What an amazing gallery of local art. There were so many piece my wife and I were interested in and the girl behind the desk was very friendly and helpful, even contacting an artist about a piece we were interested in. The gallery is easy to find just behind all the restaurants by the water and was right next to the hotel we stayed in. Fine selection of wood carvings, pottery, paintings and jewelry. Prices may seem high, but they are one of a kind works from local artists, and in the range you should expect. If you're more interested in "tourist" aimed art, that can be found all over town on a tight budget (I suggest the Auckland War Museum).

Back again to this gorgeous place. Couldn't recommend higher. Get all your souvenirs and gifts here before you go home!

I just walked in here & Messini Palace (Ngati Apakura) the artist was in the store and was so lovely sharing her story with us. I was gifted this amazing ring and bought another two pieces. This is a don’t miss experience in Auckland!

What an experience with all the tiki and lots of Māori talent exhibited. Highly recommend for pounamu if looking for a piece. I followed Artweek in The City Centre map to find this absolute gem of a place. Real, authentic souvenirs of New Zealand are here at varying prices to suit a range of tastes. Authentic and quality Maori art, jewellery and homewares. Dont go here if you want cheap tat as you wont find it here. Also staff are lovely and helpful. It pays to give yourself time to look around as doing a couple of laps around the store you keep seeing new things.

Quite a small yet packed gallery, there appears to be some very nice items in here. Unfortunately a Sunday for me, another couple already in the gallery. The assistant spent around 20 mins studiously ignoring me. I'll have to find somewhere else for a first time visit rememberance.
