We had one of the worst experience here. We reserved the place and then after arriving we were given a corner table with absolutely no fan and no AC in the hot summer season. We were sweating the entire time while having our dinner. The rest of the tables were empty but the staff simply denied to give us one. While leaving when we gave the feedback, the staff was least bothered. Also, the food is not that good. I have had a much better Couscous with much better service and rather a good ambience. This place is simply overrated. Had there been less than one star, I would have been glad to select that.

Wow! The food was very very good. The lamb was delicate and in combination with the sweet onions, the plumbs and the almonds it tasted absolutely awesome. You get a bowl of couscous to your dishes. Unfortunately you cannot sit outside, but the location is nevertheless beautiful, becuase the tables are in a roofed courtyard in an oriental decorated room. Definite recommendation from my side.

The food was fresh at every point of the meal. The starter of assorted briwattes with goat cheese in one, minced in the other was excellent. The seffe dish as well as the lamb and plum were equally amazing. Such tender lamb with various flavors, savory and sweet. Equal sentiments for the seffe, a chicken and coucous dish with cinnamon over it and a side of broth. The rose wine could use improvement, but they didn't make it.

Very nice restaurant! Excellent! Great location, nice and smiling people and, most importantly, good food for a reasonable price!

omg we are near explosion 💥💥💥 everything is so tasty 😋 ! the waiter pour the mint tea 🍵☕ in a funny way ! the meat was slow stewed w bones . the soup 🍲 under the couscous was genuine ! not like the soup we buy in Monoprix . the napkin was made of silk . the restaurant is not noisy ! it's good for dating , that u don't need to yell . i loved my tajine lamb cooked with plums . but be aware of the large amount of food ... thanks 👍 it made our night 🌉☺️ so romantic 💗🥰🥰🥰

We were lucky we got here early because it filled up quickly. Moroccan food was excellent. We had the artichoke appetizer and the lamb with vegetables and couscous entree. Food was fresh and excellent. Service was outstanding and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I'm so glad we made the effort to visit Le Riad. Month long trip in France from Australia it was nice to experience wonderful, welcoming hospitable service and fantastic food to match. Lovely, attentive waiter... (I wish I asked his name). The melting pot of flavors is definitely what we've been missing. We had the Royal couscous and the Chicken tagine with preserved lemon and olives. The couscous alone would've been plenty for the two of us, but we slowly got through most of our two dishes. We could only manage a lovely mint tea to finish. I wish we had another day in Avignon to try some other dishes like the Kefta. A reason to come back to Avignon! Recommend, recommend, recommend!

We had the Zalouk to start, served with yummy baguette. We shared a lamb and artichoke Tajine which was amazing! The flavours were fantastic, textures with the onions, nuts, meat and artichoke all perfect. Mint tea to finish. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is lovely. It is a cozy place to eat. The food 🥘 is awesome. They are friendly 😄. We only waited about 5 minutes before we got food. Then they served us some good tea 🫖 . Best moroccan restaurant we tried in France!!! Great restaurant!!!!!

Delicious but simple moroccan style cooking. Helpings are huge. Had a couscous and a tagine, both were fantastic.

I love the simplicity, yet classy service and relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious but too much for me. Been here before and would definitely go back.

I ate here in a September evening - it was OK. The dishes were well relatively priced but pretty bland. The service was also OK. The venue was sweltering; I’d gently encourage the staff to use the air conditioning at appropriate intervals. All in all; OK.

Extremely satisfied, nice restaurant and excellent service. Managed to get a table without a reservation but this seems far from guaranteed, as the place fills quickly and I imagine there's no free seating at all on busy nights or during peak tourist season. Had a fantastic terrine d'agneau which I would recommend to anyone. Certainly fair pricing for the quality.

Very authentic place and very authentic food. Should go here to really eat a good Marocan food. The stuff is super friendly and the environment in the restaurant is warm and comfortable.

Friendly owner, authentic food. We had two tajines: chicken with lemon and olives, and lamb with apricots and cinnamon. Both were delicious, and especially the lamb was huge! Definitely a recommendation if you're looking for Moroccan cuisine.
