Great view of the city!!! It takes a while to get to the top, the elevator, than the cable car, than some stairs, and than the lift, so plan your time. Try and get to the top at sunset. It amazing!! The night view is also spectacular, so don't miss it. Just make sure the weather is clear. The place is very well organized, and even though there are many people here, everything is running smoothly.

Good place to have a look at Seoul's skyline. The entry ticket is reasonably cheap but there isn't too much to do at the observation deck. Unfortunately, the windows were quite dirty and some views/photos weren't as good as they should have. Definitely come at sunset to enjoy both day and night views of the city. The park around the tower is also super nice and worth exploring. There are good opportunities to take photos of the skyline in the park itself if you want to save some money.

N Seoul Tower is an absolute must-visit when in Seoul! Situated atop Namsan Mountain, this iconic landmark offers unparalleled panoramic views of the cityscape that are truly breathtaking, especially at sunset. The journey to the tower itself is an experience, whether you choose to hike up the scenic trails or take the cable car for a more leisurely ascent. Once at the top, you're greeted with a variety of attractions, including observation decks, restaurants, and even a digital observatory where you can leave messages and drawings for fellow visitors. The observation decks provide 360-degree views of Seoul, allowing you to marvel at the sprawling urban landscape and the Han River snaking through the city. The view becomes even more enchanting as the city lights up after dusk, making it an ideal spot for a romantic evening or simply soaking in the city's vibrant energy. The tower is also a popular spot for couples, with its "Locks of Love" area where you can attach padlocks symbolizing your everlasting love—a charming tradition that adds to the romantic ambiance of the place. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or visiting with friends and family, N Seoul Tower offers an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of Seoul's beauty. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture those picture-perfect moments! Overall, N Seoul Tower is a must-see attraction that embodies the spirit and charm of Seoul. Highly recommended for anyone looking to gain a new perspective on this dynamic city.

I visited N Seoul Tower using my Visit Seoul pass, as it was one of the listed attractions. The tower was easily reached by bus or by cable car, and you can walk up too if you’ve got the energy. Once we’d got our tickets we headed up in the lift to the top of the tower. The view is fantastic from the top, and although we visited on a grey day in January it’s still great to see Seoul all around you. There are various facilities at the top of the tower, and I particularly enjoyed a coffee at A Twosome Place - with a fantastic view. Overall it was a great visit and although the weather wasn’t the best, the experience was still great.

Its a good place to see the birds view of old city. Either you can take rope car ticket for to and fro journey to the top or there is are very long steps to take. There are few fast foods chains at the top and its a good place to chill. We were there on a weekday and it wasn't crowded, its said to be very crowded on weekends. Love lock is another main attraction of this place and there are a lot around the tower. Take tower ticket to see glimpse of new city as well.

Great place for a walk. There was an hour-long queue for the cable car on New Year’s Day, so this is a popular place with locals and tourists alike. We walked up the 1.2km path, which was a good work out but worth the view. We tried out the calisthenics park and had a great burger at the top. Lots of food eateries up there!

It just does not get better than this tower in the springtime. The weather is nice, and the trees are lovely. If you don't want to take a bus to the plaza, there are many little trails to walk on. Lots of food options, picture spots, and a magnificent 360 view of the city. If you have not come here yet, please do so. The only downside I can think of is that it will be crowded.

Nice attraction. Low price as well so took the cable car up and walked down. Would not suggest walking up the stairs. Went up around 1830 so i could see both day and night sites. Really cloudy today so the range is limited. it gets busy and crowded up there at dark. Got better photos after i went back down to the entrance. there was a lot of glare on the windows up top once the sun set. Did not eat at the French restaurant up at the top.

This is such an amazing place, especially in Spring time (end of March) There is a free bus going up to the top of the mountain, the view along the way is maleficent that words cannot describe. You can choose to walk down instead of bus to enjoy the fresh air here. All you need is a good camera to capture those wonderful scenes There is no need to go to the top of the tower because it is not free and the view is just the same.

Very beautiful! I advise you to visit at 4pm / 5pm and stay to watch the sunset, because the view is wonderful and by watching the sunset there you can see the tower day and night. The ticket price is fair for the service it offers, ₩ 11,000. Don't forget to charge your phone and camera, as you will definitely want to take lots of pictures there! ^^ For those who have a lot of energy in their legs I recommend walking up the hill, the climb is long but there are many observatories on the way with a privileged view of the city, I recommend going on a not so hot day. And take a padlock to hang on the wall. It is not necessary to climb the tower to have a legal experience.

Great way to kill a lazy afternoon in Seoul. The hill top base where most people spend their time in itself has a good vibe of it no matter the time of the day. If you are a tourist with a family of young kids. I recommend you take the cable car up and down. The cable car station is about a 10 minute walk up the streets from Myeongdong subway station which is the nearest subway station. There is no doubt that this is the best place to get a view of the whole south. For those who want to make it to the top of the tower you get a whole 360 degree view of Seoul while at the base you need to get around all the observation decks to capture the views on either side of the hill top. We went on a rainy day and yet enjoyed the views and ride up and down. We spent some time at cafes to wait for the dusk and night fall so we caught up with both the day and night views. The places with the locks are Instagram worthy and so is the observation deck at the back of the tower. Weekdays should be probably less crowded than weekends. You could probably come here after finishing a half day DMZ tour if time is tight.

Laxmi Vilas Palace, Baroda (Gujarat). It was build by Maharaja Sayyajirao Gaekwad III. Laxmi Vilas Palace, Baroda is one of the biggest palaces in the world. The palace is four times larger than the Buckingham Palace, England. It has a rich interior design & architecture. Entry fee:- (palace+museum) 350 rupees for Indians 750 rupees for foreigners and 80 rupees for the children between (5-12). And fot the children below 5 years it is free.

Excellent experience. Views of the city at night are beautiful. Perfect place to pick up souvenirs. You can hang out here for a bit as they have places to sit up in the tower, and also some small bites, and desserts. I would highly recommend the cable car up to the tower, unless you really like conquering long hikes with loads of stairs.

The Seoul Tower measures approximately 235 m tall. Construction started in 1969 and made its debut in 1980. The tower has become an iconic landmark and is now considered the definition of Seoul. It is the second highest point and is used as a communications tower and observatory. Being perched on top of Namsan Mountain, and in addition to its height, it provides a spectacular 360 degree views of the cityscape. Seoul Tower is surrounded by attractions, restaurants, and other landmarks. The tower’s exterior lighting change color and has a restaurant with a rotating platform. Besides taking in the panoramic views, the next practice for visitors is Placing named love padlocks on the tower fence to showcase eternal love. This location has also been depicted in Korean movies, and TV shows. I highly recommend taking in the commanding views during the day and at night. The night scene takes Seoul’s glimmering lights and bustling city background noise to another level.

Awesome to see Seoul from the tower! We didn't pay to go up to the top, but still got quite the view from the free areas. This is really accessible with the shuttle buses, so do visit here! Be sure to catch the cultural performance in the afternoon--cool stuff with swords and all.

Awesome palace to visit in Vadodara. The palace is constructed by Gaikwad family. Indo-Saracenic architecture. The museum and art gallery is awesome. The audio guide is available here which is little bit worst part as everyone has not that much time to listen all audio clips. Otherwise it is best place to see old things in good way.

It is reputed to have been the largest private dwelling built till date and four times the size of Buckingham Palace. At the time of construction, it boasted the most modern amenities such as elevators and the interior is reminiscent of a large European country house.[1] It remains the residence of the royal family, who continue to be held in high esteem by the residents of Baroda. The Palace compound is of over 500 acres and houses a number of buildings, particularly the LVP Banquets & Conventions, Moti Bagh Palace and the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum building. In the 1930s Maharaja Pratapsinh created a golf course for use by his European guests. In the 1990s, Pratapsinh's grandson Samarjitsinh, a former Ranji trophy cricket player, renovated the course and opened it to the public.

Really clean, well-maintained landmark with great views of Northern,, Western,, ans Southern Seoul. "Locks of Love" literally, not the hair type, where each couple in love professes their love on a lock, key chain or anything really and locks it to a rail. They take this serious enough to even make Christmas trees of it. Unlike a permanent tattoo, if you break up, you take your key and remove the lock, if you want. There's a few place to eat at the base of the tower, there's interesting benches that look like the buckled from your weight and a good spot for couple poctures. You can take a bus to the top, walk up the paved road or there are trails you can hike up. I took the trails, only 1km up, and on the way down had a nice jog through many of them that circle the hill. Lots of fun, great family, couple, or solo outing. Enjoy 😃!

It was amazing😁😁!! The walk was long and I was able to see nearly the whole of Seoul from up there. I just have to say, if you don't want to walk for nearly 1000meters up a mountain, you should take a cable car situated a little bit further away from the entrance of the mountain to Namsan Tower. But, in all, if you want to see a breath-taking scenery, definitely walk up the mountain🤣 (not for the faint hearted!!🚫) HAPPY 추석!!!🥳

Always love going up to the top of the tower and seeing a 360 view of the city! If you walk up there are lots of stairs, but the bus or cable car is also available. Day and night have a different feel so if you could try to go a both times.

I'll update this post after a second visit where I actually climb the tower. However this place gives you a breathtaking bird's eye view of Seoul and I've attached a photo evidence. It's also an amazing place for walks. Of course lovebirds put "love padlocks" of their love around the tower's railing here.

Definitely an experience worth doing. I hiked from the base of the mountain, all the way up to the tower then went up to the observation decks. Very beautiful scenery, Seoul is a beautiful city and this is definitely one way to see it from a high viewpoint Try to make it up there just before sunset. It's breathtaking.

I think Namsan T was one of the best things I did recently. I had such an amazing time. Went just by the time before sunset and when night set on, it was even more beautiful. Seeing both daytime and night time here was like a dream. The air is so romantic, even when there's no one around you, or few people. I really loved what I felt that day, so if you like beautiful sights, romantic air, nice music and having a relaxing time, come to the tower on a weekday and take the cable car. I didn't went all the way to the top this time because I felt that up there in the mountain it was enough happiness for me. There are lots of memorabilia, cute items, locks for the couples promising their love to each other. In my opinion even if it's cold, it adds up to the dreamy atmosphere. When I see my pictures I can't believe I had such a beautiful time there. It's one of the most beautiful views of the city. When I see this tower when I walk around Seoul I get happy, too.

Another attraction right in the centre of Seoul that doesn't cost you anything is the Seoul Tower, also known as Namsan Tower, an iconic landmark and a popular tourist attraction. This tower is on private land therefore accessing is made possible by the provided bus to reach the tower. Don't worry about the fare, it costs you nothing and inexpensive. The tower reaches a height of over 480 meters above sea level. I came to understand that this is an observatory tower built by the local government. The surrounding area is open to public to enjoy and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Seoul city. Here you have a glimpse of the panoramic view of Seoul city. After alighting from the bus you have to walk a short distance to reach the attractions. Upon reaching the tower, you'll be captivated by its striking architecture and the surrounding lush greenery of Namsan Park. The tower's observatory deck is the highlight of the visit, offering a 360-degree view of the sprawling cityscape, majestic mountains, and the Han River winding through Seoul. There are numerous attractions and activities to enjoy. From virtual reality experiences and interactive exhibitions to trendy restaurants and souvenir shops, there's something for everyone. Love birds looking for a special memory can make a vow by placing locks of Love as symbols of their commitment towards love. Whether you're into nature, architectural designs, or simply here to soak up the mesmerizing panoramic view, Seoul Tower promises an unforgettable experience. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this feeling since you're in Seoul of the uncanny beauty with an extravagant landmark.

Loved the day heading up N Seoul Tower. Took the cable car up the mountain, short walk and the elevator to the top! Food and snacks available on site, prices are reasonable and the view over Seoul on a nice day is amazing. Went with two small kids otherwise would have done the walk up instead of the cable car, quite an easy walk. Lucky to see the Korean Cultural office perform at 3pm. Only tip is to make sure the air quality is good so you get the best view.

We ended up spending more time than expected here enjoying the scenery and view. You take the elevator up the top for the best view. If you wanted to spend more time enjoying the view, note that there’s another lower floor where you can sit to enjoy the coffee while taking in the view too.

  • 5/5 Tyler L. 4 years ago on Google
The view was spectacular. You’ll have a 360 degree view of Seoul from above. The walk up hill towards the tower was nice and comfortable. There are many artists providing caricature painting or drawing services at the top of the hill. Best time to visit is early morning or just right before sunset. Golden hour will provide mild light which is best for photography & the city will look a lot better at those times.

Everland is South Korea's largest theme park. Located at the Everland Resort in Yongin, a city in Gyeonggi-do, it receives 5,85 million visitors annually and was ranked nineteenth in the world for amusement park attendance in 2018.This park was formerly called "Jayeon Nongwon" which roughly translates to "natural farm." Its former English name was "Farmland." Everland is divided into five zones: Global Fair, Zoo-Topia, European Adventure, Magic Land and American Adventure. (Global Fair) Global Fair is primarily a place for food, souvenirs and pictures as visitors make their way into and out of the park. There are many shops, and restaurants as well as services such as stroller rental and lockers. (Zootopia ) Zootopia is an animal-themed portion. There is a petting zoo, pony rides, and animal shows. There is a small zoo with birds, polar bears, sea lions, penguins, bears, lions, tigers, primates and more . A safari bus ride is available which shows animals such as ligers and bears roaming in a contained habitat. The visitors stay in the bus. Amazon Express is a raft ride, where most visitors get splashed. The petting zoo provides animals such as goats and sheep to pet. Kosik, one of Zoo-Topia's elephants, made headlines when he demonstrated an ability to imitate Korean words. (European Adventure) European Adventure has many restaurants in European styles. The architecture imitates European styles. There is a flower garden encircled by a train, games and arcades. A favorite attraction here is the Mystery Mansion where visitors can shoot at the ghosts. In March 2008, a ride named "T Express" was added. It is the first roller-coaster in Korea to be constructed out of wood. (Magic Land ) Magic land is an elaborate array of buildings and rides. There is a portion called Aesop's Village where the characters and themes are primarily drawn from the fables of Aesop. The Ferris wheel provided views of the whole park until it closed in 2011 to allow for more rides. There is a log flume, a futuristic flying ride, and a robot ride. With the rides, there are restaurants and stands.[6] (American Adventure) Themes from American history are presented in this portion of the park. There is one western themed ride located in this section called ‘Rodeo’. In Rock Ville the theme is the 1950s and its music. The Double Rock Spin is a main attraction as live bands play near the Rolling X-Train, a roller coaster in the park.

It is located on a hill and you can go there either by bus or by cable car. Many people go there by walking to get some exercise. It used to be the tallest tower in Seoul at one point. There is a teddy bear museum inside the tower complex. It is a beautiful place for sight-seeing. Many korean dramas have been shot here, which makes it a popular place among Korean drama lovers.

Excellent view of the city. I went up the tower 30min before sunset which was ideal for the view of the city in the day and night. Managed to get some great pictures without too much inference from other city tourists. I did hike up to the tower on foot but make sure you have decent shoes, great views as you go up. A Cable car is available to those of us who like to relax. Leave yourself some time to take pictures and peruse the souvenir shops and coffee shop at the footing of the tower.

We were there early in the morning at 10am, no lineups or wait. You can spend at least 2hrs there no problem. Good selection of cafes and food places doenthe family.

Very nice experience. Quite expensive. Quiet crowded. But you have a very nice design concept inside the tower. There are stores at the "Plaza" down at the bottom of the tower, as well as at the top of the tower. You have a very nice view over Seoul and further. Especially at evening and sunset it's a beautiful experience.

Great place to visit in Seoul. So much more to this place than just a tall tower. Good (touristy) shops and plenty of quality places to eat. The views, as expected, is fantastic. But the best part for us was the martial arts show, which we caught just by chance. Must see!!!

I’ve been to Seoul many times, and have always wanted to visit Seoul Tower. We decided to go on a weekday to avoid the large crowd, and it was quite packed on a Thursday afternoon after lunch. We didn’t buy tickets in advance, and it was still an easy process - round trip ticket for 14,000 원 per person for adults and 21,000 원 per person for the observation deck which might not be worth it, but a lot to see and do while at Seoul Tower and we probably spent close to two hours there site seeing and taking pics. Then relaxed and ordered drinks and enjoyed the scenic views from the top.

The N Seoul Tower is a communication and observation tower located on Nam Mountain. The 236-meter-tall tower marks the second highest point in Seoul. Amazing panoramic view of the city. Highly recommend to hike up 🥾🏔️

Such an incredible place to visit. The views of Seoul from the top of tower are amazing. We got the couples package that included tickets to the tower, a heart lock to attach to the love lock fence, and 2 drinks at the top of the tower. It was definitely worth it. I highly recommend taking the cable car to the tower too. It was an awesome way to take in the views on the way up.

It’s THE place to be in Seoul to have the best view of the city!!! Very enjoyable to take a walk there. I don’t recommend going there during winter when it’s -15°C tho because the wind might kill you.. But no problem in spring, it’s even more beautiful!!

Nice place to hang around with friends and family. The weather was good when we went there. The live shows by local artisans are a must watch (not sure if they are performed daily, though). Enough eating joints around...suiting all palates. The view is great. City, water bodies, horizon, sunshine and ofcourse, the snow around - all add to the beauty of the place.

Let say N Tower is center of the Seoul. You can see whole Seoul at once from the top pf the Tower. Furthermore there are several restaurants serving fancy food.

Beautiful experience, the views are incredible!! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to see all of Seoul,it was full of charm and picturesque keepsakes we just couldn't get enough of. You could buy any kind of gifts you wanted at different prices. There are different kinds of restaurants and coffee shops you cant just choose one, and the night view was so beautiful you cant just stay and watch, you have to take pictures because you want to remember this forever. The line to get to the tower is long but it goes really fast, and the line at the tower is even longer but definitely worth the wait. We can't wait to comeback and create more memories!!

Fantastic amusement park for adults and children alike! Like other amusement parks, it's best to bring the whole family, but really anyone can enjoy this place. The biggest, baddest coaster here is the T-Express, which is a popular, fun ride. However, unlike amusement parks in the states, I found it surprising that there was really only ONE coaster like this. After the T-Express, the other coasters offered are rather simple rides. Most amusement parks offer several "big, bad, fast & furious" coasters. The other rides are plentiful and a lot of fun as well. Bumper cars were well worth the wait. All of the employees working at Everland seemed friendly and courteous the entire time, which made the experience enjoyable. All in all, if given the choice between Everland & Six Flags, I'd choose Six Flags for its larger variety of coasters, but both are wonderful, family fun!

My most favorite amusement park! I really love this place because it’s beautiful with lots of flowers and kids. Staff is always friendly and happy-looking. The lines on some days can be pretty long and the park gets crowded however it’s still worth the visit. I really recommend to visit the zoo and pandas and to take a ride on a boat at one of the man-made rivers. 😄🙌🏻

Everland is a place I want to go every season. The concept is different from season to season, which gives not only the fun of riding the rides but also the fun of watching them. In fact, you might think it's a bit of a waste to pay for the ride. But I think it's worth enjoying the rides, taking pictures and leaving memories with your friends. Let's all make memories at Everland!

As an Indonesian, I love this place..this is one of the Seoul icon. From the parking area, we need to take a walk for around 1km to the Namsan Tower. I have been there during autumn season. It is better to bring a bottle of mineral water before going there. The walking moment was quite tiring because the area is slope upward. The scenery there was really beautiful.. we can see the city of Seoul from the area of Namsan tower. There are some souvenir shops there..so we can buy some gifts there. There a cafe next to souvenirs shop, so we can enjoy the view while drinking a hot chocolate or coffee there. There is a spot full of lock there.. usually couples buy the locks and write their name there. Hopefully I can be there again someday 😊

This is one of the most famous landmarks in Korea. No trip to Korea is ever complete without going here. May it be day time or night time, the view at N Seoul Tower is picturesque. Visit here during day time if you want to take nice pics with the tower itself, the love locks, and other places. But, visit here at night time if you want to see the beautiful lights of the cityscape/nightscape of Seoul. It may be accessed via walking/hiking, bus, and cable car. I don’t really recommend using the walking trail if you don’t want to get tired and look drained in your photos. There are also a lot of restaurants to eat at and spots to take pictures at. I hiked up to the tower from a few miles away with a backpack on—the hike is paved and has steps, but it’s *a lot* of steps. I was pretty sweaty and winded by the time I made it to the tower. The view from the lower observation areas is spectacular, honestly even better than the view from the tower itself. This is primarily because people smudge the windows inside the tower, and there are so many kids buying souvenirs and candy up there. That said, going up is kind of fun and they make it into a bit of an experience, with an interesting interactive video projection/art room and some cool videos in the elevator. There’s also a really nice restaurant inside the tower if you’re interested in impressing a date. Definitely worthwhile. I’d recommend hiking up! It’s a nice area to walk and you can find other nice lookout areas along the way!

Best hike as of now, first time to climb multitude of stairs in winter and it was refreshing. The cold weather helped stave off the fatigue and when you run out of breathe, the cool air helps to fill your lungs. It was 1.4km from the bottom to climb the stairs up top. Well maintained and the steps were safe with lots of breakpoints in between

The first stop in our honeymoon was Namsan Tower and it was breathtaking! We had to buy a lock to celebrate the special announcement of our baby! Although we didn't spend much time doing all the activities at the tower or eating at any of the restaurants there we had a blast just taking in the views. 100% recommended for everyone to visit. The cable ride up had a short wait when we were visiting, but heard it could get long. This could be a quick 1hr visit, like it was for us. You can also easily spend 3 hours up there.

Namsan Seoul Tower provides a pleasant, if not outstanding, panorama of Seoul. The journey to reach it from the subway was challenging, necessitating a difficult-to-book taxi for both journeys. However, the real enchantment lies not in the city view, but in the sight of countless love-locks, a spectacle so vast it made me ponder if the mountain might buckle under their weight. This unexpected romantic display adds a unique charm, turning the visit into a truly memorable experience.

Super romantic and fun place so visit with either friends, family, or your date! I’ve been several times since I moved to Korea! You can either walk up the mountain for free or take the cable car 🚠; I believe it was 12,000 per person(?) there’s also different prices for round trip or 1 way. Taking the cable car up and walking down is nice too! (During the cooler months) I’m not 100% sure about the price because my husband paid….. but I know 1 person was less than 20,000… We bought a lock at daiso and decorated it, the locks on top of the mountain are expensive and not cute. There’s also some fun performances; dance and swords during the day too. But the most popular time is night time. Pro tip: if there’s a giant line at night… one person should get in line for the tickets and one person should get in line for the cable car.

The tower itself is very impressive and offers a great view of the city. The surrounding area also offers many spots for observation and photos. The walk/hike up the mountain looks like it would be very enjoyable. You just need the correct shoes as there are lots of steps and inclines involved. I used the cable car on my visit, which offered lovely views. A must-see for anyone visiting Seoul.

One of the top sights to visit in all of Seoul. We didn’t go up to observatory, but the area at the bottom has restaurants, shops, and arcades. It seems to be a very popular date spot for couples. There are a few places that offer a incredible view of Seoul’s skyline. You can either take a ropeway, bus, or walk to the top. But the bus drivers (in Korea in general) need to chill out when driving. He was taking the curves on the road way too fast and causing people standing to hold on for dear life 09/27/2023

Wonderful experience. Gives more than a glimpse over Seoul grandeur as a metropolis. The surrounding forest and park are simply beautiful and pleasant. Reserve some extra time for Cable car waiting line and try to get there by sunset. I always do that when visiting observatories around the World like Sky Tree is Tokyo or Gardens by the bay in Singapore. In Seoul, you will never forget the experience. The geography of the city spread between mountains and water is harmonious and cope well with the urban landscape. Don't miss it.

This place is a lovely view of Seoul! Spring is a nice time to visit here as they have a lot of cherry blossom themed souvenirs and locks. We enjoyed the tradition of hanging your personal lock at the top of the tower. They sell locks there if you forget to bring one beforehand. Our favourite thing to do here though was the photo booths they have just outside. They have large scale print out pictures that are a great souvenir too.

Visiting N Seoul Tower in February was a delightful experience, offering a unique perspective on the city I love. Though not the tallest, the tower provided an incredible vantage point to appreciate Seoul's sprawling beauty. Despite the chilly weather, the panoramic views were stunning, especially with the city lights shimmering below. The romantic ambiance and the opportunity to capture Seoul's skyline during the quieter winter season added a special charm to the visit. N Seoul Tower in February was a memorable stop, allowing me to admire the city's allure from a different angle and reaffirming my affection for Seoul.

So breezy and nice up here. However, it's freezing during the winter months. I came in November and it was around -5 Celcius. You can either walk or take the cable car. The walk is not too bad if you want to exercise. The walk is on the stairs not muddy or on soil whatsoever. You should buy your set of keys if don't want to pay quite some money for them up here. They have Starbucks Coffee, 7-Eleven, restaurants... So don't worry about being thirsty or hungry. You can buy a ticket to go up inside the tower.

8 Oct2023: Nice to visit but honestly I did not get the "wow" factor. Likely because when I visited, autumn has yet to start, and all I see are greens. Perhaps I'd enjoy it more if I did not have any expectations in the first place. The tower, in my opinion, isn't very high up. Perhaps the view at night may be better.

Taking a trek during winter in this scenic mountain is one of the best experiences you can get. As you climb the mountain, the view of Seoul as the sun sets is just magical. My suggestion is that you start the hike at 3 to 3 30 pm and by the time you reach the top, the sun would be setting and soon after, the city lights would be a marvelous sight to view from the top. The Hiking trail I took starts opposite Dongguk university.

Such a beautiful attraction, be it day or night. We weren’t able to get inside, and I’m not sure if you need to because the views from here are so stunning. You can see a portion of Seoul and just imagine how busy the city is. You may also check out the love locks and the section where you can draw your “fortune ball.” There are also a few cafés and shops around. Getting here requires a short uphill walk. We enjoyed going here via bus. Inserted photos of the famous tower taken from different angle.

Beautiful 360° perspective of the city, make sure you choose a sunny day to visit; avoid windy days as well as it can get pretty cold up there. There are 2 ways up, one from the Namdaemun Market side which has proper stairs, and the other from Hannnam, which cuts through the forest like a small hiking trail. Cute restaurants with burgers or noodles, a bit pricey but well, you get to enjoy your hotdog looking at the valley, with the river and the many peaks.

Lakshmi Villas Palace is the Official residence of the Maharaja Of Baroda. The royal family still resides in this magnificent palace builtin 1889.A part of the palace is open for visitors during the day 10 am to 5 pm. Mondays is the weekly off day. The ticket cost includes a complimentary audio tour guide in either english &hindi. Photographs inside the palace are not permitted. The tour takes about an hour. Washrooms are clean. The grandeur of the palace is amazing and very intricate mosaic work. I think the first place where I have seen the Indian mythology on the stained glass form which enhances the beauty of the durbar hall.

Largest private residence and four times of Buckingham palace, the lakshmi vilas palace is very well maintained. one is allowed to see ground floor of the palace. The palace was built on indo sarsenic architecture and the architect found it to be unstable. However it still stands majestically. The entry ticket is little high and is less crowded because of it. The good part is the audio guide which is useful.

Bigger than you think, this place really shows the grandure of a King's Lifestyle in his times. You enter from the aide door, where they provide you an Audio Guide (in available languages like Hindi, English, Gujrati, French and many more), a helper will give you the basics like from where to start..where you can and can't click pictures etc. The Place have 11 different chambers each one dedicated to the different aspects of contemporary King. Be it the Entry Door, the Reception Hall, the Ammunition Room, the House of Commons, the Elephant Room or the Grand Central Hall...each chamber poses the scale of luxury one cannot imagine. Lakshmi Vilas Palace is one is kind not just because of the interiors, but with its stupendous architecture as well. The Place is designed by British Architect Robert Chisholm in 1890 under the realm of King SayajiRao Gaekwad III for ₹2.7 Million in that time. And that's the reason you can witness smooth europian touch gently mixed with Indian contemporary style of architecture. I can rate the palace in below 3 categories.. The Palace Itself: ***** Entry Tickets: *** (Seems a bit high for self guided tour) Area Available to Visit: **** (Nit entire palace is available for public) Maintenance: **** P.S. Photography inside the Palace is prohibited.

Lakshmi Vilas Palace is located in the City of Vadodara, Gujrat. The palace was built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1890. The Palace is the official residence of the Maharaja of Baroda. The royal family still resides in this magnificent palace. It is the largest private residence in India and four times the size of Buckingham Palace. A part of the palace is open for visitors. The architecture is a fantastic exposition of Indo-Saracenic architecture. The Palace is grand, awe-inspiring, and beautiful. One of the most popular tourist attractions in Vadodara.

Venetian mosaic floor, mosaic ornate design walls, Belgian glass and colorful marble windows. A balcony was also constructed in the Durbar Hall so that the Empress could attend the Durbar Sabha. All the other rooms of the palace have a beautiful interior decorated with armor, weapons, swords, guns, shields and all the other essentials of the army and the beautiful paintings made by King Ravi Varma adorn the walls of the palace.

  • 5/5 Shramya k. 3 years ago on Google
It's a grandiose 3 storey palace, though only first floor is opened to visitors and the royal family dwell in the upper floors, so the other two floors are unaccessible. Architecture is wonderful. At the entrance earphones are provided that explains the story of every room that you enter. Also the photography is prohibited inside the palace but there are many outside the palace where pictures can be clicked. Overall a very good experience.

Great place to visit to know more about our history and our culture. If anyone is visiting Vadodara then this place is must visit. Though the entry ticket is a bit high it is worth it. The museum is a bit of overpriced. Had to compensate 100Rupees per person to visit just the gallery. Many interesting things are placed there. I liked it very extensively. But again, I think it is overpriced, the art gallery is very much interesting. The paintings from the 19th century, that we have never seen before. The gifts from Chinese, Indonesian, Myanmar and the Japanese rulers. My personal favourite is mummified animals. English gifts are just paintings very much I thing. Again keep this all in mind before going there.

It is reputed to have been the largest private dwelling built till date and four times the size of Buckingham Palace. At the time of construction, it boasted the most modern amenities such as elevators and the interior is reminiscent of a large European country house. It remains the residence of the royal family, who continue to be held in high esteem by the residents of Baroda. The Palace compound houses a number of buildings, particularly the LVP Banquets & Conventions, Moti Bagh Palace and the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum building. In the 1930s Maharaja Pratapsinh created a golf course for use by his European guests. In the 1990s, Pratapsinh's grandson Samarjitsinh, a former Ranji trophy cricket player, renovated the course and opened it to the public.

22 Apr 2019. This is the best attraction in Korea to me. In autumn you see roses, in spring you see tulips. It takes about 1.5 hrs to reach it from Seoul. Traffic jams along the way are common. Upon reaching the bus terminal you need to take a transfer bus to Everland. There are more than 120 attractions at Everland. The paid ones are very good. Many eateries here and there is a prayer room too. Choose your favourite attractions from the map provided. Try to attend the Everland parade. Children will love it. Til the closing hours, I never manage to complete my visits to all the attractions.

Seoul Tower is one of the landmark that we have it in our itinery. It was quite a long walk up hill after the train station to reach the cable car station, and then a brisk queue to board the cable car. After reaching Namsan cable car station, there's a flight of stairs to reach the tower so it is not really disable friendly. Quite a nice place to go especially during the dusk so that we get pictures during the day as well as the night.

Namsan Seoul Tower is a great place to spend the day. We parked at the National Theatre and walked up, but if we had planned better, we would've taken the cable car. Parking at the National Theatre doesn't take cash, either, so you have to talk to an attendant and pay if you have a foreign credit card. DON'T use Waze to try to find the tower. Map yourself to a good parking location. We ended up on the steepest, scariest roads I have EVER been on. 😂 There are several floors of the tower that are free to the public. You can also take an elevator to the top observation deck and upper floors. It's awesome to there! The views are great, and on the windows, it shows how far you are from other places in the world. One floor up from that, there are informational signs on the windows that explain what you're seeing, like the wall around Seoul. On the ground, the love locks are so fun to look at. They even have a machine where you can buy a new love lock for 12,500 to 14,000 won. Everyone working here speaks great English, so it's easy to ask questions, get food and shop if your Korean language skills aren't up to par.

Has a great 360° view of Seoul. Fun place to spend time with family/friends. Lots of souvenir items available, snacks, drinks and amusements like arcade games and interactive installations. Different cafés in and out of the tower. Which makes it a bit hard to decide where to eat, it's a bit overwhelming, especially if you are already hungry 😂😅. I suggest to research the cafés beforehand so you won't waste time trying to decide where to eat. 😅

Gorgeous place to go on an outing. N Seoul Tower is also quite famous for their "love lockers," in which couples take locks with their initials and store them anywhere in the area. It's a little lonely when you're quite single, but the sights are outrageously gorgeous. I took the scenic route by walking the whole 2.3km up, and ended up with very nice views of Seoul. Highly recommended! In addition to the pavillion, the Namsan Tower houses 7 floors with different shops, a game arcade and even photo booths!

A one time place to visit if you are in Seoul. We went on Sunday. It is situated on the mountain and there are two ways to reach up there, either you can take a cable car or you can hike. We chose the second option. It's a steep hike of about 2Km. Bring energy drink with you as you are going to sweat a lot. You can get the view of entire city from the top. It's a good place to visit with your friends once on a weekend. Book ticket online on waug for a discount on ticket.

Colourful lights of N Seoul Tower! Plenty of food options and also have mini booths for shopping. Bought our passes up the tower via klook, very convenient just redeem via the kiosk. No queue up the tower. There were 2 shops at the top - souvenir shop and a candy shop. Do head to the toilets too, the view is amazing even at the washroom.

We took a taxi till the base point and then a yellow bus (not free) took us near to the tower. There was a bit of uphill walk , which was easy for us and kids. We had to wait for around 70-80 to go up the observation deck. While waiting we strolled around . It was beautiful. In my opinion on can skip going up the observation deck. The view from the terrace is far more beautiful and it’s free. The love lock terrace was surely an exciting sight. I would suggest to go in the early evening .

Amazing views. 21000 won was quite expensive but you can stay as long as you like. View from the ground which is free was very good too. Starbucks, 7/11, burger bars, coffee bars beer all there with great views. Children, couples all having fun.

Seoul N Tower is an amazing place. The views are spectacular. The place is well organized, has restaurants, great souvenir shops with affordable prices! I suggest that this place be visited during the weekdays, as it gets very busy on Saturdays and Sundays, which makes it a little difficult to get that exclusive family photo! Highly recommended to visit this great tourist spot in Seoul.

It's not necessary to buy a ticket before but it was really easy to print and get tickets either way. It's a crazy beautiful place to walk around and explore! There's also lots of food and drink options.

Nice place to visit and take a look over the city. We recommend to take the cable car up and walk down by the path and take a look at the city from lower decks. It is worth to buy ticket in advance and have in mind that the queues are long during the weekend (we waited for about 30min).

Very beautiful site. Hiking to the top was breathtaking for some people I came across. Just have a bottle of water on you before you start the journey. The trail to the top of the mountain has steps which make hiking to the Tower a bit easy. There are spots on the trail to take shots and benches to catch your breath. I never used the cable car, because I wanted to hike. It would be fun to ride. The base of the Tower and the Observatory has gift shops and restaurants. Parking was not really expensive - under 4000 WON for about 2-3hrs. I was very impressed about this site. I'll visit again in the near future.

Very nice tower with excellent views of Seoul! Odd as it may sound, I highly recommend visiting the sky restroom - I love having such a nice view while "taking car of business". The reason I'm giving the tower 4 stars instead of 5 is because there are too many business all over the place trying to sell anything and everything to tourists. When you go up the tower elevator, the first thing you see upon exiting is a candy shop - obviously not something most parents want to see upon going up. If we were allowed to simply enjoy the experience without being hustled, I would recommend it more. Some businesses are fine, but there's too much here.

The first time I climbed the tower was from the entrance of Nanshan Park. Although I had some exercise, it took a lot of energy. This time I took my daughter to visit Seoul Tower again and chose to take the bus line 1 to the bus station next to the tower. The recommended time to visit is from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. You can enjoy the three kinds of scenery during the day, sunset, and night at the same time. The park market next to it has a lot of delicious food and fun things to shop for. After the end, it is very convenient to take the cable car directly to downtown Myeongdong.

If you love K-drama.. this is a place where you must visit. It's a lovely place. You don't need to pay the extra to go all the way to the top.., but if you want to.. the view is very nice. Just observing at the lower levels is good enough..(that's where the locks are). The locks that are locked up are quite dirty and moldy.. so make sure once you lock up your lock.. wash your hands... there's also a place to "throw" away the keys.

A must if you visit Seoul. You don't have to hike if you don't want to, get a return cable car tickets to take you up to and down the tower. There are shops and restaurants there but be prepared to queue during busier times. You can spend a good couple of hours without getting bored.

Namsan Tower is an absolute gem! With its breathtaking views of Seoul, it offers an unforgettable experience for both locals and visitors alike. The journey to the top, whether by cable car or on foot, is a delightful adventure through lush surroundings. Once at the summit, you'll be captivated by the panoramic vistas of the city's skyline and beyond. The tower's design is impressive, and the various observation decks provide fantastic photo opportunities. Whether you go during the day or at night when the city sparkles with lights, Namsan Tower is a must-visit destination that will leave you in awe of Korea's beauty.

This was a very fun place to visit. We rode the cable-car or gondola up, it was about an hour-ish wait in line, but I didn't mind. The tower offers a nice view of city. There's a bunch of different lookout points. This is also a very popular place to put locks. The railings and covered with thousands and thousands of locks. The tower offered a great 360 degree view of the city which is the main reason I wanted to go. So fun to see Seoul stretched out in every direction.

Seoul Tower offers stunning city views. At night, lights make it magical. The tower has cafes, shops, and an observatory. Great for photos and relaxing. Accessible by cable car or hike. Popular tourist spot.

Definitely recommend to buy an observatory experience. Some people tell you that the views from the tower terraces themselves are just as good but if you're here for the first and probably only time - just do it. There was almost no waiting time on a Monday when I visited. And you can see more things and buildings as it's 360. We also had dinner at the restaurant on the 1F - a more traditional and affordable Korean (or just a mix of Asian foods) restaurant. You can also send a postcard - just buy as many as you want and tell the cashiers you want to do so. You have stickers, pens, pencils, and you can get busy with it easily. Look at the floor for guidance what buildings and landscape you're looking at as it's noted. All in all - a great experience. If you find that Lotte Tower is too busy - then definitely do N Tower!

Nice city view once you are up. you may go on foot by climbing the stairs if you want, it was good exercise. or you may take the cable car. so many couples walking. Don't go alone :)

The line was insane - a round trip by cable car takes about 2 hours (not include the tour itself). The ticket is also not cheap (~33000 won). But, when you get to the top at night, looking at the sparkling Seoul town, you know it’s all worth it :)

An amazing experience to watch the sunset over Seoul from the Namsan Tower. Not cheap and even more expensive with the express pass but so worth it. Seoul is a beautiful city in daylight but after sunset from up here it becomes magical. The toilets in the tower really are loos with a view!

It’s fun to go all the way to the top to see how big Seoul is and to understand how the city is build. There is a cable car to go to the top… but, there is a long wait to get into one of those cars, and to be honest it is a bit boring.. but once you’re up it’s very fast to go down again. At the top there are a few places where you can have a snack including a seven eleven.

Seoul Tower or Namsan Tower as it’s also called. The climb is good, with steps all the way. However, you can use a cable car that you’d probably be best to book ahead. As its queue can be quite long. If you walk up though it’s a steep climb but at top you’ve got places to eat. The long walk makes your meal tasty.

A good place to visit to view Seoul city from the top. There's a bus that you can take from the nearest MRT station. There's also a lot of queue on weekdays so expect waiting to buy tickets. I visited during cold weather and I would say I enjoyed walking in the nature around it.

A famous landmark in Korea that comes to everyone's mind is Seoul Tower. Initially, reaching the top required a strenuous walk, but now there's a cable car available. However, I recommend walking to witness the breathtaking sunset, enjoy the cherry blossoms, and marvel at the beautiful nature below. When you visit, don't forget to bring a sweater because, after the sun sets, the weather becomes very cold. It's a perfect spot for couples, as many lovers attach padlocks and write their names on posts or fences.
