I never thought you could make a sandwich so much better than every other sandwich I've had but this place was able to do it. Bread was just a tad hard on the outside but super soft on the inside. The hot pepper relish stuff that was on this sandwich was the best part. Mellow spice that lingers but in the best way possible. First time going here and will take the two hour trip on the future to go back

Delilah was our server. She made it a great experience. Fun and witty. The subs were amazing. Their homemade Hot pepper relish was really good. They gave us samples that we had to put on our subs. I recommend the hamburger and the Italian subs. The 1/2 sub is 9 inches and their large is 18". The place has pictures of important people who have ate there and is known all over. Definitely recommend at least going once.

Usually eat here 3 times a year when I am in AC. Bread was hard. To make it worse, I waited an hour to eat a moldy sandwich and after calling nicely, they didn’t give me a refund. So here’s the review: I’m absolutely disgusted and will not be returning. Based on the last few trips there, I noticed the food quality has been going downhill. Very disappointing , it used to be so good.

Ok, these subs are the real deal. Honestly one of the main reasons I look forward to my annual AC trips. My buddies and I hit up White House on the way in and also on the way out. On the way out, I get two subs and take one home. The large size is of epic proportion and totally worth paying close to $20 for. A single large here is similar to two large subs from other sub shops. White House subs is a local landmark, and for good reason, too. People travel far and wide to get their hands on these these sandwiches, and it's absolutely worth the trip.

After checking in at Harrah's on Tuesday for National EMS Conference, took a short ride to a place we've never been to in all the year's we have visited Atlantic City. Enjoyed 2 very delicious Jersey Shore Subs, Kit had Turkey and I indulged on the White House Special with the works including the hot pepper spread. The rolls are different from North and Central New Jersey. It's more dense, nice crunch and delicious!!!

Stopped by here and didn't know you could order online first so the wait time for a sandwich was about 30-40 mins because they were so busy. The staff was old school with their attitude none of that corporate customer service training. If someone said they waited an hour the cashier would say no you waited 20mins. I ordered a chicken parm sandwich which was pretty good not wait 40mins good but it would be good for a normal wait time at any other sandwich shop.I would go again but order ahead first

We almost always make this stop whenever we're in Atlantic City.  Can't go wrong with their White House Special.  $19.60 for the whole sub.  It's humongous, making you feel like you're carrying a yard stick.  But buying whole isn't any cheaper, value-wise, than buying half so later on we got smarter and started getting Meat Ball Submarine for the other half for variety. We've always had to wait for our orders, ranging from 30 to 45 minutes. So that's a negative. Another negative is that staff have always been on the rude side, maybe it's because they're always swamped, but it doesn't feel good to be on the receiving end of their bad manners.

White House Sub Shop is a famous no frills sub shop in Atlantic City. This sub shop has been visited by numerous celebrities and has amazing food. The cheesesteaks and Italian Subs are incredible, and the service is very good.

White House Subs is famous for their subs and with good reason, they're delicious. The staff is great, very hard working people with smiles on their faces. I've never seen a server so busy, but handles everything perfectly...

We’ve heard about this fabled spot for years. Finally made it to Atlantic City and White House did not disappoint. Two of us split a half White House Special and it was delicious. The bread, the meat and the toppings were first rate. . Service is abrupt, but who cares? There’s another location in the Hard Rock but for first-time visitors the original is a must.

I didn’t want to eat at a chain restaurant and this was the best place I could find within walking distance of Caesar’s. Great find! You know it’s great when locals frequent and talk up how often they order… simply amazing! Great quality ingredients especially the beef! They slice it all raw themselves! Great attentive service! Delicious!

Nothing fancy here. Just straight up NJ sub sandwiches, served in a very simple old school setting. Tuna sandwich was just how I like it after adding a little extra oil and vinegar!

A landmark in Atlantic City. Great little place. Decor from the 1940s. Sub was amazing. Never had that quality before. Portions are large. Highly recommended.

Love the subs. Staff is friendly service is fast and food is really good… they are in business since 1946…. Lots celebrities, enjoyed the food here

It was our first time eating here and it was a cool spot. Good vibes, good food and the sandwiches are humongous.. If you order a half its like ordering 2 reg sandwiches and a whole is like ordering 4 reg sandwiches. They are rrally good! We ate there and ordered one to go too!! I would come again. I recommend!

My Friend was visiting from New Hampshire. She had hear about wanted to experience White House Subs. I dropped her off and she went in to place the order and I rode around to find parking. It took me a few times around the blocks but came across one spot near front. There is a parking lot that you can pay $15.00 nearby though. I noticed signs in nearby business warning people not to park for sub shop. I also saw tow trucks in area. Anyway when I got in food was ready for me to eat and it was amazing.

This is my kind of place ! Food is like no other. Very friendly people. The special chopped pepper relish they use is delicious on the subs. The Wife got a cheeseburger sub and I had the Italian, both were fantastic. Went there twice on our short visit to Atlantic City. Don't miss this place.

Subs were delicious! Fully packed. Fresh. Service was fast and friendly. The dine in area is small as is the restroom, but it was so cool seeing all the pictures of all the famous people that have dined there.

Amazing subs, great quality meats, fresh, excellent bread and huge size. Cheese Steaks were fantastic. One of the best sub shops in New Jersey and probably the whole US. Lots of history here.

Been here a couple times in the last few months. No-nonsense. Excellent sandwiches. Busy. The egg and pepper sandwich wasn't my favorite last time, but chicken cheese steak was excellent. Too much large chunks of lettuce. My boss loved his Italian sub.

The cheeseateak wasn't bad but I have to say it was a bit on the thin side. For $11.25 you could go to philly and get double the meat for a little bit more.. The taste was pretty great And the bread was solid that's the only thing that saved it. I would say a little skimpy for $11.25 as I said. I had to get the whole sub to fill me up. I saw pictures from the past and it looks like they're starting to skip a little bit on the meat. maybe it's because of a cost. They're much better off just charging $15 for that bad boy and stuffing it with meat.
