We had a fantastic time at Chez Marcel. My husband is a massive fan of craft beer and was delighted to find craft beer in Arras. The owner was extremely friendly and knew everything about the beers. There was a great variety of beers available but what impressed us the most was that so many were locally brewed. This place is a real gem and a great place to promote the French craft beer scene.

Was not expecting to find such a great beer bar in France (sorry, France)! Wide selection of beers, some French and some from as far away as Canada. My Canadian boyfriend was very pleased to find Deu Du Ciel! On tap as they do not seem to serve it here in the UK. The owner (Marcel, I assume?) is very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about beer, excellent English speaker, too! A little pricier than bars in the two squares of Arras bit totally worth a visit if you crave incredible beer on draft and a pleasant atmosphere both inside and outside the bar. Will visit again if I find myself in Arras in the future.

Amazing experience and awesome staff

Fantastic place for a beer! Expert knowledge and some different ones to suit all tastes. Get a ‘planche’ too and nibble away … once done the chocolate beet and vanilla ice cream is a must!

Terrific selection of beers and staff happy to explain them. Could have spent longer here. Hope to return some time :)

We came for one beer and we will return forever ! A large choice for crafted beer and we had an amazing plate of local goods (cheese, ham and bread). The stuff even took time to present the origin of each product so it's twice better when you know what and from where you eat. Thank you for great service and keep up the great work !

A very friendly welcome from a gentleman who was the owner I think? All the staff were smiley and friendly the minute we walked in the door. They were keen to explain all about the different beers and find some to suit our needs. We didn't eat, but the food was reasonably priced and looked delicious. We tried some beers that were lovely. I could have spent the whole evening there but we were short on time. If we are in the area again we would definitely come back! Thank you 😊
