Wonderful example of a Roman Thermal bath. Only part remains, but what exists displays the size of the vaulted ceilings. Note, too, the alternating use of brick and cement to construct the walls and vaults. Be sure to look at the "hypocaust", or heat vents, which channeled heat from fires to heat the pools. One of the best examples I have seen in my travels.

Not sufficient information on actual layout in my opinion.

Nothing much remains of the 4th century Roman baths, but it is interesting to wander around these ruins and ponder on the people who lived here 1700 years ago. A pleasant half hour can be spent here, for the modest fee of €4.

About a quarter of the original building remains, which makes it difficult to understand. However is still worth a visit, if you're doing the other Roman sites, with the multi-site tourist pass.

Stumbled on this bit of history and tied together other baths we've seen throughout France and Italy. Worth the small amount of money to enter as you get to explore around the entire grounds!

Least impressive of all the wonderful sites in Arles. There isn’t really much too see, and what there is has been rebuilt/modified - so it’s not particularly authentic. There’s a couple of information boards giving descriptions of how the baths would have looked/been. But in my honest opinion, if this ‘site’ hadn’t been included in my City Pass and I’d paid to visit, I would have been bitterly disappointed! Don’t waste your money or your time - not unless you fancy reading a couple of notice boards to kill some time.

Interesting. Lacks of information on what was each place/room of the Thermes. I had no clue where the piscine was placed, the heating place etc

Not that much to see. I don't think it's worth the price of admission. You can see most of it from outside.

This is a simple attraction, but it is well worth a look. There is limited information on English, but you don't need much. Again the Arles multisite pass is really good value - quick look for free, or on its own 4 euro.

Old Roman baths from the 1st century. A shadow of its former self at just one third the former area. However if you let your imagination loose anything can happen. Worth a visit if you are stuck for something to do or just happen upon it as you walk the back streets

Nice and quiet place. No toilets. Amazing that how big that bath was.
