Technopolis City of Athens Cafe/Restaurant is part of " The Christmas Factory " A great place to visit with your children. The Cafe/Restaurant is a nice place with many choices of plates to chose from and drinks. Prices are fair, menu is limited but tastes good. Very recommend. 04-12-2021 5:45 pm

They have a new event each weekend, live music, watch a movie or dine in the sky... the food was delicious and the staff were awesome.

Technopolis is among my favorite destinations whenever I find myself in Athens. Whether it's an exhibition, a concert or any form of entertainment this place is ideal. The area is well kept, clean & ideal for the whole family.

A very good place to promote culture and support the various interactions with the youth. Progressiveness is apparent and interesting exhibitions are taking place as also musical events and of course not only. Social weirdness is essential in order art and culture to be sustained. Thechnopolis is that place to be.

The location and the place is an excellent example of good will from the local minister for development and improvement of the area. Well done, I've been always a big fan and will always be!

We've been to Technopolis for a Melisses concert. The venue was super organized, clean, and well prepared for all measures of social distancing. Chairs came in pairs of two, and bolted to the ground and the crew was continuously making sure that everyone was using their masks properly. Signage was good and the staff was friendly. Sound and lighting were great. We are thankful to everyone in the venue for this wonderful experience we've had!

The location (Dinner in the Sky) and view at night was lovely. You must try this if you visit Greece 🇬🇷.

Visited the IGM, a different side to Athens history, industry at its most impressive. At only 1 euro incredible value. The transformation is sympathetic making the most of the buildings where the equipment remains. If you get tired of ancient Greece give this a try.

A nice little gem to discover history of the technology from the times of Industrial Revolution. A nice shop with cool Athenian designer pieces resembling modern art museum. Good spot to lunch, and walk about as it’s central in Kerameikos district. You can find a vinyl record store there. Industrial feel. Alternative.

Great place that is actually a reconstructed gas plant. You can visit an Interactive Industrial Gas Museum, several contemporary art spaces, playing grounds, restaurants, coffee shops and very clean w.c. On its open air concert venue hosts , exhibitions, festivals, flea markets. Fully ♿ and very close to Kerameikos metro station.

It’s an old gas plant and buildings then some time ago abandoned and converted to open public place for attractions. I was there for IPMS Hellas (international plastic modelers society) exhibition and competition. That was a super weekend for me.

This review is mainly considering Christmas events there (Christmas factory) The place is very lively, full of fun activities that suits the whole family, kids and adults, there's even a place full of elfs where they assist kids to write letters to Santa in Elfish (elf language). Really enjoyed and recommend it to everyone

I had fun in the Death Disco festival. Both stages were nice. The prices of drinks were the most positive surprise. 330ml Amstel beer 2.5€ , shots 3€ water .50cents... The space reminds me of a port or a place on an island. I removed 1 star due to the lack of ventilation in the stage inside. It got SO HOT. The bands must have been in a worse situation, because the people + the lights + the position away from the door... Please add a ventilation system!!!! Especially after the global pandemic, a lack thereof poses a great risk to public health. We got tickets in advance the the people at the entrance were so friendly. A great start to a great night!

It's great to be there during the winter days, and also in the summer there are some great outdoor parties in the area around Technopolis. It's the most futuristic event hall of Athens.

  • 5/5 KOSTAS K. 4 years ago on Google
Impressive industrial style venue perfect to organise any kind of corporate event. 7 main halls of different capacities in 7 buildings, plus more secondary halls. Easy to find, close to Athens center.

  • 4/5 Mat S. 2 years ago on Google
Very nice playground the kids love it and also very nice Christmas Factory but expensive as you pay to enter and then pay for everything again.

  • 1/5 Rianne L. 2 years ago on Google
This place is abandoned. Nobody there… some people were emptying out a building. But the museum is not really maintained. There are cats and birds everywhere. You don’t know where you can / are not allowed to go (like the radio station). Some doors are open and some not. Lots of empty spaces, it was really sad to see.

  • 2/5 אייל . 2 years ago on Google
Not sure what we paid for, quite useless

Christmas Factory event, it was very entertaining! So many things yo do, to shop or to enjoy! I totally recommend this event.

  • 2/5 Dimitrios L. 1 year ago on Google
Went to a concert. By far the most tragic place. 65 euros for a smaller place than Eirodio. If the entrepreneurs knew math at Greece 😭 they should price Eirodion at 1000 euros

  • 5/5 Artjom D. 1 year ago on Google
Stylishly made over industrial area. Great place to stroll, sit in the care or enjoy the evening concerts.

  • 3/5 Nicholas G. 1 year ago on Google
Although interesting in terms of industrial history, it's not really worth it for a casual museum visit. With that said, the space seems like it would be awesome for special events so maybe check out the calendar for concerts or other performances.

Visited Athens Science Festival on Sunday 23/10. Pathetic exhibitions, unprepared exhibitors. Absolutely nothing interesting. It should be called "how make your children hate science".

One little Camden in Athens Center. If you are lucky enough to visit some of the ongoing events, them even better. Parking is an issue, consider paying 10Euros in the private parking places

  • 5/5 Andreea O. 1 year ago on Google
Very good place for adults and children. This is not just a Christmas market, is a place with games, workshops, music and a lot of fun❤️

  • 5/5 Simela K. 1 year ago on Google
So much fun for Christmas!!! (This review is only for the Christmas season)

  • 4/5 Antonios A. 1 year ago on Google
I visited for the Christmas Factory. I would say that the entrance fee was a bit high especially since they are asking kids above 3yrs of age to also pay. Facilities are good but not as taken care as they should. If it had 4.5stars thats what I would give

First time we have been here for a Lindsey Stirling live show. Place is awsome, a formal old factory with moden vibe and tons of space for enjoying a performance. Loved it

  • 5/5 Poly B. 10 months ago on Google
Great time, awesome events years round, a must if you're in Athens.

  • 2/5 Christina K. 6 months ago on Google
Sound could have been better considering you had international guests playing a gig that was not up to the sound standards it should have been. Also too many photographers documenting people dancing which was not necessary. It's okay to take a couple of photos to promote your event but it's not okay to constantly be bombarded by shots and recordings. Also next time try to not pass a "bouzoukia" message on your entry stamp. Was so awkward! Staff did a good job and were nice and kind, cheers for that.

Large repurposed area hosting many events throughout the year. Inside there is a small complex of buildings. Easily accessible by foot with 3 entrances. This area has serious space problems so driving there with a car is a bad idea.

  • 4/5 Michlerish M. 4 years ago on Google
Cool spot! I saw an open-air movie here, and could see the "dinner in the sky" table go up and down. They seem to have a ton of events happening here at all times. There were plenty of cafes selling for and beverages. Easily accessible from the metro station or walking.

  • 5/5 Mariarena T. 4 years ago on Google
Cultural place, there are exhibitions and live concerts! Generally the entrance is free and there are guide tours which describe the history of the gas which was delivering around the city in the past! That's how comes the name of the neighborhood "Gazi"

  • 5/5 teo d. 4 years ago on Google
Great place, especially if there are events taking place. For example Athens coffee festival was really nice.

  • 5/5 Stefan A. 4 years ago on Google
Stumbled upon while walking through Karameikos neighborhood. The old gasworks is an impressive and well preserved piece of industrial age history. Good place to spend 30min to 1hour if you’re attending the events.

Came here during winter & they were having a christmas village. Activities were meant for really young kids so it wasn't worth the trip for me. Great for families though.

  • 5/5 Judith W. 4 years ago on Google
Quiet place especially in the morning. Coffee bar operating with outdoor playground for little ones, not too big but enough to keep kids busy for a while. Big slide for older kids too. No cars inside the area.

A nice open air performance theater. Went for a concert. Everything was very hygienic and protected. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beer fresh! The view from below of the old, sky high vents was a plus to the place.
