Gorgeous place to spend a Saturday afternoon! Cool stone slide and unique playground features for kids and nice, shady spots to sit and take in the atmosphere. It’s on a hill and landscaped so beautifully with interesting little paths weaving all around it. If you’re in Austin, it’s a great spot to visit!

Wow! This park is nice. The landscaping is out right beautiful. The walkway wind back and forth up to different levels with changing views of the park and skyline. Play areas kids and adults are part of the scape. The designers, architects, and gardeners really do shine with the work done here. Maintenance in all areas are super. Bravo and a must see experience.

Beautiful space. I have some nostalgia for the old school Waterloo park I grew up with, but they really did make it way better. There are all sorts of cool events and shows there. The new water facility adds a nice element to the space too.

I just love this place so much! Cool use of natives and adopted natives. Serene setting steps from the Capitol. The creative and modern use of water is amazing.

Pretty cool place. I went there in December when not too many people were present. It was very peaceful. The park itself is well maintained, with lots of plants nicely incorporated throughout.

I stopped by for Rainbow on the creek and it looked beautiful and relaxing. I arrived at 8pm so it was more dark but as I walked around after the show it felt very romantic. I would definitely take a walk and visit either day or night.

First time at this venue to see Melanie Martinez, it was kept very clean and beautiful surroundings. Over priced drinks and food, but that's kinda typical, the drinks didn't have enough ice for 100 degree weather. But staff was friendly and lines went quick. We will definitely come to this venue again.

Finally got the chance to visit this newly renovated park in the heart of downtown Austin. It feels spacious and pleasing to all kinds of visitors. Kiddos will surely enjoy play scape and slide, while me personally I love the stoned pathways and beautiful Texas native landscaping. ( Butterflies seem to adore this area as well ) The Moody Amphitheater looks pretty sleek, can’t wait to actually attend a concert there! Parking is painless at the Capitol visitors parking garage. Definitely worthy a visit.

The newly renovated Waterloo Park is truly a gem. The landscaping was done with all-native plants and trees, the walking paths are easy to navigate and there are two music venues to host both large and small concerts.

Amazing space, cant wait to see live music at the amphitheater this Spring/Summer. Not much food around, but everything else was lovely. This is going to be a hotspot as the city expands out this direction in the next few years.

First visit - Austin Blues Fest. The sound system is fantastic! Clean, easy to maneuver, helpful staff. Great views from anywhere really. Look forward to visiting again. Make sure to snack and such before you go. $$$

Not a bad seat in the house! Just know you're sitting on folding chairs. I didn't realize we were going to an Amphitheater until after I purchase the tickets. What a happy surprise! Probably wouldn't catch me at a concert during the summer since it's purely outdoors. Bathrooms were easy to get to and great drinks were easy to get. The food was a little... waiting 20 minutes to get a pretzel after they ran out of brisket sandwiches.

Parking was easy and the venue itself is really nice! The staff running the entrance were so courteous and the sound was terrific. Really enjoyed the concert I went to! A small then you so it gave the groups the opportunity to really interact with the crowd.

Came here a few days after opening and wow, was I blown away. This park is gorgeous. Wide set and capable of accommodating multiple people at once, Austin really has a gem here! Check it out if you’re in the area, Austin has really stepped up their game here!

Cool new park. Was no one there in a hot weekday evening. Would recommend a stroll through if you’re in the area.

This is a great music venue! The night we went, it was very easy to park in a nearby lot. The timing of the event was perfect with the sun setting and temperatures cooling off. It seemed like all of the seating in the 100s would be good visually and acoustically, not sure about the lawn. I would return to see more shows here for sure!

A fantastic addition to the city and along Waller Creek. Everything from an amphitheater, to a jungle gym, to gardens, and unique walkways weaving in and out of the landscape. Truly impressive.
