I've
grown
up
visiting
the
Cheesecake
Factory
and
even
spent
New
Years
there
once
with
friends
because
they
threw
a
party
at
the
store
I
frequented
back
home.
However,
I
think
this
visit
marks
my
last.
I
had
a
gift
card
and
thought
I'd
treat
myself
because
I
have
such
fond
memories
of
this
place
back
home.
My
waiter
was
great,
and
I
found
a
table
in
the
bar
area
quickly
because
there
was
a
huge
line
for
tables.
I
wasn't
too
hungry,
so
I
ordered
an
appetizer
he
recommended
and
the
pumpkin
pecan
pie
he
suggested.
My
appetizer
was
generous
and
delicious.
But
when
my
pie
arrived,
it
looked
like
it
was
sliced
in
half
of
a
normal
piece
of
cheesecake.
I
complained
to
my
waiter,
and
he
shrugged
it
off,
so
I
thought
I'd
try
it.
I
don't
recommend
this
flavor
unless
you
love
pumpkin.
It's
not
creamy
like
normal
cheesecake,
and
the
pecan
pie
itself
is
overpowered,
and
basically,
it
tastes
like
lots
of
nuts
and
lots
of
pumpkin.
I
thought
the
pie
would
be
the
lower
price
due
to
the
size,
but
nooooo.
Because
I
thought
it
might
be
good
with
hot
fudge,
I
ordered
a
side
not
knowing
the
small
container
you
see
is
$2
50!
I've
been
off
work
due
to
an
injury,
so
maybe
these
prices
don't
shock
you,
but
it
shocked
me
to
discover
my
pie
slice
was
$13!
I
was
expecting
$9.50
due
to
the
small
size,
but
due
to
the
fudge,
and
it
being
a
limited
offering,
they
charge
full
price.
The
manager
claims
it
comes
pre-sliced
from
corporate,
which
I
highly
doubt,
so
I
just
paid
it
and
left.
Alas
and
alack,
my
fond
memories
of
the
Cheesecake
Factory
will
have
to
stay
back
home
rather
than
ever
start
new
ones
at
this
location.
And
I
highly
doubt
they
care
because
it's
so
popular
they'll
be
fine,
but
to
me,
I'm
sad.
