Nice venue has a lot of potential, interior has been fitted out really well. However disappointed by the customer service. Greeter appeared to ignore us when we arrived, too busy looking down at a screen and appeared to know we were standing there. Felt awkward as we were just standing around not knowing if we should wait for a seat as per the signage. Two staff at the bar, one servicing and the other on her phone. So I had to wait for the other person to finish servicing to then order my beer. Not sure why he couldn't prompt his colleague that I was waiting. Service was average. Beers are also average for my liking. Not returning in a hurry. I would still recommend a visit as everyones liking and experience is different.

Bright and airy space, with lots of tables, inside and out. Very helpful waiters to guide your beer choices (lots of tasting paddle options, too). They have a fridge for take away beers. Delicious pizzas on offer. Accessible venue. Easy to walk to from the station, and lots of street parking available. Recommend booking, as it got quite busy.

Spacious new beer hall for a Sunday lunch date with my beer-loving husband. Very friendly greeting from James on arrival. We were looked after by Koufie, very attentive and fun. I tried his 2 x signature cocktails, very unique, creative and delicious. Husband had 2 x beer paddles. Pizzas, calamari and loaded sweet potatoes were on point. Venue new and clean, bathrooms well maintained. LOCATION- near a train station (Huntingdale) so no arguments on who was DD. We shall return!

Visited this place over the weekend with my family and a couple of friends. It's a hidden gem in the back streets of Huntingdale. Great to drop in for some drinks and pizza. Plus it's family friendly which is a huge plus! They have a retired combi on the side of the hall for kids to play in, space to park a pram and baby change table available. Watching the pizzas getting made is also a fun activity for the little ones.

Was here on Sunday afternoon for a catch up and loved it. Really nice light filled ambience, attentive but not over bearing service and drinks and food spot on. Nice thin crust pizza, well flavoured. The Cheese Burger Pizza actually tasted like a cheeseburger - top marks there. 1 thing I would recommend to consider is - be a bit more adventurous with the Pizza's on offer, would love to see more variations like the cheeseburger.

Pizzas were really good here, love that thin crust. Balanced well so you can get that fold into the slice, not too overloaded with toppings. Perfectly balanced as all things should be. Sweet potato fries were crispy, so beautiful. Drinks were nice too, didn't have the beer but had the tropic and was great.

Amazing local brewery with pizza πŸ• Firstly - the beer 🍺 is AMAZING. We started with a couple of tasting paddles. From the light and crisp, easy drinking options to the "you almost need a knife and fork to consume it" fuller bodied options - the on tap menu has it all. My absolute favourites are the "Hopped out Red" and the "Betelgeuse" but it is all down to personal preferences. The good news is that the tasting notes are brilliant and help you choose according to your palate. Then there is the food. A simple menu of woodfired pizza πŸ• πŸ˜‹ The Funghi is simple and sublime. A pizza between two people is plenty, and will leave you room for dessert and more beer. The Nutella and Strawberry Calzone is an experience. Not one to take on alone - best shared. Location is good. About a 300m walk from Huntingdale Station. Atmosphere is a little noisy - but not overwhelming. Booking is easy and ESSENTIAL. It gets busy and tables are turned over. Definitely recommend πŸ‘Œ

Love visiting Kaiju. It's just a fun brewery. The staff are delightful. The calamari was tender and delicious. The pizza was great but I'm not sure it's worth the full price cost. The beers are on point as always. Keep up the good work πŸ™‚

PIZZAS βœ…οΈ BEERS βœ…οΈ GOOD VIBES βœ…οΈ Nothing says good vibes than spending a few hours at a spacious beer hall, enjoying some delicious pizzas, a few bevs or two and enjoying the atmosphere! This place caters for everyone! There are plenty of seating options to cater for afternoon dates to catch ups with family and friends. The woodfire pizza menu has delicious classics and highly recommend getting a paddle! We had an awesome time and it definitely would not be our last visit!

Fantastic brewery with awesome pizzas onsite. Highly recommend coming here with a friends group to share the pizzas and dishes on the menu. Located in Huntingdale industrial area but off the main commerical strip, Kaiju is a hidden gem for both eating and drinking. Offering over 15+ beers on tap, some only available in the Cantina, and a selection to take home. As well. Staff are friendly and able to assist with queries, with the seating comfortable in a large former warehouse now a beer hall. Only thing to note is parking can be challenging with local businesses (gym, car wreckers etc) mean there is not a lot of street parking. All it means is you may need to park around the corner. Or take public transport which you have access too from Wellington/North road, Huntingdale station.

Great ambience with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great range of beers but was not satisfied with the food. Full points to the service though.

This place is busy. Fantastic beers. Craft beer at its best. Uncle Dan's only has 2 in its range. It's worth the trip to try the other beers in the range. Some really heavy but incredibly good beers. πŸ‘

Very kid friendly, has a cute little van for them to play in which was great. The pizza was average and slightly burnt, the cocktail which was meant to be a tropical one was not very sweet. Not sure if inflation had anything to do with the prices, but I found the food to be a little too expensive for what I got and the fact you don’t get table service.

I was really looking forward to trying this place given all the 5 stars reviews but sadly didn’t have a great experience. Found that though there’s table service, no one came to our table. Then when we did go to the bar, customer service wasn’t exactly friendly or attentive. Though the beverages as well as their range is fantastic, can’t say that the food was worth the price.

October 2023 I met one of the owners who was really happy, friendly and helped me have the best time ever! I had a few different beers here to try, and the Oat Milk IPA, I may be wrong with the title, but this was an absolute cracker. There's a pizza oven and plenty of space in this warehouse. See you again. Cheers 🍻

😐 Food tastes great πŸ‘ they sure love their spices and I like the kick of it. Fish and pork tacos were great but chorizo taco wasn't good because of the rubbery texture skin. It was unpleasant to eat. Corn chips were a bit stale and guacamole was bland. Service was okay. We gave the feedback to a sta...
