hotel. I hope the administration works to improve the services. Soon you won't have any clients.

This hotel has crazy dress codes. Men are required to wear pants, closed shoes shoes after 5pm. This restricts actress to ALL RESTAURANTS AND BARS. I am paying thousands per night, to not have access to the properties amenities. Maybe this place needs a social membership access. This place sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to like the place, I really did. The scenery was beautiful however out of a restaurant with 50+ tables on the patio (where about half were empty upon arrival), they decided to sit my table and the other two tables of people of color in the back near the service quarters. What decade are we in here? Why are POC still relegated to the back of the restaurant? Do better.

Unfortunately, a terrible reception at the gate. I suggest you hire nicer staff than the bald man greeting guests at the front gate. Turned away for wearing "sport shoes" (€200+ New Balance shoes) with a crisp white shirt, and formal (long) pants. We were there to have a drink at the bar, not as if we were wearing flip flops and swimming shorts. Shame, as I've never experienced the same at other 5* hotels across Europe and was looking forward to visiting. Unless you're showing up in a Bentley and wearing luxury brands (regardless of your net worth), your money is better spent elsewhere! *Edit: As you can see from their response, they don't care. Clearly the decrease in Russian clientele hasn't affected them.

Honestly I don’t even know what to say. This place is so unique that speak itself. Been here a couple days and I got mesmerized by the beauty of it. Loved to play tennis and swimming into that beautiful pool!

I am shook, and not it a good way. I was at the bar during sunset, waited for about 10-15 mins, no menu. After asking for a menu we spent another 10 mins trying to get a waiter’s attention to take our order. A person who apparently is more important walks in and get’s seated immediately and is served the complimentary tray of olives, when she asked to change her table, they then gave us HER tray. There was an obvious difference in the way she was treated and we were treated which is probably because she is Europan and we are Arab. Atleast now i know after reading the comments not to take things as personal because Eden Roc has a reputation of being racist after scrolling through the reviews, shame on you.

    I would love to say good things about this hotel but they wouldn't let us in to even have a drink or look around to see whether we wanted to stay at some point. I have been to some amazing place such as Badrutts Palace, the Eden au lac, la reserve, hotel de Paris, the Hermitage and I could go on......but I've never been treated so rudely as we were at your hotel. We didn't pull up in a Rolls but we were in a nice uber as we are traveling and we were all dressed appropriately for a very hot summers day in the SOF. Anyway....we got turned away so fast and the man at the front was extremely rude to us. Needless to say....I would never return and I do not think we missed much as there are countless gorgeous spots to see and spend money at all throughout Europe! Can't wait to book our next stay at a fabulous place and fortunately it won't be the Hotel du cap-eden -roc. Just because I didn't show up in a Bentley or a Rolls doesn't mean I dont have lots of money to spend. Your loss!!;

Grounds and pool area, bars etc great. But please redecorate the rooms, floral curtains awful furniture! Go to Hotel De Paris Monaco for inspiration!

This was something else one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever laid eyes on let alone had the pleasure of staying at. Beautiful staff and stunning location. To be honest, still pinching ourselves that we spent 6 nights here.

Every item had a bit something extra. My tomato salad was all fresh tomatoes from the garden. Stunning views of the azur blue waters. Very pricey.

We were staying in Hotel Martinez in Cannes. We came to see the opportunities of the Hotel (like beach bar, restaurant etc.) to stay next year, and they didn’t let us inside. The security at the entrance was so rude. And also the receptionist on the phone told me that their hotel is full and we can’t see it. We didn’t understand why we can not see the hotels opportunities when the hotel is full. I think their customer service is so bad. 1/10

The Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc is one of the finest hotels in the world. The grounds, rooms and amenities are world class. In our experience, the difference between 5 star hotels comes down to the people. From the moment the driver picked us up at the airport, to the bellman collecting our luggage, the concierge team helping us with our plans, front desk staff, to the wonderful housekeepers, waiters, pool attendants, every single employee exceeded our expectations. We are very hopeful we will be able to visit every summer. We just got home, and are already looking forward to next summer.

I had honestly one of the worst experiences at a spa in my life at the Dior Spa here. I have an injury on my tail bone due to an assault a few years ago. I haven’t felt any pain anymore for a little over a year now, so usually I don’t bring it up to reception because I honestly forget about it now and I prefer that. Sometimes though, random things can trigger some minor pain when on the exact spot of the injury. While getting one of their med spa treatments here, the Waves 21, I noticed when the technician would put the machine on that spot it was hurting. So I asked her to just not put it on there but that she could go anywhere else. I was concerned she didn’t understand me because I could tell her English wasn’t the best. And she asked me if I wanted her to stop and I said she could keep going but just not here and pointed to it. she nodded and reassured me that me understood. But then went and put the machine right back on that exact spot again and I had immediately stop the treatment again. I asked her if we should bring someone in the room who spoke English she repeatedly rejected that idea and once again said that now she gets what I was telling her. Then when I laid back down, she put the machine in that spot again and this time when it was turned on it caused me so much pain I had to jump up and remove myself from the situation. I was shaking and in tears. I knew that she could originally tell I was in distress and continuously reassured me when it’s obvious all she really wanted to do was ignore me. A spa should be able to communicate enough to make their clients feel safe and comfortable enough that they are relaxed when they leave a place. Not the opposite. Now I still have pain in a place I haven’t felt in over a year, because a technician chose to ignore me. Instead of just going to get someone to properly understand/listen to my concern. It was honestly the most disheartening thing. This had been a place I was really looking forward to. And now that’s my first experience ever with the Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc, which makes me sad because it had been on my list to visit for a while.

My husband and I were lucky enough to spend our honeymoon at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. We’re already thinking about coming back next summer — it was truly beyond what we had imagined and more. Based on reading the reviews, a few things stood out to me: 1. Service: I have received not-so-great service at other 5-star hotels around the world as a woman of color, but not here. I NEVER felt that I didn’t belong here and all staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable as soon as my husband and I entered the hotel grounds. At times, we felt that everyone was TOO NICE! 2. On-site amenities: My husband and I like to stay active and the tennis court and gym are unbeatable. We were able to reserve a spot each day with no issue. 3. Decor: It seems like a lot of people have issues with how “outdated” the room decor was and urged the hotel to change the decor but I disagree. The current interior decor is traditional and aligns well with what the hotel’s aesthetic is like both inside and out. If you prefer to stay in modern hotel rooms, this is NOT the place for you and you should book a modern hotel instead of staying at a hotel with a long and rich history. 4. Attention to detail: Building off the first point, we were showered with really special touches throughout our stay at Hotel du Cap. Maybe it was because we were honeymooning or because our travel agent had an existing relationship with the hotel but we did receive thoughtful gifts and exceptional service throughout our time. I was left speechless each night! 5. Accessibility: As a guest, I prefer to have better access to all the amenities that the hotel has to offer. I read a few reviews regarding how hotel guests were let in before non-guests and non-guests were upset but I think the management should continue to keep the policy the same. Why are guests required to pay 2000 euros a night if we’re not going to be let in before non-guests to bars and restaurants AT THE HOTEL? It totally doesn’t make sense. We were truly blown away by everything and can’t wait to come back with our family, friends, and (one day) kids in the future. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to be on our honeymoon and we’re already dreaming of returning!

A fantastic hotel on the French Riviera. Nested in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula, with it direct access to the beach, a must-go destination!

Dinner with eleven friends, on a June evening to celebrate my wife's birthday- I am speechless as to how superb it all was. The team at the Eden Roc (especially Eleanore) were so very helpful in arranging a small reception before a superb meal. The setting is sublimely beautiful and the staff effortlessly warm and efficient. We have enjoyed similar celebrations in many superb places over the years, but the Eden Roc outshines them all.

There is a reason why this is one of the best hotels in the Cote d'azur. Beautifully maintained and amazing service. Brunch here on the weekends is a real treat! Would highly recommend.

We were here already four times, the Hotel vibe is amazing as well as the staff and food BUT the hotel could really use some complimentary tap water at the pool/beach (like most other hotels).

Good exterior appearance and stylish lobby area. But once you exit the elevator the environment changes into a very low grade motel. Neither the hotel nor the staff behavior does not deserve 3 star at all.

This is our 4th time at the Eden Roc and every time it only gets better! We brought some close friends for their first stay and we had a magnificent visit. The level of friendly service was the best it’s ever been from checkin to checkout. Enjoyed the wonderful buffet breakfast overlooking the Med to begin each day. The hotel and grounds were beyond beautiful and there is no other pool in the world to match the Eden Roc! We cant wait to return for another visit!

An excellent experience at the Eden Roc. It’s an absolute paradise. There’s not one thing that could be criticised about this resort. The staff were all wonderfully helpful, and friendly, and the setting is absolutely serene. One of the best experiences I’ve had! Thank you :)

Good morning, I will add to your comment that if you had access to blood tests and tests as described in the commentary below, I certainly did not provide it. It is against ethics if you had access to my research without my consent. In addition, I would like to point out that the tests were not carried out for bacteria - it was a susceptible morphology and blood test. This answer is concerns the opinion below!!!

View is just stunning…. The place, history …garden The buffet is fresh and deserts great The stuff is so unprofessional it’s crazy for a place like that, they forgot that one or 2 clients speak French and can ear and understand what they actually say…they were vulgar and really the way they speak between them about the table were shocking Shame that there is no one who seem being the chef de salle and educate the waiters who will be better in a fast food that in a 5 stars hotel

I love this place. Location: Great restaurant with view on the sea. The restaurant is busy and doesn’t feel romantic although the location is. Great for family and friends meet up. Food: Lovely food: burrata, truffle. quick service. I will be back.

Nice hotel and the staff is very nice. It's definitely much farther than 10 minute walk from the beach, only other problem is I wish they had a discount at the bar/restaurant for guests. Charging $25(!!!) for a gin and tonic when I'm already paying $1500 a night to stay here feels pretty ridiculous.
