The hotel is run to cut costs at the expense hospitality. 8pm all lights are out and it's pitch black. Water fountain always off. Also it's pretty noisy if you're trying to get some sleep. Rooms are very dated. You never really feel comfortable to just sit down and relax and meet other people

Looks way nicer on the photos. Good things were the garden and the friendly staff, but the room was worn down and it was extremely loud (like the walls are paper thin and the yard makes the sound stronger). We slept pretty bad here.

Beautiful views from the rooftop terrace, garden is full of plants and flowers..Staff is very friendly and helpful! As a suggestion, being earplugs for early morning travelers. The only downside was the echo chamber..You can literally hear every squeek, snore and fart within the hotel..other than that, the kitchen was very convenient, location is excellent and the staff at the desk are top notch! Thank you Bartolome and staff!!

Staff was really nice. The hotel has a really good location close to the main plaza. The room I got was small, only good for two people.

This is a good example of getting great bang for your buck. My room was large and comfortable. There are seating/socializing areas everywhere and the rooftop terrace offers great views with lots of tables, chairs and even umbrellas. Then you have free coffee being made all day and a location that's only 1 block from the square. There is also a very convenient full kitchen for guest use and i cooked my breakfasts daily. All the staff were very nice with endless smiles so my 6 nights were excellent.

Very cosy and with beautiful interior full of plants. Free coffee all day. Comfortable stay, but you can hear everything from the patio and other rooms so it can be bothering for some people.

The hotel is old and rundown. The photos don't represent the current condition. Rooms are very small and cramped. Of the various hotels I stayed at in Antigua, this was the worst. The beds were horribly uncomfortable and pushed up to the dirty wall. The TV was very old and not working. All rooms have a very small window that faces the corridor, so there's no privacy if you want ventilation. Lots of noise from the rooms next door and the outdoor terrace courtyard. This hotel charges 6% for paying by credit card after they've converted rate to Quetzales, from dollars to begin with. It's a sleazy practice to make a few bucks.

Very convenient location--easy walk to excellent restaurants and all the main attractions in Antigua. The bathroom wasn't particularly nice, but it is really just a step up from hostels. I recommend Rainbow Café for breakfast just a short walk away!

It's an ok little hotel. The rooms are very cramped and the window is on the walkway between the rooms, so it gets quite noisy from people walking past. The room and bathroom are clean, but the hot water in the shower is tricky (keep the pressure low if you want it warm.) The location is convenient for the centre and walking, but also noisy from the constant traffic. The staff are friendly and helpful, plus in duty all night in case you come in late. They helped arrange onward travel, si that was very convenient.

Quaint, clean hotel with a rooftop view of the volcano. Easy walking to all the shops.....

Great place with a nice rooftop and great service. Rooms are a bit old and you can easily hear your neighbours. Shower was cold.

I stayed alone at this hotel exactly one week before this post. Yesterday night I back to this beautiful city with my family and while walking around my 2 years old daughter wanted so much go to toilet, so since I was near came to this hotel and asked for the toilet for my little girl….. surprisedly the two staff ignored me and another one came to tell me that the toilets are inside the rooms so wont be possible. Was a lie because I been there and there is a toilet near the reception. So clearly they just don’t want to share.

Dont book tours through them, terrible recommendations- especially our volcano hike. Very shady tour group, it didn't really have a name- could be ASH tours, but they told everyone in our group a different name. The hotel is decent with a nice terrace. Rooms could be better, but they had hot water so it passed our standards. Location was great.

Really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Clean rooms and staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace is best in town with unhindered views of Fuego. Great location and only a block from the plaza. And good value for money.

It was a great time there. The staff was friendly and they always had a smile. The only problem was the water in the shower because the water pressure was rare. Anyway, excellent location near to everything, clean, and safe for staying.

I didn't stay at this hotel but did purchase shuttle tickets from them. I was originally heading to the atitrans office which apparently was closed so I stopped by here. A very nice lady who speaks fluent English helped me out with reasonable prices for shuttles. I came back 3 days later and she even remembered my name for the ticket. That is an amazing memory and even better customer service.

Pros - relatively cheap - center of the city - nice staff Cons - Small rooms - Minimal amenities - Everything looks like its about to break down

Not bad but too noisy and not good enough for its price. But the stuff was extra caring and nice, so it really makes your stay much better

We stayed here whilst in Antigua. The photos online looked much better than hotel actual was. The roof terrace was a let down and it was noisy at night. This is a good cheap place to stay for a night.

Ideally situated. Regular price to high but you should be able to get a discount. Staff is really nice and room was comfy.
