Michelin recommended right next to the beach. I sat down and expected an expensive and simple salad, I soon realized this place is a pearl. The location is superb, the service is excellent and the food is exquisite. We ate here 3 days a row. The tempo is high and the food is fast but extremely well done. This place deserves the recommendations from Michelin. I highly recommend the baked pie and the chef salad for starter.. Oh man that was an experience. The kids menu is super tasty, those kids sausages have lots of flavor and the green beans taste superb.

A lovely restaurant by the beach. Had the seafood platter with a white wine from Bordeaux. Followed it up with a fantastic dessert. The waiter spoke very good English and liked to have a joke. The food tasted amazing. Only downside was they allow smoking in the terrace area.

Restaurant Chez Pierre is a wonderful restaurant. It is a pity that everywhere it is advertised along with the Café de la Plage, which we did not visit. Because of this, it is not possible to give the restaurant and cafe separate objective reviews. I'm only talking about the restaurant. We first visited it in 2011 and remembered all these years. In September 2022 we were back in Arcachon and visited Chez Pierre 5 times. He got even better. All dishes are very tasty, especially pigeon and tuna. Great service, good wine selection.

Recommended by the tourist office and was not disappointed. Location cannot get any better, fantastic service and oysters. Impressive selection of cold seafood all served in a generous tray of ice Cooked food was slightly hit and miss, the sole was beautiful but the sauce/flavouring of scallops were not my favourite. It is also a bit pricy hence 4 not 5 stars. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back when in Arcachon.

Overpriced, below average food. Slow service (albeit, admittedly friendly staff). The seafood soup was terrible (tasted like rotting prawn shells and looked like a bad mushroom soup). Atlantic sole was overcooked In excess burned butter and so was the squid (which was rubber sole). €137 lunch for two

Great experience with the full seafood platter, excellently fresh and tasty!!! Their homemade mayonnaise is very tasty too. Just go there and enjoy the food. Staff is very dare but this is the high quality of service education in France. Atmosphere is 4/5 because it’s too crowded and close tables outside and inside.

Experienced dinner twice at Chez Pierre for 3 nights staying in Arcachon 🇫🇷 I enjoyed the food, the drinks, the view, the atmosphere, and there was a live music in front of the beach. I was greatful having the table by the street afterwards, even though I was kinda insisting to get a table inside while it was full.

Great if you want seafood platters or sushi which are amazing but rest of menu is a bit basic. Service is a bit rushed and peremptory.

Everything was great about this place except that it took a really long time to get the waiter to bring our check when we had finished our meal. Wwe probably would have ordered a coffee as well, if it had bot taken so long for them to come afterwards. But, it was a very busy day, so I can't really fault the server. Overall, great atmosphere and great environment and the food was also fantastic!
