Great little restaurant and bar on the beach. When walking in from the road, it seems like the place is either under construction or closed. Then you get to the tables by the beach, and the place is lovely. Good and cocktails are really good. Staff is nice and responsive. Some neat art on site. Very quiet beach zone.

The food here is delicious! It has been a hit and miss whilst travelling in Thailand, many times disappointing food. But here, it has been consistently good and well prepared, and we returned few times during our stay. The spicy shrimp salad and the papaya salad was so good. As well as the soups. The ambience is great, relaxing and well decorated. The service was quick, surprisingly so, after reading some reviews. I guess it depends on staff and days of the week. But all tables were full when we visited and the food was served in proper time.

Fantastic beach bar/restaurant. Lots of lovely choice for food and drinks. Then 10 steps forward your on an amazing beach, with stunning views! The entrance to this place is highly thought of as you walk on a bamboo walkway to the bar and the toilets are very clean. Inside is shaded with trees and there's a small shoo inside that sells little trinkets.

This restaurant has the best curry fish dish in the whole island (must try). Fried rice is ok, nothing special. Great location with ocean view. Polite staff with pretty chill atmosphere. Will definitely come back if I have a chance.

We taste the fish at 18:30 after sunset when it’s not people (early dinner) and the pad Thai! Was better than the best !

Some of the BEST Thai food we have found in this country. The shrimp pad Thai was 10/10, the fried bananas and glass noodle salad were super flavorful & delicious! The staff (appears to be family-run) were so, so kind. The mango smoothie was literally a pureed cup of perfection with no additives. The setup right along the beach made it even more unique. A little hole in the jungle with some of the tastiest food you’ll ever find…

Great location, nice service, cozy furniture and and local foods with special taste. Pad Thai with shrimps was the best. Highly recommended!

Short walk on the beach from the Pimalai. Flavorful Thai dishes, we loved everything but particularly the morning glory greens, massam curry and Tom Lam soup. Coconut pancake and fried bananas for dessert were treats. Great service, amazing value. We'd come back. (And we did!)

Very lovely and romantic place, great food, atmosphere and prices. Just make sure that it’s not too spicy if you don’t likes spicy food. Absolutely recommend!

Excellent food! The fried chicken with cashew nuts was delicious.. best we’ve had! The staff are really friendly and the service is quick. Highly recommend you visit this place, especially during high tide. Yes the prices are higher (150 baht for pad Thai/fried rice) but you have an AMAZING location. At least come have a beer or just use the beach put front. They TAKE Visa (500baht + spend required). You're on the beach, in the shade. Water is beautiful and clear. The sand is very very soft, not white but not yellow. Not much for shade on the beach so plan accordingly but the restaurant is a good place to escape the sun and enjoy the breeze.

Cafe right on the beach with beautiful views of Kantiang Bay. Limited menu, we have only had breakfast here of pancakes, fruit and ice teas. All delicious and good price for the location. Very relaxing place to spend your time.

The location is really cool and modern. The food was absolutely delicious, we especially loved the tempura shrimp. The service is so friendly and kind and we ate her almost every lunch time. Can highly recommend!

The location is very nice and the staff is friendly. Food quality is above the average but also a bit more expensive.

When they ready and open their kitchen, try this. Shrimp tempura. Gangsom pla. 🌶️ Massaman curry. Cashew nut chicken. Pad thai. Kua gling 🌶️ And... Mango sticky rice. Drink... Mojito. They are the best in this area.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Easy to pass if you are driving, but I recommend you find it! The pad thai was some of the best we had in Thailand! The fish was so fresh and delicious! Plus you are sitting right on the beach. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

We’ve had some amazing food here with an amazing seaside view to keep us company throughout our lunch. Incredibly friendly staff as well. Throughout our journey in Thailand this is one of the best places we have eaten at. Refined and tasty dishes prepared with care. Absolutely recommend this place.

Great moment, we were basically alone in the restaurant and had dinner on a table on the beach, isolated from everything, it was magic. Friendly staff, the food is good without being extraordinary. I would like to thank the chef for the guitar performance and the lovely moment at the end of the night. We will remember it for a long time.

Great beach, relaxed staff, very friendly. Not the best food but pretty good. Nice place to spend an afternoon swimming and soaking up cocktails.

Beautiful beach bar situated under palm trees on the best beach on the island! Food was OK, atmosphere and location was 10/10! Recommend their Mango Lassie my word!

They just re-opened last week. Limited menu but all was good. Recommended fried rice, spring roll and chicken with cashew nuts. Or just chill and drink

This place has an absolutely incredible beach and they are very generous about letting folks come through and enjoy it. The cabana has great drinks and beers, perfect to have while relaxing on the beach. I love this place, wish they sold t-shirts! :D

We've been staying at the pimalai for a week and on our last day we've experienced the best food yet here at same same but different. Literally mind blowingly good. Penang and mussaman will take you to another planet with your feet in the sand and the sounds of the waves in the background.

11 Oct '22. Still appears closed. There was a local lady there (I think she lives there), who didn't speak any English, so I was unable to find out if it will reopen for high season.

We've visited this restaurant around lunch (14:00) and the place is beautyful. Staff is quite fast, however the prices are for 2 people ~ 500 BAHT for lunch), pat thay with seafood was a little sour and sticky rice was quite small portion.

What a great place. Perfect for chilling on the beach. They have all kinds of drinks and cocktails and great food. Everything I ordered tasted fresh and was delicious. Somebody below wrote that because they had just reopened, the menu was limited, but when I was there, I was already offered many options from the menu. Lastly, the service is excellent and fast.
