I have came at this restaurant not only to enjoy a meal, but also to officially submit my resignation after spending three fulfilling months working here. Regrettably, my visa restrictions limit my length to this duration in any given establishment. Nevertheless, I must emphasize that I have never encountered a more exceptional employer throughout my professional life. If you seek an establishment that delivers exemplary service, delectable cuisine, and wholeheartedly respects and cares for its employees, then you have indeed found the right place.

Had a great experience when I went in for lunch during the week. Ordered a Cajun burger and a coffee and received both pretty quickly. The kitchen is open and you can see all the action while you wait for your food. The staff seems efficient and ready to help out. Good coffee too!

The staff here are really friendly. My wife ordered the halloumi salad and I ordered the beef burger which came with fries. Wife said the vinaigrette was super tasty. The burger had a fried egg which made it really good. It was a little overpriced but still really good.

I dropped in after lunch to spend my one hour leisure. I was warmly welcomed. My coffee was served in 2 minutes, with a decent quality. They close in half an hour but I didn’t feel rushed to make last order. This places makes me feel really comfortable.

Somewhat disappointed as we went there to have “Centro waffles” after reading some great reviews. But when we saw the menu, there is no waffles at the place now. We ordered some other food which we found moderate. The staff was awesome and helpful. Recommend to visit at least once. Thanks.

I knew I was going to leave a five star review as soon as I walked into his place. First thing I noticed was the welcoming and warm decor of the place. Very attractive, setting, and attention to detail. The second thing that became apparent was the warm, welcoming smiles and attention from the staff, who were very friendly. Was a bit chilly at 7:30 in the morning with the doors all open (could have done with the doors being closed for a few heaters on to start, but it soon warmed up whilst we were dining.). When I talk about attention to detail, it’s right down to the cast iron teapots that serves the Earl Grey that we asked for. Both the Earl Grey tea and a long black coffee were really good. We were even offered an extra teabag by the friendly staff if it wasn’t strong enough. The toilets tastefully decorated with nice dark glass mosaic tiles and very clean. The food arrived in good time. I had scrambled eggs on mixed grain toast with a side of bacon. My mother had a bagel avocado. It’s the first time she has tried a bagel anywhere. Bagels normally have a slightly tougher exterior which she struggled with initially. The attention of Staff noticed this, and immediately offered her a lighter muffin to exchange free of charge. I thought this was very kind and worthy of a mention. My plate was delicious. , I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back to try lunch or dinner.

The service was great and the quality of the food/drinks were great. Loved the French Toast. The bacon omelette wasn't to our liking though. Although I think this was due to personal taste. Overall a great cafe!

Restaurant was a bit dirty, unsure if due to staff shortage. Korean chicken had too much sauce, even all over the salad. Salad was average, too much sauce also. Fries portion was massive and we eat a lot but had to leave half. Not great experience

I had the bagel breakfast here and I'd say it's one of the best I've had. Packed full of flavor and expertly presented. Only thing I would say for improvement is to have serrated knives available to cut it easier. Otherwise, that and coffee is top of the line.

I love the food here! They have never disappointed me so far. The place looks cozy and charming, also the staff are very friendly.

Visited twice a day. Really enjoyed the first cup of flat white in the early morning and then back for lunch. Bacon Egg Benedict was really good and the hollandaise sauce tasted amazing～the portion of slab bacon bagel was too big to my friend😂 anyway the atmosphere there is vibrant and we felt very well catered to.

Warm welcome from staff but it was quite difficult to attract the staff’s attention during our time here and they had to be waved down. The cafe is bathed in morning light which is perfect for winter. Lovely atmosphere and it was relatively busy too. Parking is paid during the week which is a negative but during the weekend (when we went) it was free. I thought it was more expensive than other cafes in the area but overall we enjoyed breakfast here.

There is street parking with pay meter parking . As I approached the store i liked there was out side table seating . Nice casual cafe it has its own character atmosphere is relaxed 😌. I ordered the smoke salmon omelette 😋 delicious and also the full kiwi breakfast Absolutely satisfied Cabinet food.. check my photo's fresh and tempting. 🚻 ♿bathrooms are great clean and stylish Service was good Definitely coming back again

One of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to every single time we passed takapuna this is one of our stops they got a variety of food options and its a open kitchen so you’ll see while your food is been prepared highly recommended got to know that soon they are planing to add some now dishes cant wait to try them. Best Belgian waffle I have had in my life. Compliments to the chef—we don’t have a cafe in Southern California like this.

This place is excellent. If you know about coffee this is where you should go in Takapuna :) perfect long blacks and flat whites (made with a La Marzocco) and the food is awesome too. We came here to work and to hang out and to eat great eggs. Always happy with the service and experience. On the same trip we also ate at Street Organics - the food there is good but the coffee isn’t on the same level as Centro. Trust me.

Nice place, great food, and friendly staff. We definitely go back there all the way from glen eden whenever we have the opportunity.

The prices are OK and the coffee (Mocha) was good. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast and it was pretty good. I will have to go back and try other dishes.

Very disappointed. Struggled to find a table that wasn’t sticky and covered in food crumbs. Coffee arrived 3/4 full in the cup, “toasted” croissant and sandwich were both stone cold in the middle, and arrived with a lump of charcoal burnt cheese on the side (attached from the clearly filthy sandwich press) - really poor. Won’t be back

We were having a very nice brunch, unfortunately after a couple of hours I started to be very very sick, my stomach was upset and I spent pretty much whole afternoon at the bathroom. I am concerned I have been sick from the Keto cup as it was the only food and drink (Citrus lover juice) I had since the last night. Maybe try to avoid food from the cooler . Otherwise everybody was very nice and place was packed.

Hopefully more staff will become available as lock down lifts, unfortunately for us it took some time to be served, and drinks were not requested when we sat down. The hot drinks were more water than flavor. The food was ok, and some items were missed but were quickly provided by a different waitress who was very helpful, but overall it seemed pricey for what we got.

Had a great meal good portions and tasted fantastic, bacon was a bit over crispy though, and coffee needed much more improvement was looking forward to it because they use ‘flight coffee’ overall good hospitality below average coffee and great food.
