We enjoyed our visit here. Learned all about Jade and how they make jewelry out ot it. The owner was there to talk to us and show us various things that they maje. A lot of items are for sale, pricey of course but one of a kind in most cases. We spent an hour here and enjoyed it.

This place is very informative. I enjoyed all of the jade and its varieties. Geology is my major so I thoroughly enjoyed the walk through. I can’t remember the lady’s name that gave us to much history but she has been in Antigua since the 70’s. You can see her in my photos. They have cutting machines there and sometimes you can see them at work. If you have money, buy some awesome jade pieces.

Had the opportunity to visit this interesting art museum, educational center, jewelry store during a city tour. Wish I would’ve taken more photos. They do a very good job in the education portion of teaching you about Jade, the importance of it, types, where it came from. You could also see a workshop where they’re actually cutting raw jade, and make it into jewelry. Finally they have a very nice jewelry store that offers all sorts of items in the substance, at all price levels. Definitely make it a stop, because this stone is a great importance to the region and the indigenous peoples.

Jade Maya offers a free tour of their production, the importance of jade in Mayan history, some Mayan artifacts, and more info about the stones. The tours can be done in both english and Spanish and will be offered when you arrive. At the end, you can look around at their store and you can look up your nahual (Mayan kind of zodiac sign).

Really cool place to learn about Jade and other precious stones! We received a free tour which was about 10 minutes and packed with information. The jewelry for sale was breathtaking and decently affordable for luxury pieces.

A great museum! With free museums it’s hard to go wrong, but this one had some great info and it was cool to see the factory as well.

It was amazing. We got to learn more about Jade and the different types of jade, how it's environment can effect the color and hardness. You could see the work shop where people were working on jade. They had a nice display of jade objects, and showed you how to tell the difference between real jade and substitutes. Nice experience and the jewelry was lovely.

Interesting and beautiful. You can check and find your ‘mawal’ to learn what it means. And surprisingly it was all free!

We stopped by and someone gave us a quick tour of the factory and museum. We shopped around the boutique, which is quite big. Nice informative stop.

Locally sourced and handmade Jade jewelry. Pricier than other local outlets, but the quality is definitely higher. Prices listed in US dollars, they take credit card with no fee, and have a working atm. Very friendly and helpful staff

Am excellent stop to make while in Antigua. The staff speaks English and are super helpful and knowledgeable. It's really the only place I've found so far where I know I'm 100% getting authentic jade. Everything is priced in usd and is at market value so don't think you're gonna walk away with a steal or haggle a bargain.

Interesting maya museum and also store where you can buy not only treated jade in earrings, necklaces and sculptures but also natural stones of you want to gift a singular piece of Guatemala to a foreigner. Good prices for legitimate and nice quality jade.

We bought a very expensive Jade piece there. We just took it to our jeweler and he said it was worth about 1/4 what we paid. buyer beware.
