I came to Avignon for business, and while looking on Google for nice, quiet, outdoor places to eat I decided to try Le Coude à Coude. When I got there the waitress was pleasant and seated me right away outside, like I had asked. She gave me advice on the menu and I ended up ordering an entre, plat, and dessert. The entre was fantastic, composed of a baked savory cake with a delicious creamy sauce and black olive dressing. The main dish was absolutely insane. 8 hour braised pork with the most delicious lentils I've ever had. Both came with these little pickled red and yellow peppers that make your mouth water. The whole meal cost 26.00€, which for fine dining is just not a lot. Not to mention that the waitress was kind and incredibly attentive, she made me feel comfortable and taken care of. It was an absolute delight to eat here. I'm definitely coming back, and there's no doubt in my mind that you should try it out.

We loved our meal here tonight. It is a very special place where the amazing and welcoming manager and his talented staff produce the most wonderful flavours and a great Provencal gastronomic experience. Every course was well thought out and you really feel like you are 'at home' with the chefs. Highlights include the Iberian pork and roasted camembert mains plus chocolate and also profiteroles desserts. Fabulous! Don't hesitate to go there.

What a feast! All three courses were excellent and fresh; great taste and very beautifully arranged. And on top for a very fair price. The service was also great and she even speaks English. (Pretty exceptionally as we've learned in France) We would definitely come here again and highly recommend this place.

What a treasure. 10 of us descended in this pearl, and were treated to a fantastic 3 course menu meal for 28euro + wine. The waiter was delightful and only enhanced the experience. Avoid the main drag and walk a block or two into the old town small streets and enjoy this family owned restaurant.

The friendliest restaurant during our vacation. The owner and the kitchen staff made sure we received a fantastic meal without meat. All dishes had finesse and something special, many different ingredients in a unique combination. Sitting outside in the little street was like being in a classic French movie. Great experience, thank you!

Very nice place to spend a good time. The owner is kind and funny. Also, the 8-hours cooked pork was very soft and tender…

We had an amazing meal at this little gem in Avignon. Flavours were exceptional. This place is a bit cozy as the name suggests, but don't be fooled by its simple appeareance it's one of the best meals we had in France. If you are in Avignon this is a must.

Nice food but small portions. Too many spices spoiling the taste of many of our dishes. They were flexible with gluten free combinations and nice service.

Lovely restaurant in a quiet side street with a very cute, colourful terrace. We were very much attracted by the original, interesting dishes on the menu. The meal even exceeded our expectations! All three courses looked amazing and tasted delicious. The atmosphere was cheerful and the service was very friendly. Beautiful end to our Provence holiday!

This tiny (only 14 seats indoor) restaurant is truly a gem in Avignon center. Just open 8 months at the time we visited. Small menu but changed seasonal according the chef. Not much decor, but service is fast and excellent. Of course, the most important is the food. All plates we ordered were excellent and tasty. 3 courses menu only for 20 Euro.

Terrific! I ate here with my girlfriend (vegetarian). Both the vegetarian and the non-vegetarian food were very good. Super recommended. Very important. The staff is super nice and polite. They didn't try to catch us on the street, rather they pointed us to the menú and let us choose without invading our privacy.

Superb food, the tastes and textures were an amazing combination. This is food to savour and enjoy, but get here early if you want to be one of the fortunate. The only negative.....it is not in the town where I live . How I wish I could eat here regularly, it is a delicate delight of flavoursome food.

This little establishment might have been my favorite meal over a 3 week trip in Europe which included multiple Michelin star restaurants. They have a nice 3-course meal for 27 euro. I started with the panna cotta of farmhouse Saint Nectaire cheese, grilled bacon and endive salad with nuts. Yum. For the main course, I had roasted brie cheese with a slice of Maison Filiere grilled garlic sausage, red currant sauce and potatoes. Double yum. I finished with a delicious profiterole with nougat ice cream, whipped cream and salted butter caramel. If you ever find yourself in Avignon, I can highly recommend Le Coude a Coude.

So happy to have found this restaurant during our one night in Avignon. It is very welcoming, intimate. We loved everything about it, including the great early rock & roll sound track they were playing. It was fun to watch the very hard working young man in the open kitchen. Our meal was great; we each chose the 3 courses. I had the pork butt with veggies and my husband chose the salmon. Each of us really liked our mains as well as the creative starters and the dessert we shared. If we return to Avignon, we will certainly come back to Le Coude a Coude.

My group of 5 dined here during a very busy Saturday. Be sure to get there right at noon. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was incredible. The menu changes daily but they had a vegetarian option for my kids. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Went for dinner mid week, they only have a handful of tables which fill up quickly, so we were sure to get there early. A relatively small menu, but that's all they need, the food is just divine. The service and atmosphere are friendly and welcoming and they go out of their way to make their customers happy. If you're in Avignon you must try this place.

We had dinner there tonight and really liked it! The place is super cozy and you have the kitchen and chef working near you what gives a nice "feels like home" touch! Food was delicious!

We were so impressed by the delicious and high quality food that was served at this little cafe. I was not expecting such a memorable meal, and for under 25 euro each! My one complaint is the placement of the tables along the gutter in the sidewalk is a bit uncomfortable, but not the fault of the restaurant.

I had the three course meal for 25 euro and everything was delicious. The fillet mignon was so tender I could cut it with a butter knife.

Excellent food, great service and value for the money. Actually went to the restaurant based on a suggestion received locally and it was worth it. They have lot of vegetarian options as well.
