This is one of the better surprise finds during the trip in this area. On a whim we decided to check out this falls and wow it's totally worth it. Parking was relatively easy and free, there's a washroom at the beginning of the trail so use it before you hike. The trail was relatively easy except for the very end where it was steeper and a little rocky, but should be very doable for any able bodied person. The trail took around 20-30 min each way, nothing crazy. You will get slightly wet from the falls mist, so plan accordingly.

Very beautiful! The drive up there is filled with wonderful views. There’s lots of tables and benches, great for picnics and various group activities. The pathway is wide and open, parking isn’t too far, my grandparents were able to walk from the car to the falls and they’ve got bad hips and all that. There were outhouses for convenience, not too clean but no outhouse is clean. This is definitely a great site seeing spot!

The most beautiful waterfall i have ever seen! So happy to be able to see it in real life! Pictures don’t do it justice. Second tallest waterfall in Canada worth the trip to see! So strong and loud, it was such a beautiful site. We went at 8 am not busy at all only 4 other people there i’m assuming by noon it gets busy. There was a few switchbacks to get up the mountain to reach the falls but nothing a small car can’t handle! Beautiful view of the mountains and all around great experience. Would definitely recommend going here if you’re in B.C. worth the trip!! Outhouses there if you need to go to the bathroom.

Takakkaw Falls is stunning waterfalls in Yoho National Park, and this natural attraction is well worth the drive to a side road and a short detour from the Trans-Canada Highway. More of a walk on a paved path than a hike. You can climb up the rocks at the end to get closer to the base of the falls if you want (many people do) but you don’t get that much better a view than you do from the end of the path. Spectacular and amazing!

I really enjoyed walking the path to see Takakkaw Falls! Family and pet friendly! Nice place to stop and have a little picnic. The path is long but easy to navigate. Bring water and wear comfortable shoes! The Falls look different from multiple viewpoints driving in as well as walking right up to them. You can get close enough to feel the waterfalls spray upon you. Fun place to spend an afternoon. Great exercise walking the pathways!

Amazing waterfall just 15 minutes off the transcanada highway. the waterfall is only a 5 minute walk from the parking lot which has bathrooms, picnic areas, and lots of trails along the river. to get to the waterfall, cross over the pedestrian bridge and head up the path. It's a popular place for tourists and rock climbers but well worth the stop. Rocks are slippery so be careful along the river and at the base of the falls.

This amazing waterfall is the second highest waterfall in Canada. This is the top most attraction in Yoho National park, BC. A short hike to the waterfall. There are few picnic tables & washroom facilities at the beginning of the trail, close to the parking lot. Plenty of free parking is available.

👍👍 Yoho National Park has lots of hidden gems to explore like the Natural Bridge, Lake Emerald etc. The sceneries are breathtaking. Lake emerald is such a beauty with its turquoise-colored water. The Natural Bridge is awesome too. Not many people visit it, so it's very calm and relaxing place.
