I had the worst experience at this bar. I ordered an expresso martini, she charged me for 3 and proceeded to make 3 for us but they were completely undrinkable so I took 2 back to the bar but the bar manager said I can’t swap them for anything else even though they cost over $50. I wouldn’t even bother going to this bar or supporting this business as they were completely rude and disrespectful. You will be wasting your time going here and I would be giving minus stars if I could. I am completely disgusted in how I was spoken to as I have never been so disrespected in my life. As we proceeded to leave we were verbally abused by people inside the bar not knowing the circumstances of the situation. NOT a place to be for any entertainment or enjoyment as the energy is to sour for that.

if i could give this bar 0 stars i would, worst experience ever. bar staff were completely rude, ordered some drinks and they tasted so bad they were undrinkable so we took them back and asked for something else. bartender came up to us and spoke extremely disrespectful to her. did not offer a new drink, told us “we paid for it so i’m not giving you another one” even though it was undrinkable. Absolutely disgusting service, do NOT recommend

Big servings sizes, really good flavour and an awesome first table experience. The chicken and mushroom pie is highly recommended. Would come back.

Absolutely LOVED this Restaurant / Pub for Lunch - we all had such yummy food and love the VIBES - from chch but when we are back in Auckland we will definitely go back - Thank you

Nice steak. Beef roast slightly dry. But overall are well above average. Will definitely go back again

Good place for a catchup with work mates. Has outdoor setting. Bar snacks were nice. Staff were good. Went midday Sat and had a good cilled out time. Has a pool table which is always fun.

The mixed grill was sooo good and so filling steak cooked perfectly the guiness was good. Kilkenny was unavailable due to supplier issue not the pub its self great staff great atmosphere.

First time here and we loved it. Food was delicious and piping hot just the way we like it. Steak was amazing perfect color on the inside . Service was lovely as well, staff were very attentive and came to check up on us throughout our meal which was great. Price is very reasonable for generous portions. We will be back .

Come here at least once a month for food and drinks. So far, I have tried half the menu lol and have not been disappointed. Staff is always friendly. Next time, I will take pics 😊

I had chicken schnitzel, with egg, chips and coleslaw. Good portion and very delicious. First time there great experience. The waitress always checked to see if we needed anything. Wonderful customer service.

Great value, meals were massive and delicious. Steak and Guiness pie went down great with a superb pour of Guiness on tap.

Forgot how much I like this place. Used to frequent the place when Contagious played there. Food today was great. I'll be back to party with the live band again one night.

I was not a fan of their calamari but everything else I was pleased with. I do know that they are capable of doing better. Love the atmosphere though. Great decor. Service is also great .

Popped in the other evening for a beer. Lovely venue, quiz night was on. Unfortunately I waited for 5 minutes to be served at a bar that had no one queuing up. Bar lady saw me and carried on filling up water bottles. Host responsibility is important, but she looked at me and carried on finishing the task. You know what, I don't mind waiting but a "hello," and a "wont be long" would not have gone amiss. When I ordered my drink she seemed inconvenienced and puts the glass on the bar roughly and spilling a little. I'm not going to hold that against this establishment, and I get it. Hospo is stressful. I had a stressful day too, and wanted a quiet one, but was left feeling a little unwelcome. I've had great experiences here years ago. Hopefully this does not turn into a pattern. Probably a one-off.

Popped in for a meal, the staff were quick and friendly, I ordered medium rear, and that's what I got, A pint of the black stuff, great start to the new year. I will return for the beef and stout crockpot mmmmm.

I recently visited Doolan Brothers Pub with a group of colleagues for a colleague's last day and had an amazing time! The service was top-notch, our server was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere was lively and upbeat, making for a great environment to catch up and celebrate. The food was fantastic, we all had different meals and everyone was impressed with the quality and flavors of their dishes. The pub's menu had a wide range of options to choose from, including traditional pub favorites and more unique dishes. The drinks were also great, we enjoyed a variety of beers and ciders. Overall, Doolan Brothers Pub exceeded our expectations and we had a fantastic time. It's the perfect spot for a night out with friends, a special occasion, or even a business lunch. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and service in a fun atmosphere.

The pints of Guinness in this establishment are absolutely delightful, I highly recommend going here and drinking as many of them as possible, the staff are good craic too.

Great food, cozy ambience. Cleanliness was on par. Great work team. Keep up the good work even though it seemed like you a short of staff.

Nice place to have a drink meal or watch sport. Some nights and afternoons they have entertainment. Downside the Sunday afternoon music was very loud and could not hear friends talking but music was good.

If your looking for good service and food, look no further. The only thing better than the food and decently priced beveraginos was the service I received from Nui, her recommendations were spot on & her energetic vibes were second to none. You can tell she has seasoned knowledge of dealing with a variety of customers & catering to their needs with a smile on her face. Will defs be back soon to enjoy some banter & 5 pints 😂.
