This hostel has a great vibe which I noticed as soon as I walked through the door. The hostle staff are friendly and helped me with so many things. I also found a giant spider under my bed after I dropped my phone which was pretty badass.

Great little hostel, and I loved they are dog friendly! Nicest staff makes it feel like home, and a well equipped kitchen is so appreciated. The private room with two big beds was cozy and just enough space for us! Would definitely come back and stay again.

Great hostel is Antigua and is a good value for your money. The staff is super lovely and helpful. The place has a homey feel to it. So nice to have access to a well equipped kitchen. They do a great job at keeping the place clean. 24 hour assistance was helpful for early departure times.

Love it! The best hostel I stayed in guatemala! I had big luck that I got the double bed in the 5 dorm, so it is an extra plus! The staff is very friendly and always helpful! The garden is very beautiful and I loved to spend nearly the whole day there. Very nice atmosphere and chill people. The kitchen is good, could be a bit more equipped and it would be good to offer free salt & oil, it’s very helpful for travellers & many other hostels do it. Hot shower worked! There is free coffee from 7-9am, but I don’t understand why they don’t leave it outside when it’s not completely empty…same here, other hostels offer free coffee the whole day. I hope to come back one day!

Nice, simple, calm place great to chill - lovely garden and decent kitchen. Pod dorms available. Signs up saying that you will be charged extra for use of the shower but nobody enforced this the night I was there

We had booked a private room. Unfortunately, it wasn't that clean (hair on the bed sheets, someone else's eyelash brush on the floor...). The showers were also somehow always dirty. As soon as two people shower at the same time, the water only flows weakly. In addition, the rooms are cold (there are large gaps in the door) and very, very clairaudient. You can hear EVERYTHING. The only positive thing is the beautiful garden.

Quiet hostal...10 min. from downtown. Beautiful garden & friendly staff. There's no party hostal...so you will sleep through the night.

nice hostel, friendly staff, however when i stayed there a few nights ago there was a creepy old local man who would hang out at the door, i think he may have worked there. at first he would just make comments like “moy bien” when i arrived back from my day at the pool wearing a bikini top (which was off-putting but manageable), but then when i came back to the hostel at maybe 1am after a night out, he was there in the dark and wrapped his arms around me and squeezed tight, to which i said “no. no.” and got away from him. this ordeal made me feel really grossed out and i immediately ran off to bed and thankfully never saw him again please, hostal antigüeño, for the safety of young girls, upgrade your security system and/or fire your creepy staff members

Clean room, friendly owners. Great location just outside the most busy area of town. Only issue was the shower that was having some issues producing hot water. View from the balcony was nice. But due to new buildings the view of the lake was partially blocked. After asking we got drinking water from the owner living below. The breakfast was decent. Some wafels, fruit and roasted granola with coffee. We did a tour to the Mayan Nose mountain and had to leave at 4am. The bus couldn't reach so the tourguide picked us up on a motorcycle. (3 people on a bike was a hell of a way to wake up)

Nice hostel. Shame about the rude chef - they say it’s shared kitchen but he kicked us out on several occasions, despite it being within the hours we were allowed there

We enjoyed our stay! Had a private room and we’re surprisingly upgraded. Everything was very clean and pleasant. Beautiful communal area. The staff were as nice as could be!

Really comfortable beds, nice venue with an open courtyard. Plenty of places to be social. The staff were awesome, a lot of services available.

Got crazy backpain from the worn out u-shaped mattress. Booked 4 nights but ended up leaving after the first night. Only got 50% of money back. They offered to change the bed but other mattresses looked the same to me. Old and just worn out. Getting Sleep is the most important therefore 2 stars is maximum i can give. If they invest in new mattress for sure this hostel would be great value for money!

I had a private room. Double bed, super clean. Shower pressure as good, water was mostly hot. Nice and quiet, great social areas though.

This place was great! The rooms were nice enough, great food variety, and lots of fun stuff nearby. The common area was really nice and I met a lot of great people. Good memories!

We stayed in a private room and we were very happy with it! Bed was comfy, and the shower was hot with good pressure. The bathroom window went into the kitchen which was a little awkward and our door was directly in front of a sitting area. There's not a lot around the hostel for restaurants or shopping, but still a decent location. Overall we really enjoyed it!

Perfect stop for overlanders to enjoy Antigua. You can park in front of the hostel (space for 4 vehicles) or in the next street (Callejon del Rubio, but ask the police if you need to pay a parking ticket) and use their facilities for 30q/pp. Internet, Hot Showers, Patio. They offer a delicious (and cheap!!) breakfast 25q and lunch 30q, the staff is super friendly and you will meet many fellow travelers and overlanders. Finally, they are pet friendly, there is a nice small park right before the Hostel, and overall the location is perfect to explore Antigua by foot.

We had a great time at this hostel. Room was very clean, and despite being a 12-person dorm felt very private. They are pod-style beds with a privacy curtain by your feet. The kitchen is well equipped. Free drinking water is a big plus. The community in the hostel was great too - met some great people. Only downside is it is a little out of the way compared to others (i.e. Tropicana) however probably worth saving your pennies here.

Great hostel! The staff are super helpful and friendly, and go out of their way to make your experience better. The courtyard is beautiful, and the option to get affordable meals on the premises (or cook your own) is so helpful. Good, chill vibes all around. Only downside is that the bathrooms are a bit far from some of the rooms, but it's not a big deal.

We were in the hostel for a month during the Corona period. we got a very fair price and they let us use the kitchen. excellent service, very clean, well-kept garden with dining and seating areas. The couple who run the place helped us with everything. the Location is a bit far from the center and the market. Thank you we enjoyed very much, highly recommended.

Very nice vibe, super friendly owner, kitchen is practical and well-equipped, location is good too. Only con: the dorm we were in was not the one usually advertised, there were no plugs next to the bed - but it was more roomy i guess.

This is an amazing Hostel! I cannot speak highly enough about space. It is clean, stylish and welcoming. Christian and Iris are the sweetest people and super helpful and kind. The amenities are great and the food is tasty while reasonably priced. Good location and safe area. Stay here and no where else if you visit Antigua! You won’t regret it!

I had the most amazing time at this hostel. The staff are WONDERFUL! Jose and Gin are both so lovely and helpful, jose is also absolutely hilarious! The beds are nice and have a curtain, the rooms are cool as well so not sweltering hot at night. It’s a relatively social hostel but nice and quiet so no loud parties or anything. I had a great time and definitely will be coming back. Thank you all!
