Loved this place. It had a Addams Family-Anime sort of vibe and the bartender was a heavily pierced, knowledgeable, super friendly gal. Especially loved the $2 PBRs and ultra cold sake. My friend Nut picked out a rare Barry Manilow vinyl cut that reminded him of his (admittedly disturbed) childhood and they played it at 78 speed for him. ♥️♥️🎼🎧

Not a pleasant shopping experience. almost walked by this establishment since the opening was all black and dreary, walked inside and found it very sparsely illuminated, Lots of records but the store is very Sad, Dirty floor, dust everywhere and after looking at many records you fingers are covered in dirt! Finger tips were black! All the records had been coated in dust. They do have many records , just take your hand wipes!

Great shop! Good selection of different genres. Dude that was working was cool and friendly, Found an Acid Mother’s Temple LP and.a hard to find Magazine LP. Absolutely worth a visit if you live in Asheville or are in town for a show.

Really nice record store. It was a little too dark for me, with dimmer lights and an older vibe, but I think it would be a good place to see a show. In addition, there was a decent selection of new and old albums.

Cool spot to grab a drink, check out some vinyl, and maybe even catch a show!

Cool spot has some killer records and a bar!! Drink while shopping always turns out great! My gf loved having wine while looking around. Also the employee working there is a tough cookie with people just wondering in for no good. 😉

Such an awesome little record shop. I really like the way they have their titles arranged, they make it really easy to search for something specific. They also have a stage in the back for really small shows within an intimate setting. They have a pretty good selection of different genres, certainly worth checking out if you're in the downtown Asheville area.

Very diverse record selection and cool vibe to the place! Also good beer selection. Only downside was the bathroom smelled like the dog that wanders around the place, but you’re probably not going here for the bathroom.

Came into town to see Nick Cave peform, stopped by Static Age Records to get some Nick Cave vinyl, found a really obscure album and everyone was so helpful, welcoming, especially informed about music encyclopedia style and just can't thank them enough! Very cool and locally legendary spot!
