This new addition to Lotte World is surprisingly well maintained, and there is lots to see. However, compared to other, larger aquariums in South Korea, Lotte World Aquarium lacks attractions, unique and larger creatures and high quality merchandise. Given its limited space, there is not much more that can be done to improve the attraction, but it is still a feat to have an aquarium inside a shopping mall and beside a massive theme park. I'm not sure if I would visit again, given that it is not cheap for two hours of viewing, but I think it is definitely worth checking out.

It was a lot nicer than I expected! Since it was so small, I didn't think there would be much to see. However, there were a lot of sea animals! There are stations where you can feed the fish. My personal favorite was seeing the beluga whale! I personally take a long time reading everything and spending time admiring each animal. It took me about an hour and half to get through the whole aquarium. Take time to look through everywhere because you aren't careful, you might just walk by the tunnels and some parts of the aquarium. Tip -- I found that getting tickets online is much cheaper! I think it was nearly half the price of getting the tickets there in person.

Situated in the B1 of the Lotte World Mall, this aquarium has an extensive array of fish, reptiles, and other marine animals. It was really busy when we visited but I think that’s normal because of the location it’s in (beside the amusement park and the tower). There are also many different exhibits for you to explore and I think the big draw is the beluga whale exhibit. They also have the standard floor to ceiling tanks full of sharks and rays and the underwater hallways. I also thought the lighting was brighter than other aquariums which made the whole place feel cheerier.

It is the closest to an immersive experience without getting in the water. They also have a section where you can pay to get a bottle to feed the fish. Warning, the fish are aggressive but in a cute way.. they love feeding time so hold onto the bottle firmly! There is also a gift shop located at the end of the aquarium where you can buy various items. Overall, it does not take very long to get through the entire aquarium. I would say somewhere between 1-1.5 hours. The nice thing is that it's located inside the mall so you can walk around before or after. The prices from what I recall are fairly cheap but we did opt to do a package including our aquarium admission through Klook.

As what everyone has clearly written in their reviews, the highlight of this aquarium is there very friendly, playful and adorable beluga whale! Apart from the beluga, this aquarium is only one of the very few places you can visit in the lotte tower. I suggest that if you plan on doing the skywalk, and the theme park together with the aquarium, do the aquarium first as it's always better to start here the earliest to avoid the crowd so that you can enjoy all the sea life without any distractions. You may need to spend at least 1 hour here and I personally believe you can spend longer! It's very friendly to families with small kids. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Seoul. Surely not just for kids but also for kids at heart!

First time on the Luge or anything like it, really fun. Bought the three ride solo deal and felt it was probably as they say best value. There's no other way to go up other than the chairlift so not sure why it makes it out as a combo piece. If you go as fast as I do then the bumps to slow you can wear your hands down. First time to learn, very intuitive, second time try the other entrance (there's two) and third enjoy yourself. Guy told me workers manage 3:40 but that's gotta be with no people, no obstacles, no employees shouting at you to slow down at the jump and after. I'd guess you can expect 6 minutes on the ride at a normal pace, plus the queue time at the top and for the skyride. The average grandma and kid go very slow so if you want to go fast then go as its getting dark was super quiet then even on a Saturday. There's a steep slope that if you take at full speed it jumps and the landing is tough on the spine.

Not too expensive, and my entire family loved it (ranging from 2 to 50). Lines can be a bit long, but if you can get there at a less crowded time you can make it down both tracks in less than an hour. If the prices were a bit cheaper it'd be an easy 5-star.

Great experience. Korean people are always strict so good organisation. Not too many people during the week, and we are lucky the weather was good.

It is so fun to do this. I think it's a bit expensive for how quick you go down the hill. About 3 minutes per ride. One ride is like 15 dollars. I think I'd only do this place one time so you can say you did it but never go again because of how expensive it is.

Not a bad aquarium, best feature was the seals, atleast 3. They would follow light around in circles. The whale was also really cool to see. Lots of different exhibits, pig nose turtles, jelly fish, eels, rock fish, and a juvenile crocodile.

This is a very nice place to visit with your family. You can probably spend about 3-4 hours with your family if you let your kids play as they want in their play areas. I live a few hours away from Monterey Bay aquarium and I've visited it probably almost a dozen times now with my family. Lotte World Aquarium is not on the same level as Monterey Bay aquarium in Monterey Bay California, but it's definitely worth a visit with your family. In particular, they have beluga whales as one of the exhibits, and by itself makes it worth while to visit. Three creatures are incredible. They are just like dolphins. One of them came straight to the window and just stared right back at us with their intelligent eyes. A little sad and incredible to see. It's not exactly small but definitely not big, so I guess medium sized. I got a combo ticket with the Seoul Sky observation deck for about $30 USD, which I thought was a fair price. The aquarium is geared towards families though, I was one of the only people there without kids and definitely the only one there solo. It's a nice enough place though, it just lacked some of the "wow" factor you get with bigger aquariums.

The year pass is a pretty good deal. You can pop over whenever you want all year long. It's nice to chill by the seals or the big tank with the sharks and manta rays. The music they play is nice too, different in each area. They have a cool tunnel with big fish from south America. It's pretty neat. It's a nice 1-2 hour visit every time. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very smart and modern aquarium with lots to see, pretty of sea creatures as well as fish, their star attraction must be the beluga and the huge tanks with sharks in you can walk through, as well as the escalator through the seal tank. Need to watch out whilst walking through as some paths bypass a few tanks so need to check you don't miss something. But not sure about Beluga or sea turtles in captivity, and the tanks were small for those animals - but everything was clean and they didn't look to be unhappy at least

The aquarium is inside Lotte World Mall, so it was very convenient and easy to access by subway. We bought our tickets in advance through KLOOK, which was slightly cheaper than buying through the official website. We went on a weekday afternoon, so there was no wait-time. We showed our online voucher QR-code to the staff, who gave us our printed tickets. We then entered through the gate. There were a variety of fish exhibits, with fish, reptiles, sharks, etc. There were also certain parts where you could feed the fish or get souvenirs or get your caricature drawn. The overall experience was positive. However, the aquarium seems to be mainly targeting children. It was not very big, with most of thr decor and many of the exhibits targeting children. For us, it took around 1.5 hours to walk around.

amazing place! have many zones for explore and is colorful and magical! Many parents with kids was visiting when we went there and all ages kids seemed love. have diferent kind of ocean life. we made an anual pass and we'll back soon as possible

Let's start with ticket prices - I recommend buying tickets at the counter because there are all sorts of discounts you can get. We got the You and Me date package discount (너랑 나랑 데이트 패키지), the offer is valid from Feb 1st to 28th and before talking to the staff we had no idea that was a thing. Secondly, come early. As early as possible and preferably during a workday. This means fewer people since this spot is popular amongst all age categories, especially kids and for dates. And the marine life... The beluga whale was definitely the highlight of our visit, the beluga is super friendly, and likes kids. The penguins were also super hyper, and the tank with sharks and rays was peaceful to look at. Everyone will for sure find their favourite animal. There are also souvenirs, an artist alley and a café.

Fun aquarium for all ages. We enjoyed walking through the aquarium tunnel. I would allocate about 2 hours to go through and the entrance is located on the lower level of Lotte mall.

Very nice aquarium. I've been to a lot of aquariums and this one is one that I really enjoyed. Its not too big nor too small. I like the feeling of feeling your in another world while walking through. Great place for families for a day adventure. Definitely recommend!

We've been to several aquariums in different cities. We liked this one as well. Kids liked seals and beluga. Service is good. I'd recommend to hire more English-speaking staff.

It has a huge variety of species of fish, crustaceans and other marine life animals. But the biggest attraction in my opinion is the beluga whale as well as the seal presentation that is held at certain times in the morning and afternoon. It is a place that deserves to be visited and caters for all ages!

The aquariums are all tailored for children. I didn't enjoy this as the displays were so small, even the main one. The beluga whale was the main attraction for me. Pales in comparison if you've been to the one in Singapore

I visited various aquariums in Europe and Asia. And this is the most interesting and worthy one. It looks small at the entrance, but the actual space is huge with numerous types of fish. They even have a cute beluga whale 🐋

Beautiful! Many things to see up close. Spacious. Kids enjoyed their 2 hours walkabout.
