$15 Kebabs packed to the brim AND they give you a water gun to fend off the ravenous magpies while you struggle to regain power and control over the situation which was originally just supposed to be a fun dinner with the good people in your life, but somehow turned to a racial war between magpies and humans motivated ONLY by a single resource… food.

This is not what I expect for Turkish Pide, it's a piece of bread with a bit of meat sauce smeard on top and does not taste good. The kebab that was order was meant to be lamb, got beef. Beetroot dip tastes like vinager. Ordered through menulog who delivered it nice and warm (for a change) however, ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with the quality of food and can only put that down to the restaurant!

really great spot for kebabs! clearly the locals know about this as it was continuously busy! to order you go in and grab a wrapper and pen, then tick the boxes/ingredients you want.. hand it over n pay super easy and super efficient! the kebabs are super generous in serving size! and packs in a heap of meat but still giving a good ratio between meats n salad n sauce. one kebab can def feed two! (or feeds one if ur super hungry!) they got a few outdoor tables if you wanna sit n eat but this place is predominantly a takeaway shop

Delicious Turkish food. The best kebab in Canberra, for sure. I recommend.

Food is really good. But be aware of Magpies waiting outside to hunt your food.

The first impression of the place was great, we were greeted with a friendly smile, and greeting. Then the aroma of the delicious food flowed in to our sence of smell. The food was totally delicious, we had ordered a banquet meal set number 4, it was awesome and generous in the serving size. We had so much food it was awesome. If you are looking for quality take out and love middle Eastern food. I highly recommend this place, as you will not be disappointed.

A $21 Lamb and Veggie Pide will feed three big blokes (and a cat) with some left over. Their dough isn't a standard bread but rather more of a sourdough-type, making for an interesting additional taste to what is already a flavourful meal. Please check the picture showing how much you get. I will definitely be going back there again.

The God of all kebab/Turkish shops. The kebabs are stuffed to the brim and the HSPs have the perfect balance of chips and meat. Love to get the pide for dinner - one box can easily feed 2-3 people 😍

The kebabs are just like any other you can find. The beef burger was much better although they take a lot of time to prepare. I literally waited 40 minutes for 2 kebabs and one burger.

Ordered two gozleme for dinner. One (lamb kince) was lovely, the other (spinach and cheese) had undercooked dough which rendered it inedible. Very disappointing for a takeaway we have frequented with success on many occasions.

Tasty, pretty good kebab for Canberra. Beware as the kebabs are piping hot! Also, if you’re eating in be on the lookout for magpies and ibises hunting for food.

Turkish Halal Pide House is a gem! They serve delicious, authentic Turkish food. The portions are generous and the staff is super friendly. The mixed kebab and pides are must-tries! Enjoy your meal! 🥙

Fill in your order when you arrive and guard from the magpies when you leave. Canberra's best Kebab joint. The kebabs are hard to finish due to their generous size but perhaps that's to satisfy the magpie swooping tax.

Best value for money, a staple of my visits to Canberra. It's not really a dine-in establishment, there are 2 tables outside but the place is so popular you're unlikely to get a seat at peak times. The food is always a winner, all of it is good, just make sure you get all the foil out of your kebab, they have a habit of wrapping it in and cooking the foil into the kebab.

Best kebabs in Canberra. Also had the lamb chops one evening and they were pretty amazing! If you haven't been, I highly recommend.

Ok kebabs but we ordered lettuce tomato onion and double tabouli and I reckon there was no tabouli, barely any salad and no tahini sauce either. Wanted to contact the restaurant directly about this but like so many places they don’t list an email so here you go…

I recently dined at Turkish Pide here and was blown away by the experience. The open Pide I ordered was bursting with flavor, incredibly fresh, and served hot. The quality of ingredients and the attention to detail were impressive. The friendly staff and inviting ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend Turkish Pide for a delightful food in Canberra.

We stopped here first lunch. The Turkish rolls are big enough for 2 meals. I had the mixed meat. Delicious! My family all enjoyed it too. This place was super busy. Great service. Crazy magpies.

Fantastic kebabs (quality and serving sizes) since decades and their pides are great too. We ordered a mixed kebab and Karadesli pide (prawns). It is the beat ever kebab and pide. Highly recommended. Regards @fooderarri

Amazingly tasty food, tried all the beef and chicken and mixed options. There are lots of options for kebab rolls, burgers, prides, chips, drinks, sweet treats. Tried many options and everything was very satisfying. Highly recommended 💝

Best pide and kebab! Update: Just realised the same Pide cost $20 in store but $26 for online/pick up. Maybe worth checking the price before placing an online order next time.

I order a small HSP online at 6:30. the estimated "real life waiting time" was 7:21. I could not cancel the order because there is no option for that. I picked around 7:30 and had to wait for few minutes for that. The chips were half cooked and almost cold. For $16 dollars and an hour wait to get a HSP that supposed to be serve with hot chips. That is a disgrace!

We had the pidehouse banquet for two, plus an extra pide. A bit too much tahini in the hummus but everything else was amazing! The shredded lamb was superb!

Came here after living in uk for 3 years. Still as good as ever!! Kebabs are still huge and taste great! Will be coming back on my next visit!

Tasty food with a good price. I and my wife ordered a Halal Special Pide today, very delicious and with a large size. Recommend to my friends without any doubt.☺️

5 stars for food!! This is not the place if you want cloth napkins and table service. It is loud and a real family atmosphere. The staff are lovely and funny if you give them a break this is an incredibly busy place and they do a great job for the amount of people that they serve. We have been going there for 5 years and will continue to go back because the food is amazing and the service great.
