    BE CAREFUL! I wouldn't recommend this hospital! Except for one or two doctors in Pediatrics, the rest of the department is NOT trustworthy! Head of pediatrics Dr. Kurxxxxa She wasn't able to diagnose the cleft palate my daughter had (After two days, struggling to feed her, Nurse found out!), they didn't guide us to the cleft team, no any advice, nothing! (We found all the help/info in Gent by ourselves). One pediatrician Dr. Posxxt Who suppose to be specialized in nutrition, couldn't even diagnose Reflux my baby had, despite my warnings numerous time. Another one Dr.Caldxxx Who made a check after birth, couldn't find out my daughter had extreme clotting, her color was purple. She said, " no problem, She is fine, just the result of fast birth." Two days after that statement, my baby was taken to Intensive care in another hospital because there is no ICU in the pediatrics! Then Dr.Jonxx responded me like i am an idiot, when i said that " i understand the points, but i want to take my daughter home" his response was "do you understand!?". If i was still living there, i was going to sue the hospital staff. Just terrible! i wouldn't recommend to anyone! Except for the pediatrician Dr. DeMulxxx. He is the best among to them. Fast diagnose, careful and comprehensive. Because of his cautious check, my daughter got saved. Otherwise, she was going to have fatal results. Except him, i wouldn't recommend this department and the hospital's extreme overcharge if you give birth there. Otherwise, take your baby to Sint-Augustinus: Full of good doctors with ICU in case.

    Almost lost a life while there. Courteous and polite, however Inexperienced and poorly informed professionals. They kept a neurologically impaired person under inadequate supervision and failed to consider relevant information regarding care and nutrition during the process of the emergency consultation. Would only go back if I need a band-aid to be applied correctly and nothing more, out of fear of not making it back home!

    VERY RUDE EMERGENCY WORKER! (Blonde hair, moroccan girl i think) I came in explaining in detail what's wrong, she was very antagonizing and rude. Telling me I shouldn't just do what I want and follow the doctors orders making huge eyes at me as she was visibly mad for no reason. When I was waiting in the ER there was a girl waiting there aswell. This worker comes in and literally says "Fatima or something like that? You're next" who in their right mind talks like this let alone working in a hospital? I felt WORSE leaving the ER just because of the way this person treated people. Had the same situation with her when I brought my mom in when she felt very unwell few years ago. DON'T EMPLOY PEOPLE IN A HOSPITAL IF THEY ARE NOT QUALIFIED. You come in ER already stressed out and in pain and she acts like she's doing you a huge favor or something. If you don't like your job go work anywhere else but in a place where EMPATHY AND HELP are expected.

Toen we afscheid gingen nemen stond TALLOZE dokters/verplegers/studentjes te gieren en lachen dat we het hoorden tot in de kamer waar we afscheid namen. Dit ziekenhuis raad ik af voor IEDEREEN!

    Went there at 11 to the emergency room. Waited until 13 without anyone talking to me, at 13 a nurse came and tell all of us that they would only see us after 18 because of to much patients. (they seem very lazy) Ended up leaving without any kind of medical attention. Guess this is how people die when they go to emergencies in here.

    Iโ€™m American so the care we received here for our daughters delivery was unreal. I cannot put into words the amount of gratitude I have, especially for the midwives. The doctors we came across were professional, calm and capable. This hospital made a huge life event a truly beautiful experience. Thanks so much.

    Good hospital but there is a old woman with black hair in spoed she is very rude and speak very badly to me first i dont understand dutch I asked her to speak English but she said you are in antwerpen you should learn dutch and alot of bad behaviorโ€ฆ i was feeling so bad .how she can dare to said everything bad to me i feel disappointed how a educated person treated like this to me because Belgium is not my land she treats very badlyโ€ฆ

    Unbelievably bureaucratic and unfriendly attitudes at the reception desks. I had to check in twice at the machines before the woman at the counter acknowledged that I had actually checked in (and then I was called twice). Because she didn't see me on her screen, therefore I was clearly wrong. Perhaps the patients could be treated with more patience and respect to acknowledge when there may be an issue with the staff computers having delay or they are misreading the data received, rather than insisting the patients did something wrong and are incapable of using the registration machines?

    The emergency in this hospital is a joke. My mother was sick and we waited for 3 hours and 30 minutes but no doctor came to see us. If this is emergency department then I am speechless. Yet they wanted us to pay the bill because their nurse wrote down the patient name and asked to wait. How shameless.

    Had my corona test done here. It was quick and easy. Went to the reception, was asked to insert my identity card to the card reader and was asked to wait. After a few minutes was called into a room and proceeded with the test. The whole procees took around 30 minutes.

I was forced to pay a 50eur consultation fee because my Swiss insurance cards wast accepted. I have been sitting in the room now that the nurse put me in for over 3 hours! This is totally unacceptable. Where in a first world country are people treated like this in a hospital? Maybe your doctors don't think this is an emergency but because of the cyber attack on the city of Antwerp I still have not been able to register as a resident which means no house doctor.     I was recently in the ER treated by Dr. Bart Schrauwen. He was very kind and carefully listened to me and addressed all my issues. The nurse who attended to me (not sure what her name is - blonde hair with glasses) was also very friendly. The waiting time wasnโ€™t too long either. The nurse who took my temperature was a bit rude but overall a very positive experience!

    While traveling through the Netherlands and Belgium, I had to go to the Sint Vincentius Hospital in Antwerp because of acute pneumonia. It was 5 days of inpatient treatment. I received the best possible treatment there. The doctors and nurses were very competent, reliable and friendly. Communication is not a problem. Some doctors and staff speak German or English. The hospital is structurally and technically modernly equipped. I would also like to mention the good food. I can highly recommend the house, even from Germany.
