Parking les Halles

Parking lot

😠 Very very old structure with sharp turns and narrow lanes. You need to have 8 eyes to avoid any scratches. Although in covid times it is utterly filthy with no gels or other common precautions whatsoever. It is in the very city center and the way out can be a nightmare People often mention parking, tight,

The ramps to go between levels are very hard to use as they are very narrow and you can see many cars have scraped along it. We were in a Kia sportage and only just managed it! Nothing bigger would fit.

Very central location in Avignon, not that expensive, but it takes a while to reach coming from outside of town. And the turns inside as well as the parking spots are very tight! Careful! :(

Steep incline, scraped my car, not recommended for low cars.

Cheap parking (only 17.20€ the day) which is far more expensive in the city itself. However the parking is quite narrow and thereby not practical to drive in (especially not with large vehicles).

Don’t park here if your car is a little bit bigger, the way in and the way out is too narrow.

Horrible place. We got in here by mistake following a P sign. Avoid it at all costs. It might be central but you might get out with your car scratched

Convenient. It was incredibly busy, but keep going up and you will find a spot. The elevators are placed so it is easy to get to ‘Lee Halles’

Very tight: would not recommend for big cars.

Omg. Horrible parking garage! Spots were tiny, and the place was badly designed.

Was tight with a Seat Leon hire. Anything bigger would be in trouble. Needs a refresh of markings also. €2 in evening so good price.

We used this carpark on a Thursday in April 2019. This is a terrible carpark; we were planning to park in the Parking des Italiens (just outside the town) but it was full. First the parking spots themselves are extremely tight. Second the turns in the ramps between levels are also extremely tight and it’s clear lots of cars get caught. Third, the displays indicate that places are available when levels are full, so you keep going around levels looking for a free spot. Last, though not a huge deal for a carpark, the carpark is extremely dirty and the lift doesn’t work which just shows how much it is run down. With location, it is right in the city centre, be careful as getting in and out of the city can be a nightmare at certain hours.
