One of the most beautiful churches in the Netherlands with panoramic view to Arhnem! Enjoy the view from the glass protruding volumes. Unique experience to stand on these glass balconies!

Definitely worth a visit while at Arnhem. The church at the moment has no much to offer, with th exception of the organ. The true highlight is the tower. The ticket covers the tower and you get an euro discount if you have the museum card. Audio guide is offered for free with your ticket. Staff recommendation is climb directly to floor 7 using the elevator. Then there’s one extra floor using stairs to go to top of the tower. The 7th floor has some story about the tower, surrounding buildings, the war and the market garden operation. The 8th floor (top) is mostly view and some interactive stuff that explains how the new tower was designed. On your way down you go to the 6th and 5th floors where you have the observation “decks”. You can take great photos and video from here and also get some vertigo. Keep going down to the 1st floor for a video with the tower history. And finally back on the ground floor don’t forget to go through the room that has some photos of the tower and its reconstruction. Also check out the ceiling of that room ;)

Fantastic view over Arnhem from the top of the tower! It's nice that the Museum Card is valid...

A visit to the Eusebius church in Arnhem is truly rewarding. A ticket allows access to the church, its cellars (where you can even see remains of the forefathers of our Dutch king Willem Alexander) and the church tower with its marvelous views over the city. On the 6th floor the glass balcony might be a challenge for some. But the result is breathtaking. The entrance fee is a bit expensive. Very friendly staff. Please like this review if found useful. Thank you.

Really great! The first time I was able to go to the top of such tall church tower! And the glass balconies are the best part. The audio guide was great too, I was able to learn a lot from the city and church. It is a good idea to have the museum card.

Amazing architecture and variety, all in one building. By moving though its different floors , you time - jump back in the different milestone periods of this church. On the first floor you can see the remains of Duke Charles and how he helped establish the city of Arnhem. On the sixth floor you can have a daredevil experience by walking on a glass Balcony and if you are not too scared to pay close attention to the surrounding gargoyles, you will see something peculiar that will amaze you. On the seventh floor you can learn about the architecture competition that led to the present form of the church. Personally I routed for the third rejected model but anyways. On the first floor learn about the WW2 phase of the church and how it got destroyed ironically by burning even though a few days earlier it had a pioneer for its days fire system installed. And for a closure that will make an impression on you 😉 go to the catacombs and use the flashes there to see inside the cells. There you will learn about the social norm in burial ceremonies in the 15th century and see skyscrapers of skeletons 🦴. All in all a very diverse and full experience. And the city of Arnhem is a small and peaceful jewellery on its own. When you step outside it's lovely station grab a coffee and walk its alleys to reach the Eusebius Church . Then walk to the airborne bridge. EA

A wonderful museum where the past, the present and the vision towards a future of science merge into a single architectural piece.

Amazing church architecture experience when you visiting Arnhem, which sadly no longer function as a church, entry fee is €11/person which worthy if you dare to step on hanging glass balconies, our task is to find Mickie statue, take selfie, or just enjoy the fantastic yet scary view below your feet, on the top floor we can enjoy the fantastic view of the Arnhem skyline from panorama lift

Beautiful, bright church with an exciting story. Admission is free unless you want to go up the tower. There is a lot to see, especially about the history of Geldern. We were there on a weekday and it was very empty and you could look around in peace

St. Eusebius church should be included as part of any visit to Arnhem. The view from the church tower is impressive and overlooks important World War II battle sites related to Operation Market Garden. The glass balconies attached to the tower provide a very unique perspective. The church building is decorated with whimsical stone statues of microorganisms.

A must for everyone who loves old walls. The highlight, however, is the glass viewing platform. Even I, who am afraid of heights, enjoyed it.

A recommendation for every tourist. Price performance fits. Advice is top. And you can take an elevator to the top of the church..

Tours available in many languages with an audio guide. Nicely done. Elevator up to the roof with additional films about the history of the church and a glass viewing platform from where you can see the city. But you should be free from giddiness.

Was such a cool experience. I would recommend going up to the top with the glass floor. If you're scared of heights.. Maybe don't go as even the walkway is slightly exposed. The elevator ride was an experience on its own. The history about the battle of Arnhem was interesting and the displays were uniquely set up. The walk around the church was fast but interesting, however my favorite was the underground section. The displays of the bones and the old colums were a nice little extra tour. Try go when it's not to busy as it gets crowded on the glass walkway, and only around 4 Ppl can for at a time.

It is a very beautiful church

Beautiful church. Beautifully restored. You could also go into the cellars. And then into the tower with the elevator. Highly recommended. Beautiful views over the city. Also view the carillon at the top and, if you are lucky, listen to it. Bring a jacket because it is cold. Glass lookout posts are beautiful if you are not afraid of heights.

The church history was great. It was displayed in the grave chambers. It is well worth the fee (15 euros) to get in. Also, that money will go towards the daily expenses for the church/foundation. The view from the top was amazing as well. Take out 60-90 minutes of your visit to experience it all.

I didn't go into it because I was in a hurry. but it's also beautiful from the outside. it didn't seem to fit particularly well with the modern architecture around it. old and new intertwined.. this is beautiful.. I would like to go inside and see the whole city from above from the glassed-in section. I missed this opportunity..

Great visit to the church for the views of the bridge and also learn about the history of the church and role it played during ww2

Beautiful church with an attractive tower, that both have been destroyed in WWII, and later restored (though not in its original state). Interesting presentation about the war, operation Market Garden (parachute landing of the allied troops) and the history of the tower. Interesting also for kids for the great views and glass platform.

Great view! And interesting articles about The Battle of Arnhem. You need to be brave to enter the glass platforms!

  • 4/5 R. A. 2 years ago on Google
unfortunately 11€, which is really expensive. But you get a very nice tour to a high tower in a lift. And an audio guided tour about Arnhem Battle. And very good view to the Bell-tower. And highlight are the 2 Glass-balconies where you step out in huge hight! You need a bit courage. We spend 1,5 hours on this site.

Beautiful art works, thrilling lift into the tower with glass balconies and great views. Also loved the people that work there, lovely interactions. Tip: book a ticket for the tower in advance online.

One of the most beautiful church buildings in the Netherlands. Dating back more than 500 years, this building is keeping up with modern times. When visiting, be sure to take the glass elevator up to the top of the bell tower, and behold: a glass balcony that allows you to step right outside and look at the bell tower and the rest of the beautiful city of Arnhem. Do yourself a favor and plan a visit to this wonderful building!

Unfortunately, did not have enough time to visit the church itself, but the architecture was amazing and you can see the tower from few standing points in the city center. Would love to visit it next time I'm in Arnhem.

It's a fun experience to go out in the glasbox on the side of the tower and the history about the place is told in a good way.

Such an amazing place, definitely recommend visiting. You can view the city from the 2 glass platforms at the church. Welcoming staff. Art installations are available for viewing from July 2nd.

What an interesting place, costs 15 euro each for this you can use the lift to the top of the tower and venture out onto the glass viewing platforms with amazing views if you time it right you can see and hear the bells being struck . On the ground floor you can enter the crypt and see the tombs and foundations of the church, well worth a visit.

The Eusebius church in Arnhem is a true icon. It is a big, light and airy church with still alot of it's original features. Unfortunately the lift was out of order so we could not visit the glass plateaus on either side of the spire. But still definitely worth a visit.

Absolut great view from the platforms in up to 80m height. Very special are the to glass cabinets outside the tower. No stair climbing because it has an elevator. Easy to use audio guide in various languages including German.

The church has a beautiful glass balcony easily accessible with a lift to enjoy the view of the city.

The church tour is fenomenal. It costs 15 euros and you can pay only with card. You get an audio machine, which will inform you about what you are seeing. I know the main attraction will be the glass podium, but I really recommend also visiting the basement.
