I've been living in Arles for 3 years and I still come every Saturday to enjoy the market's colorful, provençal and friendly atmosphere. I start at the local producers' square (near the tourist's office) where I find organic and local vegetables (the Japanese producer has exquisite leaves to add to your salade). Don't miss the cheese and olive's stands just behind the square. And just before leaving I meet friends and drink a coffee or a fresh pressed juice at Marie's market café (next to the carrousel), where the local "bobos" gather. Pure pleasure !!!

This open air market provides an interesting opportunity to view such a very wide variety of crafts, fruits, vegetables, meat, honey and so much more and stretches two kilometres…capturing the energy of an open market with healthy interaction of customer with the seller…some suggest on the Wednesday Market there is a paradise for bargain hunters …

Not quite as impressive as we had hoped, the food component of the market did not disappoint however the goods section of the market was equally cheap imported goods as it was actual antiques.

The best market we went to in France. It felt like the market would never end when walking along it. There are so many different vendors for all types of food.

Crafts and clothes of all types, cheese and meats, fresh vegetables that were so much cheaper than what we pay for in America. My son even got some fancy rocks. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in Arles.

One of the bigger outdoor markets. Seen more than 5 markets now, and this one was the most interesting and with good variety and quantity of stores. Recommended

After the one in Carpentras the most beautifull large Provence market. Delicious food, specialities, little tourist merchandise, crowded but safe.

So many stalls selling lots of fresh produce, well worth a visit, most stalls offer a little taster of what they are selling, from fresh tomatoes to olives and various meats, breads, cheeses and fruit.

Fun food and tchotzke market held on Saturday mornings. Cooked, raw, and live food offerings (chickens & rabbits) as well as every souvenir you could think of. Worth an hour of rambling.
