Istanbul Anatolian Cuisine is a nice restaurant serving traditional Turkish food. It is a bit out of the way from any of the sights in Turkey but the walk is not too bad from the Hagia Sophia area. We started with a Mezze platter that had four different dips and two stuffed grape leaves. The stuffed grape leaves were great, I would have liked maybe one or two more since we were a table of 4. The hummus has a lot of tahini so if you like that then I suggest it, if not then skip it. The best dish we had was the moussaka, the flavors were excellent, it was served nice and hot, and the cheese added a nice touch. The lamb shish was also great, seasoned well and the rice and fries were good. The Döner was okay, not one of the best we have had but it was good wrapped in the bread they give you with the appetizer. We had baklava for dessert and it was good as well, it had lots of pistachio which we like.

Ahhh this place is amazing! I never write reviews but have to for this place. Best food, best service and a cute wee street that is quiet enough. Alexander kebab was a highlight for us. So good we came back here twice! They even give you complimentary baklava for desert! You have to come here!

Good place to stop for dinner when in the area. They had a number of options and the service was very good. They even have their own resident cat Jessica who loves to join for dinner!

Dont eat there take care we get poisoning ! Probably the reviews are fake i agree with other customer! We went before 3 days with my husband and he ate chicken curry and he get poisoning. I was like with my child we ate other meat! After of that we didnt sleep all night he stomach was really bad and next morning he was sick and vomiting , pass 3 days and he is stomach is still bad our travel was really bad experience and this restaurant make that! Take care and dont go there!

This was one of our favourite restaurants to eat in Istanbul. The food was very tasty and the waiter was very friendly and chatty. You get nice free extras such as warm bread with dips like hummus. You also get baklava and tea after you’ve eaten. The reviews speak for themselves.

I went to the restaurant because of all the good reviews. I ordered an Adana Kebap. This arrived raw with soggy fries and tasteless salad. The waiter took it away and put it on the grill until it was inedible. I then had to pay for the whole thing even though the waiter said that something like that had never happened before. Last but not least, I was racially insulted and asked to give zero stars, which they wouldn't be interested in anyway. I can only recommend not eating there. The quality is underground.
