Liked · The food and cleanliness are all good for the price. The staff were also freindly. The breakfast is acceptable for the price. Location is close to Acropolis and relatively close to the beaches. Disliked · The elevator can take maximum two persons which keeps the rest of the group waiting for it. The location is relatively far from Omonia square. The air circulation in the bathroom was not optimal.

Only good thing about this place was the location, central to everything in Athens. However very terrible service, went to ask for milk from the reception but was refused with the answer “the cleaners will put it in the morning”, yet we’ve been here for 4 nights and the milk has never been replaced. Horrible service. Staff need to be trained more! One cleaner said we could visit the rooftop to see the view and all we had to do was ask the receptionist, but when we did we were denied. Terrible communication between staff. Heater didn’t work either for 24hours, freezing cold the whole night!

Good location. Breakfast was good but floor needs a good cleaning Walking distance to acropolis , Placa & more The apartment didn’t have a microwave which would have been very handy instead of using the kitchen Nice terrace with tables and chairs Someone checked us in although being late on the night We had several issues with the e-keys but they were willing to help each time We added another night and they told us it was cheaper on Booking instead of doing from the front desk 🤷🏻‍♀️

We are four friends who stayed in Athens Studios for 3 nights and our stay was generally nice, and the fee was absolutely acceptable. We arrived a little before the check in time (2 p.m.) but we managed to get our room the same very quickly (we had no problem talking in English, the receptionist was very fluent in this language). He showed us the app to open the room that is very easy to use and makes you sure you don't lose it. Once into the room we found that the room wasn't very clean, actually the blankets were dirty (maybe they had no time to clean it since we got in early). Furthermore, the cleaning service wasn't very good neither the following days. The breakfast, as other reviews state, is a quite good buffet of good quality but a little bit limited in choice. Position in central Athens, near the south slope of the Acropolis, is very positive, even if sometimes a bit noisy, not a big deal in Athens. You can easily get to the metro and to city center, and also there are a lot of taxis. It is nice being near the sport bar, always cheerful and busy (the hotel offers free shots, fact we liked. Like check in, check out too was easy and rapid, and the personnel was good.

Athens Studios is in an excellent location. The Acropolis site and museum is only a short walk away as are plenty of restaurants and shopping. Staff are both very friendly and helpful. Room was perfect. The breakfast supplied was a nice surprise. It offered a great variety of hot and cold food. There is an area to lock up luggage. Thank you. Great stay : )

If you are looking for a nice, clean, and affordable place to stay in Athens, you should seriously consider Athens Studios! Within walking distance of the Acropolis, the metro line, and many restaurants, Athens Studios was a welcome surprise. The front desk staff was friendly and was happy to take care of any problems we had. One of those problems was when a member of my family who will remain nameless for their sake plugged their 120v hair dryer into the 230v circuit, knocking the power out to the rooms on our floor. We offered to pay for the mistake but they simply said, "You are our guest, don't worry about it." They also are more than happy to print out anything you might need for your trip. All we had to do was email the receptionist and they promptly took care of it. The rooms are small but the beds were comfortable. The room we had featured two different balconies. The wifi wasn't very strong, but pretty much everywhere we went in Greece had similar issues. It served its purpose though. There is a spiral staircase to get up to the rooms, but they have a small elevator you can utilize to bring luggage up and down. They also offer free luggage storage if you need it. They offered a breakfast each morning with a nice selection of items. They have a laundromat below the building, and the sports bar has good pub style food. They even offer karaoke on Thursday nights. All in all, if I come back to Athens, I would definitely book a stay here again!

There were 6 of us and we got the large top floor apartment. It was lovely and huge and best of all we had a private terrace on the roof with great views of the Acropolis. Definitely nice to see it lit up at night. Staff was very helpful and it's a very short walk to many restaurants and coffee shops and sites. We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer!

Simple and very clean basic rooms. Hot water for the shower.... all you before you go exploring. Left Luggage is handy so you can make most of your trip and the location is excellent for restaurant. It may seem busy and loud, but it's great.

A decent place! Friendly service.. Front office (reception) guys were awesome, available for any clarification. The facilities lady Ms. Olivia took care of our issues very well. She sorted the issue in the booking system very promptly. Location was awesome, just few steps you are in Acropolis. Breakfast was very tasty 😋 Overall a happy stay with family!

Amazing location, right next to the Parthenon, new Parthenon museum and metro station. The room was nice and big and has great sound proof windows.

A very nice stay with very friendly workers, not in the heart of the city center but like 6 minutes ride with the taxi to monastiraki Square, good value for money.

Very central location, easy to reach via metro in a quiet area. However, your experience depends on what room you’ll get; we’ve stayed twice, same price for both rooms. The first room was spacious and comfortable, the other was weirdly designed and cramped- you couldn’t even open the bathroom door fully without hitting the bed, while the little shampoos in the bathroom looked used. We’d still stay there again though (mostly because of the first room), it is reasonably priced, clean, and you can’t beat that location.

Enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room had everything we needed and we were able to walk wherever we wanted to go.

Although the location and the staff were great, there are few points that I would like to highlight: 1. We booked a studio, we were offered at first a different one (small sleeping room with no wardrobe, and it was very noisy during night since its located on the first floor and the bar is literally under the hotel). This first room has a very strong sewage smell coming from the drainer in the floor that was not covered! First, we addressed this problem with the receptionist who came to check the room and he mentioned that someone changed our reservation on their system. He asked us to wait for 10 minutes and he called us again to go downstairs to speak with the owner. After arguing with the owner that we are 3 persons and we are staying for 10 days and its not feasible not to have a suitable place to hang our clothes. Moreover, we empathized that this room was not the exact one that we booked. After showing the photos of the booking again and highlighting the details and the missing items, we moved to another studio located at the third floor the next day. (AP #12). The only difference that in the photos, the partitions in the shower were made of glass, but we ended up having regular curtains that were short and the water flooded every time we showered. 2. My friends and I suffered from strange bites all over our bodies, and when I googled it it was bed bug bites. Every single morning we woke up with new bites on our hands and legs. I'm definitely disappointed with the hygiene level of the mattresses. (The photo is attached). 3. My mattress wasn't that comfortable, there was a spring that was hitting my back every time I tried to lay down. Moreover, the pillows are very thin. 4. The room is somehow dark even when the light is on. 5. The hotel is very well renovated from the outside, but inside it gives you flashbacks from the late 90's. 6. The elevator is very small, it can bearly fit 2 persons. 7. The bed located above is not accessible and it's nearly impossible to climb the stairs. We kept hitting our heads and legs when moving around the room or getting out of the bed. 8. The breakfast was the same everyday.

This was a very affordable, clean, convenient stay during our honeymoon in Athens. It is not a luxury suite by any means but we wanted a more authentic feel as a local and the ability to walk everywhere we wanted to go from our hotel was worth the lack of extra amenities. They stored our luggage for free before check in when we arrived, had 24 hour reception service, and provided a complimentary breakfast buffet every morning. Our room had a bit of a view of the Acropolis which was a nice touch. It is above a bar/restaurant and is near the main strip in front of the Acropolis Museum, so it is a bit noisy but I did not find it that disruptive. I felt like I was in the heart of the city, so I welcomed the ambiance.

I booked one bed in a room of 6. Very clean, AC for hot nights outside, location is 10/10 and the breakfast is for hostel-standards very good (although I understand that for people who booked an apartment the choices might be low) Would totally recommend it for a place to stay in the middle of Athens!

  • 4/5 Vili M. 1 year ago on Google
The area is safe. It’s located very close to the city center and all the public transportation stops. The rooms are very comfortable and cozy, but the pictures might trick you into thinking it’s more modern and spacious than it is in reality. The staff is always ready to help, but at their own pace. All in all a good experience and would recommend.

Great locations plus the best breakfast included in Athens for the price. Beds are good, clean room . Sadly the shower has not door so all bathroom gets wet. Frenly staff. Perfet for young people.

Great value for money! Didn’t have view of the Acropolis from my window. Good breakfast. Tiny lift. Friendly staff. Very bad wifi from our room and found stains on multiple towels and blankets. All in all, we had a lovely stay, so leaving 5 stars!!

One of my favorite stays. Not only was it affordable, but the location was convenient and the lady at the front desk was incredibly nice.

The location is perfect, the room is basic but it has everything you need for a short stay. It's clean, the beds are comfortable and the showers are great. Aircon could be better! The staff (Nathan and the lady on the late shift) could not be more helpful!

Noisy from the pubs in the same building, „modern” on this place stopped in 90’s. Coffee on the breakfast is non-drinkin liquid. Rest there is impossible.

  • 2/5 Nathalie M. 10 months ago on Google
Don’t be fooled by the pictures. The place has an institutional feel to it! There is no carpeting or finishing touches that serve to dampen noise. Accordingly it’s very loud and noisy. The beds are uncomfortable and the rooms feel dated.

Small modern studios and apartments with view of the Acropolis! The location couldn't be better. A basic breakfast buffet is included too. Good place to meet other travellers too as they run a backpackers as well

We were a bit unsure of what to expect when we arrived. However, we enjoyed our 3 day stay. Central to almost everything. The staff were brilliant, helpful and generous with answers to 2 senior citizens. Would happily stay again. Many thanks for caring for us.

I believe this is the perfect place to stay if you visit Athens and just wanna be peaceful and also near everything. When you arrive at the building, you can already feel satisfaction. They have all kinds of rooms. I got the solo/backpacker room and there was everything I needed in the room: small kitchen with everything + free tea and coffee (sugar and milk too), clean bathroom + free shower gels (they clean everyday unless you tell them not to), mini closet (first come first serve), lockers for everyone, nice table and chairs to relax, plus my favorite, the balcony where I just stay there and get fresh air if I don’t wanna go out that day, plus the view was satisfying, you can see the life of Athens while sitting there. The place is also walking distance to necessities: food/restaurants all nearby you just have to choose which one you want, self-service laundry, haircut, metro, bus, tourist bus, rent-a-bike etc., a lot of historical places, tourist spots, and museums, mini markets, travel agencies, etc. The people and their service were exemplary, and they were all friendly, I couldn’t ask for more. All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay. It was wonderful and peaceful and even made some friends with fellow backpackers. Oh, and free yummy breakfast everyday! Yum yum! Thank you Athens Studio. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Everything was great but the breakfast didn't have a lot of options and the people from the room next door were making a lot of noise at night.

It's basically like Airbnb, you get your freedom and feel like you have your own flat... except there's a very helpful 24/7 reception desk and great cleaners. The location is right next to the acropolis.

  • 2/5 Antonov K. 2 years ago on Google
incredibly loud street, and there were NO windows. Really, just wooden blinds. It might be ok at quieter place, but not here. And it's probably quite cold there later in the winter months. other then that, WiFi was poor. On the other hand, there was nice small, but extensive kitchen in the room. Fridge, kettle, some pots and dishes. The room was clean, Place was easy to find and breakfast was ok, some muesli, eggs, bread, cheese.

The worst experience we had in Athens. The elevator is not working. The rooms, the beds are awful. Internet, you should not expect internet! Breakfast is very very bad. If you book in this hotel, it would be your regret. Do not do that. The only good thing is the location in this hotel. rest is awfully bad!

I loved my stay here. Helpful 24/7 reception, the room was great, with a kitchen, bathroom and they will clean your room, unless you tell them not to, which I found awesome. Only thing I didn't like, is that the door in the shower doesn't cover it all the way, so after you shower, the whole bathroom is a mess.

  • 5/5 Sandeep R. 2 years ago on Google
Ended up staying here for almost 12days. Location is perfect, walkable distance to most of the important places. Friendly staff. The complimentary Breakfast was pretty good as well The rooms are spacious and the balconies are perfect. The kitchenette is a bonus 👌 The vents & the shower area in the bathroom needs improvement. It's impossible to have a shower without messing with the entire bathroom. That's my only complaint

  • 3/5 Alona K. 2 years ago on Google
The location is great, but the room is quite small, especially the bathroom. We had a room with a rooftop terrace access. The best thing: the terrace is yours ans the view is great, you can see Acropolis. The worst thing: you can hear ALL the noises from outside and it's very hard to sleep, Athens is a loud and partying city, it doesn't seem to go to sleep until 2 or 3 am.

  • 4/5 Duncan J. 2 years ago on Google
Really great place to stay if you are bigger groups of friends that need an place that is in the middle of the city. With easy access to acropolis and the acropolis museum. The metro is really close to the hotel and there are som nice places to go and grab a drink. Like tiki bar. The only reason that it doesn't get the full 5 stars, is that the breakfast ist anything special and it is just a bit bland.

Vera at reception offered to chase down our lost luggage from united airlines. Yes she did and we got it next day. Very helpful with directions and explaining neighborhood. Great location close to acropolis and Plaka markets. Our room was studio on top floor great view as promised when I reserved. If you want to insert yourself in Greek culture this is the spot

An excellent stay! We spent a night twice in July 2021 with our children (5 and 6 years) and found Athens Studios perfect: close to Akropoli station with shopping and dining facilities right downstairs, very clean, modern and spacious studio and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Everyone went out of their way to help us and make sure we didn´t have to wait. A frequent traveller myself, I think Athens Studios is a large cut above the rest!!

For the price we paid the place was really good. Breakfast is fine, not very versatile, basically the same staff every morning. The laundromat is decent, I used it once, for an hour you can wash and dry and its 8 euros. The only downside is the noise. Not from the streets, it's the busy part of the city especially at night, but from the inside of the hotel. The walls and doors are so thin that you hear every word from the hallway and next rooms. Also, most of the guests are a younger population that has no sense that some people are trying to sleep. Get the ear plugs! The location is really good, you are in a 15-20 min walk from all interesting locations

Best things about this hotel is the location and breakfast. Cons includued shower curtain was too short so all the water spilled out of the shower and wet the entire bathroom floor. We were already short on towels because the next day after cleaning they only put 2 new towels despite there being 3 guests. New towels were never brought despite us asking multiple times. The cleanliness was so so, our room was not made upon arrival and the top bunk was not made and also missing a clean towel.

The bed are super comfy and the location of the hotel is just great for visiting Athens. However i was disappointed when I saw the "kitchenette", which is basically just a sink in the room. Not possible to cook anything. Also the breakfast was very very very bad: too sweet jam, bad bread, and very limited food. Finally about the staff: it varies a lot. the first we arrived we were super happy to have such a friendly greetings. However the last the person was very unfriendly (maybe because she was working the night shift?)

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. PROS ● Located in the Plaka District, this hotel is close to everything. Most attractions within walking distance. Acropolis Metro Station 3 minute walk from hotel ● The staff are great. JAMES from breakfast was the star of the show. KATIA from front desk very knowledgeable and helpful. EVS EMPLOYEES were superb, especially Jenny & Charity. ● Laundromat on premises was very handy ● Breakfast was free with stay, and VERY NICE in my opinion. There were plenty of options available ● Despite the small size, there is an elevator ● Beds SUPER COMFY ● The Hotel smells and looks clean ● Tons of Restaurants and Shopping adjacent to street ● Loved the doors that opened, letting in fresh air ● Great Kitchenette-Stocked with basics. Nice sized refrigerator. No microwave CONS ● This hotel is located on a VERY busy Street. The NOISE made it very hard to sleep. We were in Room 10, on the busy Street side. The noise was very loud until at least 2am every night - including week days ● The Wi-Fi was below average ● The Rooms don't look like the do on Hotels.com. KATIA checked us innand acknowledged that the 3rd party websites tend to show the ' Very Best Room'. She did move us to a larger room upon check in ● Hotel TV is very small- but probably not issue for most people visiting a city with so much to do! All in all, we had a good stay! The noise was the biggest issue for us.

Great place to stay if you're on a budget and want to reach the Acropolis in a couple of minutes by walk. However, you could hear all the noise from neighbouring rooms.
