Poor coffee, below average food, run-down outdoor area and confused, bizarre service where you are told you can't order from the counter, then watch everyone else do exactly that. Then you have to queue for an age to pay because they have one person trying to do 10 things at the counter, like cutting cakes etc. Why is running a cafe such a mystery to some operators?

Absolutely delightful fish and chips. The sandwiches were lovely too. Would recommend and return. The service was fantastic. The only hiccup was no changing table for our little one in the restroom.

Relaxed & unpretentious. The place has character - from an antique Singer sewing machine converted into a table for one, to the ornate, pressed copper bar artwork featuring a Motocross tableau. Consistently good fare, with lovely cabinet sweets, and excellent burgers. They also allow allow patrons to sample a prospective wine, before ordering a glass. A local fav!

Had late lunch here today, and coffee. The Chicken Salad was fresh and full of flavour. I also had an oat long macchiato. The coffee was a little bitter, not really to my taste (espresso extraction too long but I’m a barista so I’m picky but otherwise it was fine) and the foam lacking body. Service really good however— the lady who served me was very friendly. Pretty place, would come back for sure.

Quite expensive but amazing dishes with great ingredients and generous portions. I got the Bang Bang Tofu salad and it was so delicious and fresh. I loved the curly chips and thought it was a good portion for the price. Friendly service as well!

Poke bowl for lunch! Everything I wanted and beautifully presented. Followed by a slow mosey down the wharf.

It was a great experience. Food was good with reasonable price. They were quick as well. The services were not bad all all. The menu has variety of food including a all day breakfast. The drink list was to my surprise as well. I had a great time.

Friendly and efficient staff. Chicken was dry. Noodles instead of zucchini would've been tastier. The sauce that came with the dish was nice. The salsa tasted as if it was from a jar. The beans tasted like it was from a can. The chips were warm and crispy. The aioli was a bit cheap tasting. However despite these shortcomings it was a welcoming café with a variety of menu and drink options.

We visited Corelli’s cafe for lunch and we will be back again! The service, food and location is amazing. Our table got the Halloumi salad, burger and the spaghetti and it was all perfect. The carrot cake is 😍 wish we got a picture but we all ate it within 2 minutes - it’s THAT good!

Came for dessert and coffee with my sister. I personally found the desserts to be too rich and so I unfortunately could not finish them. We also ordered two hazelnut hot chocolate’s but could only taste hazelnut in one of them. The service however was good and the staff are lovely - especially after we accidentally walked out the bill and had to scurry back quite ashamedly to pay. I will definitely return and perhaps try a different dessert or something savoury.

Our dining experience at Corelli's Cafe for food, service and atmosphere is a very well deserved 5 star! We recently visited Devonport to meet up with a group of family members who had travelled up from Christchurch. Corelli's was the perfect chosen venue and as we settled for an outdoor dining table, from the very start we were genuinely made to feel extremely welcome by Bronny - such a very caring staff member. It was a lengthy visit as it had been quite some time since we had last met in person. Amongst ourselves we all shared positive comments relating not just to the quality and range of food available, but the attention to detail offered by excellent staff members. The cafe vibe was uplifting; we found the atmosphere extremely positive. We are very happy to share that Corelli's is definitely a cafe well worth your visit!

A total fave. I live in Papakura but when friends visit I travel all the way up to Devonport to have this awesome cafe experience. Fave big breakfast in Auckland. Really friendly staff and it reminds me of the beautiful ‘local’ cafe I love at home. If I lived close by, Corelli’s would be a regular. Thank you, team!

Good food and good service! What else would you ask for? Prices are reasonable and servings are big. It has a good location and you can sit inside or outside. Located just below Mt. Victoria/ Takarunga so it is a nice go-to food after a trip to the summit. The salted caramel slice is a must. Really good homemade one.

One of our go to favourites in Devonport. Great value, food is always delicious, staff friendly and down to earth. Prices are very reasonable and atmosphere really good. It’s a great local spot, unpretentious and relaxing.

Great place for lunch / dinner in Devonport. Fries are great and beers are cold. I always come here in the afternoons (preferably sunny afternoons) - the sun, whether summer or winter, always finds its way to the Corelli’s patio. Love this place.

I absolutely love it here, the food is amazing- the bang bang chicken salad is my favourite I get it every time! It has such a warm homely feel, the food all gives that delicious home made healthy vibe and the staff are all so lovely and warm I can’t help but smile every time I am welcomed inside 😊

Great food selection, plenty of seating options for large or small groups. Nice outside seating area. Very friendly staff who didn't need a number to know who you were and what you ordered even though they were very busy.

Staff are super friendly. This is the cafe me and my husband go to the most. Their eggs benedict is amazing and never fails to satisfy us. It's quite a drive from our home but worth it. Parking can be tricky, especially on busy days

What a great find! I had a poke bowl this morning and it was by far the best I had in Auckland. Being from Italy, I was looking for a place like this, oozing European café vibes. Lots of character, good coffee and food, and friendly service - I will definitely come back!

My wife and I love this place. It's one of the popular Devonport cafes due to their friendly faces and delicious food. My wife and I split the Eggs Benedict with mushrooms. I also added a couple hash browns.

Went here for the first time today, great coffee and staff, I had the creamy mushrooms and bacon, best I have had in years, my friend had there big breakfast which was massive and look delicious. And apparently was also extremely good. definitely worth the drive from the city. easy parking and relaxed friendly atmosphere. definitely will be back.

I had the tofu burger and it tasted great. Plus, the servers were some of the friendliest people on earth 😊. We had a nice experience dining here.

We probably should own stock on Corelli at this point. We are faithful early morning daily visitors. We love the staff, baristas and passion fruit slice. Great smashed avocado toast and yummy bliss balls and scones. Soooo much great, healthy food to choose from and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. Fave!

Oh my god .... Foodgasm ..... We ordered the Byron Breakfast ($24.80) which consisted of ....Grilled salmon with avocado, spinach, poached eggs with wasabi mayo and roasted tomato on sourdough toast. IT WAS TO DIE FOR. huge portion so good value for 💰🤑 ! The Salmon was cooked to perfection, they nailed the poached egg. The sourdough was delicious 😋 and the addition of wasabi mayo was genius!! Every bite was heavenly !! My Soy Mocha was one of the best I have had and I drink cafe coffee every day of my life and the chocolate brownie was just the perfect end to my brunch !! Can not wait to return and try other dishes !!

Made a booking to treat the fam. Once we got there they didn't have half the menu items available. Walked out... We'll try them again in the future but the first impression was disappointing and very stressful as I wanted to give my visiting family a good first impression of New Zealand but Corelli's was a bit of a fail

Again I had the pleasure of enjoying the food & atmosphere in this wee gem of a cafe today. I have been coming here for several years now & even though I have the same meal every time (Eggs Benedict with Salmon & Mash) with either a Shandy or an Iced Chocolate, they have always been delightful & the meals so yummy. The young lady who serves me & who has been there for some time now, has consistently proven her worth with her friendly & efficient manner. Sitting in the outside courtyard under the umbrella by the plants & flowers listening to the birds chirping away is a treat & a way to enjoy a wee piece of quiet time that I always treasure. Thank You ..

Our iced coffee and smoothie came out amazing. A perfect place to rest our legs after a long walk around the port. Customer service was impeccable; the staff was so lovely and generous. We had a pleasant visit to the cafe in Devonport. Absolutely worth the visit!
