We stayed stayed three nights here which is the max I’d recommend for a few reasons: 1. The walls are very thin and there are gaps in the doorframe meaning you hear everything! Not good if you are a light sleeper… Besides the pillows are very hard. 2. There is no wardrobe, cupboard or a proper shelf to store your belongings. So you just have to live out of your suitcase. 3. There is no lift, just a very steep set of stairs. I was honestly scared of falling down a few times. 4. The owner doesn’t seem that friendly, she just seems to be after everyone’s money lol 5. All the rooms have a big window facing the corridor, If you forget to shut the curtains everyone can look inside. Especially annoying if you’re staying on the ground level! The only good thing I can think of is breakfast. There is a nice selection of stuff for everyone: Rice, Soup, Sausages, Egg, Bread, Cereal, Pancakes… And you get free water every day (0.5 l bottle per person) The location is great. Two minute walk to the beach. Besides you have to take of your shoes in the building.

This was such a lovely place to stay and so close to the beach. We were the only guests here because it was the beginning of the low season, but the weather was great. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent. I will definitely come back and stay here for an affordable trip away.

Not your touristy place on the beachfront. Has an owner-managed feel to it. It's a a 5 minute walk up the road from the Tubtim resort and bar on the beach. There's also a shortcut to the silver-sands resort (party beach) through the staff access road across the road. And please support the local-owned bar on the corner heading towards Tubtim. I had their green curry and spring rolls three times! Tasty.

charming common areas, just a few minutes drive from the beach. The bed is comfortable, but a bit small. By far the worst aspect of this place is the staff. I think it was the owner working the reception desk. She wasn't welcoming at all, and barely glanced up to talk to us as we were checking in. She seemed more concerned with getting paid. We didn't see her smile once throughout our stay. She's clearly working in the wrong industry. There are no bathroom amenities so you'll have to take your own. The walls are also pretty thin so noise can easily be heard from neighbours. The twin rooms on the ground floor have a large glass wall overlooking a corridor which does't offer much privacy. I'd avoid these rooms. Everyone raves about the breakfast but I thought it was quite mediocre. Fried eggs are served cold, and the pancakes tasted like store bought batter mix.

Nice place to stay at. The lady at the front desk was very smiling person and polite.

Clean, cute rooms. Nice bedding, cold air conditioning and free breakfast. Three minute walk to the beach, great value for the money. The front desk staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Very cute bungalows, very new, very clean with a great smell. However, our friend stayed in a room, not a bungalow, and she was given a room right next to a family with a small child and she could hear the child crying and screaming until late at night and the people talking. Walls are paper-thin. No shower gel or shampoo, which I found a bit annoying as we've stayed in cheaper places on the island where they had everything. Breakfast not great if you can't have gluten.

Great hotel. New, modern and clean rooms with air conditioner and breakfast included. The owner is very nice. The hotel is near the beach, 1 minute by walk. Our stay was perfect.

For this price you couldn’t ask for more. Great location! You can get to several beaches by feet. Breakfasts were ok! Really clean! Only one disappointing was a sound isolation in the rooms.

Great place to stay on Koh Samet. 1 minute away from Ao Tubtim beach by walk at speed of snail. Absolutelly clean and modern accommodation very well maintained. Suroundings is ala Thai, but inside is combination Provance&Colonial style. Here you can find very quiet place oposite to beach location.

We felt in love with our cottage! It was sweet decorated with tons of cute features, very clean, the bed was comfy and towels were good. It takes 2 min walking from a beach, where you can find really good bars and places to eat.

A wonderful and clean bungalow located in a wonderfully quiet nature. Close to everywhere. The island beaches are wonderful. I recommend the hotel.
