The steak cheval was excellent! Get it medium. We also ordered the goat cheese salad called: chèvre chaud it was also very good, the salad was cold while the goat cheese had been warmed nicely. The meals were great. Yet I give only 3 stars because of the service. The two of us are gluten free and when we told the server about what we would like to order and if it could be asked in the kitchen if it was safe he came back with a list of allergens... you’d think this was perfect except it was for the dessert menu. And again you think “simple mistake” it’s when we told the waiter his mistake he gave quite a bit of attitude, clearly annoyed that we weren’t just ordering food and drink immediately and being too “picky”. After finishing dinner we saw some friends at another table, same restaurant. We told him we were going to move there and again was met with attitude and he said that was not possible. So we simply paid the bill with him and moved to our friends table with the different server and sat with them. We did not order anything else after we moved.

A cosy place very close to the town square. Wonderful hang out. Good selection of wine and beer. Tasty food as well. As expected, language was a barrier to order food. Thanks to my French mates who helped me out. Awesome experience.

Great location. Great service. Very kind personnel. Waiting time in the average (20 minutes for 2 burgers). Great food. If we are again in the area we will come back for sure

Had a great meal. Personnel is friendly and the interior is awesome. They don't close during the day, wich is a big plus.

Really like this place! We had some really good craft beer, and I had a delicious entrecôte steak. Nothing pretentious but just good value with friendly staff.

Sort of Wetherspoons with a French twist. Good atmosphere, good range of beers and very good food. Bavett steak in onion gravy especially nice. Quick service too.

This is a British style public house in the middle of Arras. Food was good, had fish n chips. Did not have to wait for our food. Good atmosphere and rugby was on.

Really huge and delicious Empire State burger. Good service, nice location in town square. France playing rugby on TV but not too loud or too crowded to spoil enjoyment of one's meal.

Lovely location & service was good but we ordered a "Mister Croq" for €15.90 but when it turned up it was essentially cheese on toast with a couple of bits of ham & some chips. Incredibly unimaginative, bland & tasteless it was closer to the standard of US food than what I expect in France. My wife's salad at a similar price was a very basic mix of a few greens plus some sort of not very nice cheesy sauce. Overall great spot but there must be much better food somewhere else on the square.

What a fabulous meal for our last night in France! The Entrecôte steak was delicious as were the accompanying sauces. And the Crispy Brioche desert was just heavenly!

Loved the ambience, the food and the service. They have a big dessert menu are very good too, so make sure to try their chocolate icecream. Burgers are very tasty and menu is reasonably priced.

Really bad food, worst service. We live in the US where the customer service is amazing. Waited 2 hours for our dinner. When we asked after 1h45 why it's taking so long they said "you ordered an appetizer that's why it's taking longer". What?? After 2 hours of wait, we got our dinner which was really bad. The waitress never came to check on us to see if we needed anything or another drink. When we paid, they didn't even ask us how our dinner was. Don't waste your time and do not go there.

We went here for a family dinner, 2 adults and 3 children. The service was absolutely fantastic, when my daughter was not happy with her steak, they took it back to the kitchen and returned it as requested medim rare and profusely apologised for not getting her order correct. The rest of the family had no complaints and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The restaurant itself is very comfy and situated within Heros townsquare close to our hotel. Thank you. Would love to return again if In Arras .

V good pub food - this is our second visit to this chain and on both ocassions I was particularly impressed with the salad (I had a different one on each ocassions). Service was good - though evidently a little under-staffed, but the staff who were on shift worked incredibly hard. As well as us both enjoying the food - the beer (aka lager) was also good.

I have found that location has a lot to do with what you eat and how you feel about what you eat. The experience here is enhanced by the surroundings to such an extent it is possible that my review may not properly really reflect the quality of the food. A typical French bar/resturant serving a variety of splendid food. The staff are friendly in a French waiter sort of way and the food is faultless.

Just had a delicious meal, great service and very friendly staff definitely recommend.
