My little secret in the cut go to spot....I love it here! Update 10/1/23: Food is still great .. Disappointed in the server I had. Came back to collect plates and bring the tab... And to tell me that I couldn't order the BREAD PUDDING that I came there for SMH Ughhhhh...... The main reason I stopped and couldn't tell me why not SMH.

Great experience. Got there 35 minutes before closing and still received excellent service from Essence our server. The Low Country Boil over grits and the Fried chicken with greens and Mac and cheese was phenomenal. Great drinks as well. Blueberry martini, apricot old fashioned and Texas margarita.

Good bar, food, friendly service and very reasonably priced. I had the southern pecan salad with blue cheese. If you're looking for something light that's a good one to get. My friend had the crab cake eggs Benedict which looked delicious!

The restaurant looks pretty simple, meaning nothing fancy, but clean. However, the food was amazing! Very flavorful, no skimping on spices. And be careful, because the cocktails are refreshing and pack a punch!

The food was amazing in quality. You can tell there is a little love put in the food. The drinks seemed to be interesting on the menu, but not so much in reality. I look forward to coming back and trying the bar side to get recommendations as that is how I was introduced to the bar, was by another friend who talked about bartender knowledge. I look forward to trying the fresh Trout when I come back. The tomatoes tower was amazing. There was salmon with broccoli and mac and cheese; it was superb.

It's because of Vickery's that I no longer eat the chicken sandwiches from the "eat more chikin" restaurant. Stopped here out of the blue for lunch and had a tasty, "clean", REAL chicken sandwich a few months ago. Despite it being on the opposite side of town, I've been back multiple times. I try my best to eat clean as much as possible and Vickery's allows me to do that (And the prices are reasonable 😮). I tire of only having french fries with sandwiches and I had the opportunity to have black beans and rice instead. They were awesome. Stop in if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed.

We are from WI and were hoping to try some southern food for the first time. Omg. Everything was amazing. I never paid $29 for 1 plate b4 but I gotta say I'm not that mad about it after eating it. I ordered the "low country seafood plate" and my husband got a burger and fries along with plantains, Mac n cheese, garlic potatoes. All delicious. Fries got soggy from boxes but still good. We paid $75 for all that. High end but really good. Yesterday I paid $50 for our disgusting meal i threw out at phat phish... avoid that place. U get what u pay for.

Best Brunch spot in Atlanta! There's usually no long waits because this place is a hidden gem. The grits are real, southern style grits. They have vegan options. Prices are fair. Service is excellent. Bread pudding is dangerously delicious. I love love LOVE Vickery's!

Worst service I’ve had in a long time. Our server actively ignored us because she claimed she wasn’t the person who was supposed to serve us. Although magically she was the one who had taken my friends drink order on arrival and then proceeded to serve the rest of the meal. Throughout the meal she could not remember what we asked for and had to be reminded multiple times in a mostly empty restaurant. The food was fine. My friend enjoyed her ribs and Mac and cheese but the okra and greens left a lot to be desired. The spinach and artichoke dip was disgusting but they did take it off my bill after I brought it to their attention. The only saving grace was my salad with tuna which was delicious!

Saturday Brunch at Noon was about medium capacity so we were seated right away. Very cool vibe. Server was great. Hugo cocktails sounded good but weren’t very tasty. Turkey Pita was great. Cuban Reuben was a little tough. Will be back to try more things, though!

This has become our go to comfort spot and for mean Manhattans. The food is simple but well crafted with slight hints of surprise, but no nonsense like truffles and squash blossoms. Paella and Seafood Sauté are my favorites as well as the fried chicken. They make a mean Manhattan and Old Fashion. Make sure you order the one on the bottom of the menu because look at my photo and you basically get a twofer.

Vickery's has been around a very long time, and their experience shows. The food is delicious, the bar solid, and the desserts indulgent. The soups are great. Wheelchair folks will be okay. Vegetarians will do nicely.

Food and design was great! Perfect for an intimate date or a fun group outing. Our waitress was distracted all night. We got our drinks 20 min after we ordered them and appetizers a bit after that. No one else seemed to have an issue. A table that came in after us got their drinks and meals well before us. We probably got our waitress on an off day so we will be back but it could have been a better first impression.

We haven't eaten at Vickery's in many years so we decided to stop in for a bite to eat. Walk to the host stand and the young lady at the host stand looks at us and walks away. I'm guessing the manager walks up greets us and asks how many in your party (only my wife and I). Short wait for the table to be cleaned (by the manager). She was great thank you! We sit and the young lady who didn't greet us at the host stand is our waitress. Lucky us. She takes our order and never saw her again. Our food arrives my wife enjoyed her meal my sandwich was decent but fries were cold and old. Special thanks to the waitress waiting on the table next to us for refilling our water and finding our useless waitress to bring us our check. We will not be back.

Been coming here for years. We always get the Calamari when we go here. It's the best I've ever had and my family loves it as well. Nice vibes here and the food is always good.

Food is always food. Grits were very good and creamy just a little too much pepper...but still good. The Calamari is over the top good. Seafood Saute with Grits excellent. They should take steps to let people know they cannot listen to music or shows out loud on their phones disturbing other guests. The guest behind me was letting their kid listen to a show and the music and show was so loud it wad hard to enjoy my meal. To me the Manager should be floating and address such situations. Never saw a manager coming around checking on guests. Other than that again food is always good and our wait staff was great even though I could tell she had a lot going on she serviced us well.

Vickery’s has been one of my favorite lunch time spots for a few years, that changed yesterday. I arrived at 11:30 the door was locked, lights out and an employee sitting inside rolling silverware. There was a a large party waiting outside and another party walking up. We had to wait about 7 minutes for the doors to open, we walked in the lights were still out and the gentleman asked how many and handed us menus to seat ourselves in the dark. At some point the lights were turned on. 2 servers on the floor, this was my first time sending food back. Taylor saved this visit for me as she was accommodating and apologetic. Also, thankful to the manager for correcting my order. I’m sure this was an off day.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I will definitely be going back. This atmosphere was great and the food was very good. There is the restaurant on one side of the building and a bar on the other side. So they have whatever vibe your in the mood for. Located on the East side of Atlanta in walking distance of other cafes, shops and a cute little park across the street. Had a great time! 👌👌

This place was simply amazing. The food and service was top notch. The drinks were good and the food was well seasoned. You get a nice quality for the price of what you pay for, would recommend coming here to have a good time.

Our server/bartender was really great! He was super attentive without being overbearing. We moved inside because a fly decided to go swimming in my nearly full glass of wine and he replaced it with me asking.

My Fiance and I decided to have a quick brunch with my mother on a Saturday. She had a scramble skillet, some pancakes. I had fried catfish and grits and my mother had a salmon salad. The salmon salad looked good and was reported to taste delicious. My catfish was totally bland and tasted like dirt. There was no seasoning in the batter. The grits and the biscuit they came with were good. The skillet had to be sent back since it had been sitting and was reheated the cheese on the skillet was oily and rubbery, the eggs were burnt and spongy. The pancakes tasted like they were undercooked and made from a box pancake mix. I was not charged for the skillet, but the food was still overpriced for what we ate. Our server was a trainee, but his "mentor" was sitting down entranced in his phone in plain sight, not paying attention to anything or anyone. I will not be going back to this restaurant anytime soon.

Maybe it was what I ordered. The skillet rice plate was dry!! This was my first time visiting with family and my sis n law really liked it the few times she visited. So I wouldn't mind trying it again when we're back in Atl.

I preface this by saying, I currently work in food service, and I have a great understanding for how things can sometimes go wrong and am very forgiven. I’ve never written any review until today. I ordered the grilled salmon BLT…it looked delicious, and the first bite was. However, the second bite was completely raw. Now, I know some folks eat raw tuna in sushi dishes, but I work in food service and know that partially or under cooked salmon poses a number of bacterial risks. So after I finally got the server’s attention and brought it to her attention, she asked if I wanted the kitchen to recook it. Deciding I’d had my fill of salmon for a bit after the raw bite, I said just to bring me a cheese burger cooked medium. So twenty minutes pass…the server never removed the plate with the raw meat, and my dinner companion had finished his meal. Then the most unappetizing, overcooked frozen patty I’ve ever seen was plopped down on the table, without any fries (which it comes with) because she said she assumed I’d just want to eat the ones from before…siting on a plate with raw meat on our table for twenty minutes, stone cold. I ate half the burger because I was really hungry, but I have to say I’ve had better at Burger King. The plate with the disgusting raw salmon sandwich was left on our table until the check came. I am quite stunned that the manager wasn’t sent to our table…we didn’t ask to see them because I didn’t want to be “that guy”but honestly, when something like this happens, staff should always have management involved as a matter of course. I’ve never been to Vickerys before and have heard good things, but I will never be back, not even on a bet.

Awesome Vibe! Food is awesome. Hostess is amazing!!! Wait staff is pretty efficient and moving food and customers quickly, however, there are a few that seem short on service and hospitality. Even in trying to correct issues, certain waiters brush off correcting as if nothing is their problem. Unfortunately, when you have under-aged kids with you, expedited service is a must. This is a great Sunday Brunch but please beware of possible servers who are new and not as efficient of the more seasoned servers. With prices as such, I would expect better service throughout the entire restaurant. Thanks Steve/General Manager for rectifying the issues.

Great food, friendly staff, relaxing motif complete with jazz music. Wonderful gem that we found on a walk waiting to go to the zoo. Catfish sandwich is a must.

I had one of the best experiences at Vickery's the day before my birthday and it truly helped to bring it in the right way. With a party of 2, it was a busy day for the both of us and we weren't able to arrive until 9:50 PM. I called to double check to make sure it was still alright if we showed up, and they were adamant about us coming in, despite the time. Our waiter, Eddie, only further amplified the experience. He was kind, personable and humorous. We were laughing all evening and he even provided a slice of cake on the house. Great food, great service and a great night. I very rarely leave reviews but this felt warranted. Thank you Vickery's and thank you Eddie!

It was a nice atmosphere. It was midday on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. We were seated immediately and our server was attentive. The drinks are average priced and their brunch options are well portioned. I would definitely return to check out their dinner options and their bar. The bar is separate from the dining which is cool.

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down.
