    Spoed is pathetic. One needs to be dead to get attention here. The other departments in the hospital are really good. But i do not suggest it for emergency. The staff is rude. The wait time is well over 3 hours even if it is empty.

    Unpleasant experience at the Emergency/Spoed department. Unprofessional and rude. One of the doctors (in white) even yelled at me !!! Then another doctor (in green) came to continue the check up. Avoid this hospital! This happened to around midnight of 16/06/2022 -> 17/06/2022.

"if she can walk down the hall she can go home too" one of the nurses told my daughter on the phone because she wanted to know when to pick me up and asked if I was was able to go back home now as i live alone .... .... doctor still had blood drawn in the morning to see if i had any additional infection because i was feeling worse than the day before .. ... never got a blood test, never even seen a doctor. Didn't get aerosol from 1pm on Friday because everyone apparently knew I was going home except myself !!!! I was no longer given meal choice papers to fill in, so apparently I got fired indeed. At 2:30 pm still no doctor seen, I just kicked it off without seeing a doctor and drove straight to the pharmacist to have at least medication for the weekend .... Now it may still be PRESSED in the department, a patient who my dismissal may at least be brought to my attention. But you should not say your thoughts because then you are personna non grata ..... That nurse went completely wrong in terms of deontology my thought. Unheard of !!!!!! (Original) vorige week negatieve ervaring op afdeling pneumologie... "als ze door de gang kan wandelen kan ze naar huis gaan ook" zei een van de verpleegkundigen tegen mijn dochter aan de telefoon omdat ze wou weten wanneer ze me moest ophalen en vroeg of ik wel instaat was om nu reeds terug naar huis te gaan gezien ik alleen woon.... .... dokter had 's morgens nog bloed getrokken om te zien of ik geen bijkomende infectie had omdat ik me slechter voelde dan de dag tevoren.....nooit bloeduitslag gekregen, dokter zelfs niet meer gezien. Kreeg vrijdag geen aerosol meer vanaf 13u want iedereen wist blijkbaar dat ik naar huis ging, behalve ikzelf !!!! Ik kreeg geen maaltijdkeuzepapier meer om in te vullen, dus blijkbaar werd ik inderdaad ontslagen. Om 14u30 nog altijd geen dokter gezien, Ben het daar dan maar afgetrapt zonder dokter te zien en ben recht naar apotheker gereden om tenminste medicatie voor 't weekend te hebben.... Nu mag het nog DRUK zijn op de afdeling, een patiënt die ontslagen wordt mag daar tenminste zelf van op de hoogte gebracht worden mijn gedacht. Maar uw gedacht mag je niet zeggen want dan ben je personna non grata..... Die verpleegster ging ferme de mist in qua deontologie mijn gedacht. Ongehoord !!!!!!

    Wonderful hospital, with very clear and obvious instructions. I was very nervous because I don’t speak Dutch, but had nothing to worry about: the staff attended to me in perfect English and am very grateful for that. The emergency doctor was extremely impolite person, he wasn’t allowing me leave because he said they prepared a room for me while I was planning to go get help somewhere else, he wasn’t worried about my health or pain as I though, his biggest worries that he prepared a room as if i came to budget hotel. The radiologist or the echo doctor was super arrogant and I couldn’t ask her anything regarding the echo pictures. (Young graduate lady) The cafeteria guys are the best, these guys are selective, they sent my guest away to buy a product from the mini market inside the hospital while the mini market doesn’t sell the product he wanted to buy. This is a private hospital, they treat everyone from a business perspective. Super commercial service and me as so many “Patients”. In the end of the day, we can’t blame and criticize all of people working there, it’s not their fault, this is the hospital policy and they are responsible for their employees behaviors.
