Terrible service! Five of us arrived and sat at a table with 6 seats around 6 in the afternoon. One of us ordered a Ceylon tea, which appeared on the menu, and the waiter told him that there was no more tea at that time. Two others ordered beers, and the two people in the group didn't want to drink anything. The waiter left with the order and returned two minutes later saying that he was sorry, but there were five of us and he couldn't serve beer for just two. The inconceivable thing is that more than 70% of the tables were empty!

Three of us stopped for lunch. There was a lunch special that was soup or salad, entree, and dessert. I ordered a gazpacho , sausage with fries and salad, and cheese cream dessert. I also tried two different roses. All of the good was delicious, the cheese cream as it was called tasted like yogurt with a raspberry sauce. It was also very good. Our waiter spoke English, and the bathrooms were tidy.

Location: Avignon city center, next to the opera. Staff and service: friendly staff, quick service. Ambiance and setup: very good view Cuisine: good! However they show options on the board outside that doesn’t exist... kind of touristic trap! price: fair prices, a bit pricey

A good place for drinks. Quick service. I stopped there for a beer with a friend. I also ordered a water, which the bartender forgot. I enjoyed my beer though. The place has a charm.

Located in the city center. The restaurant has a great ambiance, good food and friendly staff. I totally recommend it.

After driving for 7 hours we finally got to our destination with two hungry children. We arrived a few minutes before the kitchen opened at 7 pm and they were a bit awkward about where we could sit. The food was very expensive and not very good. The salad wasn't dressed and no vinegar etc was provided. The French onion soup had a very bland broth, not the usual beef stock. Of the 4 of us, none of us enjoyed our meals. The wine was good. I had plugged in my phone to charge and they made me take it out. I thought that was a bit odd. The entire place was empty and they sat the next customer directly at the table right behind us. Also odd. But the worst part was having a cockroach run across the window sill right next to our table. It was 100+ euros wasted and a horrible first impression of the city we had just arrived to.

There's a reason the only good reviews in this place are "local guides". Avoid it if you're visiting Avignon. The service is appalling.

Really bad service and rude for the first time in my life I left the restaurant before ordering food. Don't go there!

Went there as last chance to eat, probably better not eat at all.

€10 minimum card payments meant we had to have another glass of wine to pay 😅 no details as to what wine we were purchasing, just generic area, so no good for trying different wines. Did give snacks (crisps) with our glasses, and was one of the few places open on a Sunday evening in the off season.

This is the rudest restaurant ever. We were rudely chased with hand gestures and rude words out of the restaurant, just because we used the Restrooms before ordering a drink. This was honestly the most ridiculous experience ever.

The worst restaurant ever! When you ask for tap water, they said they only serve bottle water. They don’t even take debit card if it’s under €10 (which is very ridiculous). Service is bad! Don’t even try this place honestly!

This place is the worst place in the square. I was forced to pay Eur10 for a beer because that’s the minimum for card payments. Who carries cash these days? Read the reviews. Try somewhere else.

Worst experience in France after 2 months. It was a heatwave, so we decided to have some drinks there. While ordering we asked for some water and was told by the waiter "no" we asked why and he basically gave no reason, instead he offered us a "shot" of tonic water...firstly it's against the law in France to refuse water, secondly we were keen to relax there and purchase a few drinks and food so the business lost money due to his ignorance.

Beautiful location but terrible food. Everything was flavorless and the calamari was so bad it had to have been frozen. Only good thing was the water
