The Pullman is a Kirkwood staple. It has a neat train related atmosphere, reflecting the history of Pullman yard. We ate here for the first time last week, and were pleasantly surprised. The service was pretty good. It was not super busy, as it was a Monday afternoon. And it was really nice just to sit outside and feel like part of the world again. I felt like the amount of food was really great for the price. My husband got the special, which was a giant chicken salad sandwich with a caesar salad. I got the turkey sandwich with tomato soup. I also got a Rose, and a summer cocktail. We were celebrating our post wedding weekend, so it called for a brunch drink. The turkey sandwich was great. It was hot, and toasted, which I wasn’t expecting. The combination of the turkey and Muenster cheese with the mustard they used was so good. The tomato soup was also excellent. My husband’s sandwich was enormous. We ended up having enough leftovers for a snack later. All of it was very tasty. We will definitely be returning to this neighborhood hang.

Came here for brunch but they weren’t serving it currently. Enjoyed their normal menu and Bottomless Mimosas! This Saturday morning they had a poker tournament and I was able to play a few hands. Very fun environment. I’d definitely come back.

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is so inviting and the people there are amazing. Trivia on Thursdays nights is awesome and karaoke on Saturday nights are a blast. The food and the drinks are delicious but my favorite thing: the brunch! The chicken n waffles is so crunchy and flavorful and a Bloody Mary to start? A killer combination. I love this place and everything about it. You can tell that the owners care about their staff and customers and want everyone to have a great time. Absolutely go if you have the opportunity

Great bar food and even better service. The server mentioned that there has been issues getting food delivered and the wings were smaller than usual so he brought out a bowl of extra wings without us asking! The burger was juicy and perfect. Great spot!

Took over 20 minutes to get our drinks. Martini was warm, in a regular glass and olives just laying in the bottom. Food was bland. Had meatloaf and the mashed potatoes tasted like instant. French dip was just meh. Mac and cheese tasted bland and like boxed. Won’t be going again. There was only one other table being waited on so no excuse for slow service

Good experience overall, though the server was pretty snarky with unnecessary comments on what we were ordering and didn't have the best attitude. The food came out quick and was great, just took a while to complete the checkout process due to slow service.

Fun place, you must go there! The food is yummy and they are not stingy with the portions. Great selection of spirits, w/specials. It's a comfortable place to hang and soak in that Kirkwood vibe...

I love homebar! The food, people and drinks are amazing. They offer vegetarian options which are harder to find in the city. From veggie Chicago dogs, grilled cheese and burgers to wonderful service with tasty drinks, this is a staple in my restaurant lists!

We've been going here since it was the Pullman and have always enjoyed the drinks, games, and people watching. Service has gone downhill since the ownership change. And this irritation isn't directed at the folks working, they are doing their best. Unfortunately tonight we watched one person have to work the bar, floor, run food, and effectively left to fend for themselves. Kitchen cook hopped in where they could. The owners should step up and provide better coverage. I acknowledge it's a hard market but leaving one person to handle it all is not kind to them. Anyway, my $0.02, your mileage may vary, keep calm and carry on.

Stopped in on way to event at Pullman Yards with 89 yr old dad. Excellent “Harriet’s Big Dipper” and glass of wine. Great service & food. Perfect was to start the evening hanging out with my dad.

I haven't had brunch but have come for lunch and the Gyro was incredible! They have really fun Karaoke on Saturday nights and the people (both staff and customers) are really friendly! They have a really neighborhood atmosphere and the owners work in the bar so if you go a few times, it will become your Cheers where everyone knows your name!

This place is great, but it does get busy most nights. Get there early to get your seat. They have great draws like karaoke and trivia. Go have fun tip well and they will take care of ya! Good people. 😁

This is our favorite neighborhood spot. It is the one place everyone loves! You will see families with kids having dinner to young adults having late night cocktails, even my mother in law loves this place.

This place is great! The food is freshly made and delicious. The staff is super friendly and fun. I’ve always had great service and the late night karaoke is a must! We come here once a week. They even have tasty mocktails! Get the chicken fingers!

We've been for brunch several times and dinner a few times, always getting something different. Everything so far has been phenomenal. Cocktails are well made and worth the price. Cute outdoor patio, live indoor music. Highly recommend!!

Double cheeseburger is always delicious (if a bit messy!). Chicken fingers are also great as are the sandwiches we have tried. Good beer and cocktail selection. Service has been excellent (take out and dine in), even through the pandemic. Update: Outdoor seating area is great, service and drinks are great.

My burger was so delicious. My husband wasn't crazy about the fried chicken meal. We have had better, but I still thought it was tasty. My husband really liked his beer. I ordered a Paloma. I felt there was more seltzer water than grapefruit juice. I asked for more grapefruit juice and our server gladly and quickly brought me a small jar with more than enough juice in it. I appreciated that i was able to add it to my likeness. Service was great and very attentive! I'll be back to try the meatloaf.

Order through chow now…out of fried chicken…neither restaurant or chow now notify me…end up with single order of nothing special pork dinner and forgotten coke. Will not be ordering from this restaurant again!

AMAZING place!!! We had a party of 9 on a Saturday night. The gentleman working, I'm assuming the owner, was phenomenal!! He was so welcoming to a bunch of out of towers and the food was WONDERFUL!! I even got up and sang karaoke, the dj had technical difficulties but it was still awesome. The whole vibe here is just perfect!!! If you get the chance you have got to come by this spot. You won't regret it!!!!

Great American standards with a home-y feel. Great cocktails as well. A little pricy, but you're in Kirkwood.

What a fun place! I actually walked here from Candler Park. It was a couple of miles but the area is beautiful and very walkable. The food was tasty, the staff was nice, and the karaoke was on point. Will definitely return.

Perfect spot to hang out and get a good drink and good food! The outdoor seating is still set up (hopefully it stays forever) and the atmosphere is very welcoming and chill. The staff is always friendly!

The whiskey selection is vast- drinks are made well. I've like the food here - falafel wrap and grilled cheese with tomato soup were lovely. But those fries are hard to beat! Very great - will be back.

Kirkwood is fortunate to have some great spots. The Home-bar is bringing a lot of fun and good food options to the party. Great brunch Sat and Sun. A solid recommend.

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
