Already told, under good hotel, nice and clean room, there is plenty of food, the choice too and delicious!! Certainly the drinks were also very good! Entertainment every night, lots to do in and around the hotel. A small disadvantage for us, that it was super busy, at the beginning of our holiday 2 buses arrived. All in all, we still enjoyed it!

Good and big hotel, we stayed just for one night. It is like a combination of Preston Palace and the Van Der Valk luxury decor. Attached the hotel there is an activity center with all kinds of things to do (bowling, small games and entertainment like a band). The hotel service is good, rooms are okay and (walking) breakfast is well taken care of.

Room roof started leaking at 2am. Need to change room at 2am and change again the next day. Till now I’m still waiting for any kind of apology from the hotel but no words. The staff behaved like this is something normal. Will not visit again.

Hotel is fine. Has many activities for family with kids. Service was really great, every one nice. The biggest minus was room and really loud door and clima - make impossible to sleep and relax. On swimming pool is many people from outside so is always full.

I went swimming at de bonte wever with some friends. Like every swimming pool it's a bit overpriced but I must say this one has added bonuses. The steambath and the sauna. You can also grab a cup and unlimited free soda / water / juice. They have a decent snackbar nothing special really.

We visited a lot of swimning pools and this is the best among of them. Entrance fee includes unlimited drinks (coffee, tea, juice and cola).

So viel zum Thema All Inklusive.

Zwem- en saunaparadijs, de Bonte Wever Assen is a true oasis of relaxation and fun. My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed. The water park is a perfect place for families with its exciting slides and pools, while the sauna area offers a serene escape for adults.

Big hotel with lots of activities. We only used if for one night, but visited one of the restaurants and the swimming facility. Very happy with the rooms and breakfast, especially for the price! Very large breakfast menu. Also nice with free parking. We did not choose it for the swimming facilities, but a great addition if you a with kids. It is a hotel for families, so expect a lot of kids and noise, but otherwise great.

We were there for an event. The hotel works on a cashless system, so you had to buy plastic tokens in exchange for cash. The tokens payment system is a rip-off. At 3.25 euro per token, which could be halved? Half of 3.25 euros? The drinks were totally overpriced: A plastic cup ( 0.25 l ) of cola was one token, so 3.25 euros. A plate of not very nice, not even warm spaghetti bolognese or a tiny chicken skewer with lukewarm rice was 3 and a half tokens, so 12 euros each. And what could you do with any leftover tokens? We couldn't find anywhere to exchange them back for money. That's a good way to make extra money on top of ridiculous prices.

We booked tickets for the sauna, thinking the timing was from 6 to 9 pm. But on reaching, we were told that it would open only at 7 pm on 27th Dec. We checked the tickets, and they were only mentioned in some terms and not on the main ticket. We expect more honesty and clearer communication.

This is a good choice of hotel if you are looking for a short break to relax. We opted for the all inclusive package and stayed here for 2 nights. Now I think one more day would have been nice. More than that is not worth it. As mentioned from them there are enough activities to keep oneself entertained. The swimming pool is something that your kids will definitely like. The arrangement with bowling was also very nice such that you get as much privacy as possible to enjoy it with your family. Of course the food and drinks were included in the package and it was good. It's mostly the same kind of food served everyday but you have lots of dishes such that you would find something new every time. There are also nice lounges distributed such that you can always grab a drink and find a.nice cozy spot to chill out. The entry to the swimming pool and the time for bowling needed to be reserved ahead and we took care of that immediately after check in. Swimming pool access is not really an issue, but getting a time slot for bowling is. That is something I would suggest to keep in mind in case you are visiting. Also we had to wait or otherwise get engaged with some other games until we got a.pool table free. The rooms are ok, there was no wow factor. Service was pretty good coz once we got into the room and switched on the lights there were some sparks and part of the lights in the room went off. That was taken care of immediately. Also the toilet flush was not working which was also taken care of the next day. No worries there were some alternatives until then.

It's a nice place but very expensive for what it is. You could play pool (if there was a table available) or go bowling (if there was a free lane) but count on it not being available and just be walking around drinking and eating. Haven't tried the swimming area. Other than that there is not much to do or see. Can't recommend.

I cant charge my car. I wanted some help, they were very unfriendly. I do not recommend this hotel. Maybe an airbnb would be better in this area.

On first sight a nice swimming pool with a lot of potential although looking closer you will discover poor water quality and dirty yellow sides on the walls this place needs a good cleanup.

We took the all-inlcusive package for two nights. The interior of the place is quite old school and boring. Food was basic standard. They have vegetarian varieties. But for snacks option for vegetarians were limited. Swimming pool was the highlight. Room could have more amenities like a mini bar and water bottles for all-inclusive guests.

We just went for the day, to make use of the saunas and other wellness facilities. Even with the place at its most busy the staff doesn't lose their cool and keeps on top of things. The other facilities like dining and rooms seem to be top notch aswell, I definitely would recommend this place If u want or need to be in the area.

So I've only been there for the swimming pool. The accommodations were fine. The ticket price includes sauna, bubble bath, coffee, tea, soft drinks. But it was very crowded all though I had to make reservations. There were not enough places to sit for everyone. And the place to order food was so crowded that you had to wait until a table was free, or share a table with others. And that made the experience a bit more negative than it could be.

Staff was very professional and helpful. Stayed for one night, but was still very impressed by the hotel itself - there were countless different facilities, even an indoor waterpark with a pool that led to the outside pool! Only had breakfast there but the buffet had great variety and the atmosphere of the hotel was very welcoming and relaxing. The forest is right outside the hotel and the walk through it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend
