Came in here for breakfast as after looking at and reading about other places nearby this seemed like the best option. I was not proved wrong. It was well worth it in respect to both food and service, and though not busy it was a nice place to sit in and enjoy breakfast. I chose the Goode Breakfast which is your normal big breakfast with everything you'd expect in it , enough of it and good value for what you pay. As for the service , that too was very good. The young Asian waitress who served me by the name of Evelyn was very welcoming and attentive in her service. Taking order in good time and delivering to table , then checking all was okay during my meal. And one of the most important things she was always smiling, which can be seen even when wearing a mask.So all in all would recommend there for breakfast...very good all round.

Always delicious food at this Goode Brothers. A little delay with having someone come and seat us but once that was sorted service was quick and the food was scrumptious. We ordered spaghetti bolognaise and I had tiger prawns that were fabulous. Cocktails were wonderful on a hot summer's day. Highly recommended.

Came for a work dinner here recently; It was a shame that the pizza oven was broken and so quite a few items on the menu were cancelled for the night- it would’ve been nice to have prior notice of this inconvenience. However, service was great thanks to Bree and Hannah! The food and drinks were also super yummy. Special thanks to chef Victoria for her delish platters! :)

Great food. We booked and they put us outside, when we preferred inside they accommodated. We appreciated this. Just remember to specify when you book for inside or out. They were very busy on Mother's Day. Our waitress was Lotte! Great service from Lotte and helpful staff!

Five stars! The pasta options here are great and I especially found the seafood very flavourful. My man Russle made sure we were always checked upon.

Had a beautiful dinner out with hubby by the marvelous Chef Logan and his crew. My dish was super tasty and my peach ice tea was also nice and cold. The perfect combination and good vibes. They were really busy but I'd still come back again. Love the seating next to the kitchen for great entertainment. Husband said it's the best burger he has ever had at a restaurant. Delicious thick pattie and not dry at all. Definitely would recommend coming here with friends and family.

Good first time here. Atmosphere was nice warm and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and super friendly. The food and dessert was tasty and cooked well however the chips sadly were dry and coldish bit disappointing there but overall good service and had a good time. Will be back and will recommend to others.

My husband and I were gifted a pizza cooking experience. It was really enjoyable, made our own dough (to take home), pizza, a cocktail and calzone (dessert). Food tasted so good. Chef Logan was a great instructor. Friendly and patient. Highly recommend the pizza cooking class, but definitely keen to return and try other items on the menu.

Definitely loved the experience and food was 10/10. Ordered a lot of the pasta dishes but the special #6 with Fettuccini was a seller for us, thanks to Bree and Sharlyn for recommending, and Chef Reuben for creating these fulfilling dishes.

The service and waiter was outstanding but the food was below average. A bit disappointing for what you pay. I could of gotten better food from hells pizza. I was expecting Italian food full of flavour but instead everything was bland and boring.

I just love the vibe, the music, the groups of people having a drink and a laugh and when dinner time comes its pack and all the food looks amazing and trust me taste amazing. Growing their own herbs and using it as flowers on tables , brilliant. Awesome staff , friendly and attentive . beer is ice cold and wine is served in two sizes .. a job well done

Great dining experience on a weekday lunch time. You can reserve a table online easily and the decor is modern. Lots of options on the menu. From Brunch favourites, to main meals, to salds and pizzas. Food came out quickly and was appetising.

Came here for pasta making as part of work team building, highly recommended & kudos to chef Logan doing an awesome job! Definitely will be back & recommen to others!

Always nice coming here, only fault was the burger was a bit boring and not much to it. Chips and cocktails were great though. It was our second time being served by Deedee, she is always lovely and provides great service!

Great evening at Goode bros with cocktail making followed by pizza made to your own specifications from scratch and then to crown it all off, desert pizza again made by you. Only downside was only one bill per table which was weird as u are seated with a random group Overall great fun and a lovely evening thank you Logan

Hannah was perfect in her service and answering questions. Scott cooked me up a delicious eggs on toast with mushroom. Beautiful brekkie and wonderful service. Jaanvi made an excellent coconut latte coffee! Well done!

Dined here on a date night, was very busy with a good atmosphere. Service was good & food arrived in a timely manner. We shared the family seafood platter, was delicious but personally I don't think cheese has any business being on top of a cooked mussel. The Nutella calzone was nice, full of marshmallows. Would definitely return. 😊

Awesome service, great ambience too. I ordered the Famous #6 in penne then the lady came back saying the penne is out of stock, so I opted for gnocchi. It was very creamy and filling. My friends ordered chicken parmigiana with fries. The fries is so so salty it was not eaten at all.

Helpful and kind staff and the food was ready quick. Atmosphere was good. I ordered the gluten free pesto chicken pizza and is was pretty average. Paying $29 for it, I wouldn't return.

I did a last-minute table booking (less than an hour away) for me and my son. I mentioned that it was his birthday and I didn't expect anything to come from it... When we arrived, I gave the booking details. The man (mamager maybe?) looked at the booking screen, gave a genuine s.ile, looked at my son for a handshake and wished him a Happy Birthday and put all his attention on Riley (son). He ushered us to our table, and on approach, I noticed a small chalkboard at our table saying "Happy Birthday Riley." This went way above any expectations I had with celebrating his birthday. Our waitress treated us like we were the most important people there, and our time at The Goode Brothers (NorthWest) changed from just 'having a meal' to having a very enjoyable, personalized, and absolutely unforgettable experience. Thankyou to everyone who was involved with creating such a great memory. You all went the extra mile, unprompted, and off your own back. I really can't give enough thanks to you all. You made this Birthday dinner significant. I was not expecting much when I booked, but when we left after filling our bellies with top-tier food, cooked by your top-tier Chefs, we honestly felt like kings. It was a perfect way fo my son to bid farewell to teenage years. I will definitely be back

Lunch date! Great service from the get go, and throughout our whole dining experience. Covid protocols are in place so make sure you have your vaccine pass handy. We chose a day where it wasn't too busy, so it was nice to have some space between us and other diners. Aircon made the indoor eating enjoyable. We chose our own seats. There were water bowls, treats, and blankets available for your furry family members if you so chose to bring one along, tick from this animal lover! Although we didn't have children with us, there were crayons and paper available to keep children entertained while waiting. A range of vegetarian or gluten-friendly meals available. We had: - Loaded burger - Make your own salad (spinach, tomato, onion, cucumber, chicken, mango dressing) - Panna cotta - Nutella calzone - Lemon lime bitters Salad had fresh ingredients. Was delicious and refreshing. Would easily order again and mix up the ingredients. Burger meal got the tic from the other half with a delicious mix of ingredients and flavours. Fries were a nice touch with aioli. Panna cotta was layered beautifully with strawberry pieces and had just the right level of sweet and tangy. Nutella calzone was huge, this is easily a 2 person dessert, and is very rich with small serves of ice cream. So unless you're a chocoholic, I wouldn't take this on solo! Overall great pricing, service and atmosphere. Would return (and maybe end up on the 'Regulars' wall!)

disappointed! 7 adults and a child so big bill …. I will start with the child’s pasta..bland expecting our child to have no taste buds 🤷🏻‍♀️ stodgy and tastes like a mouldy fridge, overcooked and nasty. The only positive with this dish is they agreed not to charge us. The Rib Eye steak was under cooked and unpleasant on the pallet, my poor taste buds, this cow was killed in vain. The lemon lime and bitters that was intended to wash down my rib eye was too strong, some lemon and lime to compliment the bitters would have been nice. The over priced seafood platter, my biggest regret. Why give me frozen fish when the Auckland harbour is around the corner, flaky, dry and the nasty batter couldn’t even cover the stink of this. 4 chilli prawns w no chilli the best part was the cherry tomatoes they reseted on. The prawns twists were reasonable then again thank you gilmours. The calamari in the seafood platter plus the one ordered on the side was just clumps of flour falling of and bursting in my mouth, unpleasant. The best part on this dish was the aioli. We ordered the side of chunky cut soggy unevenly cooked fries to go with it, again the aioli saved the day. We also ordered two chicken burgers. Had no taste, the friend couldn’t even describe it, it was grey. One had a flat coke no zero and the other coke was on point The lamb salad with beetroot was great il give them that. Only dish that was left clean however we did have to re-toss the salad to find the beetroot. In conclusion the french martini, the aioli and the beer were the only saving grace. Need vegan option on the menu. We weren’t going to risk it with dessert.

It's usually busy and understaffed for the capacity of customers to floor staff. Food is small in size especially for their cost and only average at best. Plating choices were terrible, especially the ribeye steak that was served in a bowl on top of chips. Cutting into the steak wasn't ideal and the bowl would tip if you cut anywhere but the center. Heated outdoor seating and blankets available for colder seasons or late night dinners and makes for a nice atmosphere to be out enjoying the sunset and/or lights.

Overall was good but my meal was a bit average. But the corn fritter has more spring onion than corn. Couldn't taste anything else but spring onion. It was more like a spring onion fritter. The photo was of the part that was more corn 😂 never seen a corn fritter like this.
