I
and
several
coworkers
went
to
this
place
because
it's
literally
downstairs
from
where
we
work.
The
food
is
a
bit
overpriced
and
not
that
good,
service
was
nil,
but
it's
a
nice
location,
and
when
you're
having
drinks,
good
conversation,
and
laughter
😃
among
friends,
you
overlook
certain
things,
but
not
after
tonight.
They
had
a
sign
up
saying
closed
for
a
private
event,however,
the
bar
was
open
to
other
patrons
(because
they
don't
want
to
miss
that
money).
The
space
was
cramped,
but
quite
a
few
people
were
in
the
bar
area,
eating
mostly
appetizers,
drinking,
and
conversing.
Of
course,
it
was
loud...it's
a
bar.
There
were
five
(5)
of
us
at
a
cramped
table
on
the
right
side
of
the
bar
up
against
the
window.
There
were
three
(3)
to
four
(4)
older
gentlemen
directly
behind
us
at
the
bar,
and
one
(1)
of
the
gentlemen
was
Soooo
Loud
talking;
you
know
that
type
it's
a
power
thing.
But,
no
worries,
we're
at
a
bar.
Then,
the
event
starts
on
the
other
side
of
the
restaurant,
and
they're
talking
on
the
microphone.
So,
a
guy
in
a
suit
jacket
comes
over
to
us
(he
works
there)
and
leans
in
to
ask
up
to
keep
it
down
for
the
private
event.
Totally
bypassing
the
gentlemen
at
the
bar
who
were
overtly
loud
that
we
couldn't
hear
ourselves.
So,
I
asked
him
was
he
going
to
take
some
money
off
our
bill
as
a
joke;
I
guess
he
didn't
like
that...
we're
paying
customers.
We
continue
to
finish
eating
and
finishing
up
our
drinks.
I
saw
him
talking
to
the
bartender,
and
the
next
thing
we
know
the
bartender
comes
and
brings
us
the
bill
telling
us
someone
is
waiting
for
the
table.
The
bill
for
4
drinks,
a
dozen
raw
oysters,
and
a
shrimp
appetizer
was
$89
dollars.
But,
when
we
saw
there
was
NO
ONE
waiting
for
the
table,
we
were
like
they
want
us
to
leave.
Our
culturally
diverse
table
wasn't
the
issue,
it
was
the
culturally
European
persons
but
none
of
the
culturally
European
persons,
especially
the
loud
ones,
were
asked
to
leave.
It
annoys
me
to
even
say
that,
but
it
was
painfully
obvious
to
everyone
in
our
group.
Thank
you,
SER,
for
showing
us
the
real
SER.
As
I
stated,
we'd
come
here
out
of
convenience,
given
we
work
in
such
close
proximity
of
the
building,
but
we'll
never
patronize
this
establishment
again.
If
you're
closing
for
a
private
event;
just
close!
The
whole
place
was
loud,
especially
the
gentlemen
at
the
bar,
so
why
not
ask
them
to
tone
it
down.
We
know
you
could
tell
the
difference
😏.
