    really nice forest filled with lots of great walking paths and just overall a nice environment. always nice to see that we still preserve nature

    Have a pleasant walk from the Hertenkamp or the Bonte Wever into the wood. It doesn't matter how you walk. You will always find your way out.

    Oldest woods in Assen, very near to the centre. Lovely for a walk.

    Nice amount of geocaches located or ending here. Usually you can find a nice quiet spot to enjoy nature in, without leaving the city

    Lovely park in the center of town of Assen. Plenty of space for walking or cycling. Easy and straightforward commute to anywhere else in town

    If you want to be connected to nature, come here. If you also have a family, it would be better to bring them here. It is an awesome place.
