Came here for dinner Saturday night—you can make reservations on OpenTable—it was very busy and packed! The food was good but the service was lacking—our food took so long (over 45 min!!) to come out and our server was not attentive at all. Food wise—the top faves were Spaghettini alle Vongole and Ribeye Tagliata. The Branzino was okay—but a bit bland once it was butterflied and moved to a second serving plate. Service really needs to improve. It’s a cute restaurant and seems like a good addition to Hard Rock but I’ve had much better service at all the other restaurants there.

Overwhelmingly disappointed. Cold, soggy appetizers followed by overcooked pasta, burnt chicken and some tortellini that was reminiscent of chef Boyardee. Had seen some amazing reviews of this restaurant which brought us through their doors. Needless to say I wish we experienced the same. Service was attentive but clearly the kitchen is lacking.

Before I begin I must say Dear Google please change the name to Trattoria Il Mulino Atlantic City as the current name adds great confusion to actual location. Thank you. Now then, let us begin! Trattoria Il Mulino Atlantic City! Grazie Mille! My best friend was visiting AC for the first time ever back in May, the weekend before Memorial Day weekend 2021, and somehow his visit brought us here. Thank God! We took him out for a proper AC Casino night experience. We did casino hopping and by the time we were at Hard Rock we wanted to eat! Really eat! Most places were only taking their reservations and VIPs. We were hungry and tired and needed to sit down at a table. Trattoria Il Mulino was taking some walk ins...on a prime Saturday night... Thank you for taking us in! From the moment we walked in our experience was spectacular and exemplary. We come from heavy hospitality backgrounds so it is true praise to say we were very impressed and pleased in every facet. Fair warning some people may not be used to being served by an entire squadron of staff but this is the traditional service regimen, you're supposed to be waited on by this unknown number of people, at the same time. We could tell they were probably running training on new staff that dinner service but it was all very smooth and impeccable. We felt a little bad for the main server who had to announce all the specials and there were like 10 specials in every category, it was a bit overwhelming to such hungry people but our choices from the specials proved to be worth it. The food was perfect. It was quality Bolognese sauce made fresh...topped with real cheese, freshly grated in front of you. (I had a horrible experience at Carmine's earlier in the month). The Tiramisu was huge, though I would say they fluffed it up a bit with whipped cream and could have used more mascarpone. But it was huge and I actually somehow finished the whole thing. It was a great meal for all of us. The food and service made it a truly perfect end to our buddy's first ever AC Saturday night out. Thank God there still remains a quality family style Italian restaurant within the Casinos. Thank God for Trattoria Il Mulino AC!

My finance and I had dinner here Saturday night. From start to finish it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The staff goes above and beyond for you. Everything we ordered and tried was outstanding. It was such an enjoyable night out and well worth it. We didn’t want to leave but couldn’t eat one more bite. It was a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary!

Food was average. My wife had Traditional spaghetti and claims like me. My dinner was flavored very well. Her dinner bland. My son and his fiance dinners were average. Everyone gave a 10 on the cocktails and flour less chocolate cake. Coffee, cappuccino & espresso excellent. SERVICE excellent. PRICE: OVERPRICED. PRICE FIXE MENU NOT AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS,but still advertised on website. A.C. casino restaurant costs have gone through the roof. We will slow our dining out to A.C. for a while.

Shaved Truffles or not…$195 for a pasta dish (fettuccine, cream sauce, truffles…that’s it) is just insane!!! I want to give this dinner 5⭐️ but our main server was less than friendly & the price of my friend’s dinner was ridiculous. They should disclose the price of each special up front. Oh and to find out later that there was a small portion option, which was not offered, was frustrating. My filet was great & for the most part it was a great experience just be sure to ask the pricing of the specials prior to ordering.

This restaurant is the best experience you can have. The staff is exceptional. The way you are made to feel is excellent. Nadine the hostess at the front desk is spectacular! You are made to feel like you are family. Giovanni is phenomenal. He is absolutely the reason Il Molino is a must visit. Do yourself a favor and try this above exceptional restaurant and you will be a repeat customer like I am. Thank you

I don't have anything bad to say about this restaurant. The service and food were great. Only thing left on our plates were a few crumbs. We were seated quickly and immediately given complimentary bruschetta, zucchini and Parmesan chunks. Our drinks were delivered in record time and we didn't wait long for our apps or entrees. (Everything was quick but we did not feel rushed) You can tell that everyone on staff is invested in the quality of service.

This place was fantastic. Well taken care of from start to finish. Very friendly and knowledgeable server. Amazon desserts! Would highly recommend it if you are at Hard Rock or even just in the AC area

If you want to see service at its best, come to this little hidden gem. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was casual with an air of sophistication to it. I truly enjoyed it here. Can wait to come back.

If I rated this on service it would be 5 stars. We had a work dinner here and the waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. She offered suggestions and was quick with service. The food was hit or miss. The meat dishes were great and the pizza we split was good, but some of the pasta dishes were too basic and lacked flavor, especially for how much they cost. Still a nice environment and worth checking out

Amazing Experience at Il Mulino Last Night. I was there before but it felt like the first time. A team of People making your Dining Experience a Memorable one. Big Shout out to Val who as i was told was in Training but she seemed like she had been there forever. I don't think there is anything you could possible order that would disappoint. Veal parm and the Spaghetti Carbonara where Out of this world. Home Made Tiramisu did not Dissapoint. Can't Wait to make it back to Atlantic City. This is my New Favorite for Sure..:)

My wife and I had a dinner last week for first time in this location. Assigned 3 waiters for my table and had complimentary chips and bread. After a long speech about special, (even waiter can not tell us without buffering and many umm...) we ordered 2 prix fixe menu and octopus for add on. Food was good, octopus was good too, but not the best I've had. Funny thing is... once you order your food 3 waiters disappeared, just occasional pass by and say "this table is good" without ask anything??? All the warm welcomes to bring our check up in the beginning suddenly gone and never had even chance to change the utensils. I finally asked for the new utensils, but this is bad service for this kind of restaurant. Anyhow, don't bother with specials, I think just prix fixe menu is more than enough for the dinner. Overall, I have to give 3 stars due to the local diner level of service.

I decided to go for restaurant week, and would say it was worth the price. The complimentary starters of cheese, bread, zucchini, and bruschette were delicious. My appetizer was the Polpette, which was just ok, and not very warm. For the entree, the waitress recommended the Porcini Ravioli, which is supposed to come with a champagne truffle cream sauce. Didn't taste any truffle, and it must have been under a heat lamp for a little while because the Ravioli wasn't hot, the way the sauce looked, and the plate was hot. For dessert, I got the flourless chocolate cake, which was delicious. Service was quite attentive. There are two sides of the restaurant one side is much more luminous than the other.

Went on a Thursday night and had a really wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The pasta dishes we got as entrees and the complimentary apps were both delicious and came out timely. Wait staff was really attentive but not overbearing. Will be back!

The BEST on every level which is hard to do. The atmosphere is elegant and sophisticated but laid back. From the moment I sat down a server comes and offers you fresh parmesan from a cheese wheel, fried zuchinni and bruschetta. After we ordered and another server comes and offers an array of fresh bread. I had the spicy crispy bread, but the olive and foccacia looked delicious. The grilled octopus was melt in your mouth delicious! Best ever! Ceasar salad was crisp and croutons were delicious. Chicken Parm was bone in and cooked to perfection. I had the seafood pasta. I did see a review where someone complained about the size of the shrimp, I agree the shrimp and scallop could be larger considering the price and restaurant quality BUT it didn't hender from the taste and enjoyment of the dish. Espresso Matini was perfect way to end the night and cappuccino was perfect. I would go back to Atlantic City just to experience this restaurant again.

I want to start by saying the general service was outstanding. Attentive staff ensured drinks were full and offered a variety of freebies for appetizers. Unfortunately, our waiter was too focused on his own ego as a “foodie” and upselling. I stated what I wanted and he basically let me know that my order was a bad idea and instead TOLD ME he was giving me another down that he recommended because he has “good taste.” Couldn’t even get a word out before he moved to the next person. That dish was $10 more and was literally just a flattened chicken cutlet with lemon sauce (pictured.) No sides, nothing special, just a chicken breast I could’ve made at home. If I wasn’t out to dinner with a group, there is no way I would’ve stayed silent when we were asked if everything was okay. Prices were outrageous for the quality of the food. Find yourself a Bertucci’s or Olive Garden and dine like a king for half the price and same quality. Definitely will not be back. Shoutout Michael for great and attentive service though.

My husband and I have now visited this fine restaurant in less then a year and it’s highly understated when I say by far my absolute favorite restaurant. From the service to the complementary appetizers, the drinks, food and dessert. Amazing! I love II Mulino New York - Atlantic City.

We came in last night, last minute party of 12 and they accommodated us, no problem. Everyone from the hostess to the waiters were so lovely. Food was fabulous, cocktails too. 10/10 would come back to the hard rock just to have dinner here.

II Mulino was fantastic! The atmosphere was great. Staff was awesome and very accommodating. Never a lapse in service or attention to the customers but not in an annoying way. The dishes were very tasty, kuddos to the chef, portions were more than plentiful. Overall a great meal. Would definitely recommend others to experience for themselves.

Food was excellent. Portions are not big enough to share but the perfect size for yourself. Service was great and so was the atmosphere

As soon as you sit down they don’t give you menus. Their philosophy is, “let’s us give you some delicious free stuff while you order some wine or drinks and we’ll get to the menu later”. Every item we had was fantastic and the staff was perfect! Love the dim side of the restaurant. The filet might be the best I ever had.

The best filet I’ve ever had! It practically melts in your mouth, just ask for a little extra sauce for the potatoes and you’re all set!

There are 2 separate dining rooms with different lighting levels to suit the occasion. They offer a variety of complimentary options to sample before dinner starts and there were 3 different people on my serving team. It's fine dining so expect to pay for the extra service but it's worth it.
