Had a three course lunch with friends, excellent food. Ridiculously good price to quality ratio, see for yourself!

Outstanding cuisine! We had their 5 course menu and it was perfect from beginning to end. We decided to dine inside as the terrace was busy and loud. Even though it was hot we were glad with our choice.. we were actually able to enjoy the food without distractions! We were a bit disappointed that they do not offer wine pairing option but their house wine was okay. Big thank you to the chef for creating such a culinary experience for us. We highly recommend!

We had dinner in the outside space, in the little square close to all other restaurants tables. It was nice for a summer night, but consider it’s crowded. We had a 3 courses menu, food options were good. We really loved the food, we had eggplant as starter (curious technique for textures and very tasty), then we had the chicken (very savory and well cooked), and we had the chocolate dessert (spectacular) and the millefeuille (amazing). Overall the experience was really nice and we were lovely surprised by the food. Congratulations!

L’agape was recommended to me by a chef in Avignon so I knew it had to be good. My mouth is still watering thinking about this meal😍 I had the 3 courses (quail leg, beef tenderloin, coconut/pineapple dessert) and each once was truly exceptional. Probably some of the best food I’ve had in Avignon. Definitely worth the visit!

I have never faced such a difficulty and bad manners in making a booking. I have made several phone calls over a period of 10 days and I have written 2 emails. In three or four occasions that the phone was picked up the message was in French “ oh sorry madam we are busy. Call later “ Sure later, but when exactly? I always made the effort to speak French which is much poorer than my English. It was a gesture of respect to the host country. Today I gave up and asked for a table in English, to be told that there is no availability. At least my phone call was answered. Thank You Next . Somewhere I will be treated with respect and politeness.

Food was really good, but service was painfully slow. Two+ hour 3 course fixed meal. We ordered the courses and wine as soon as we sat down. It seemed like others were paced better, but they struggled to be timely with our meal. Again, food was great, very slow.

A wonderful restaurant in the city center of Avignon. We were able to have an outside table in a vibrant open area surrounded by the beautiful historic buildings and churches of Avignon. The service and food were tremendous and the price was very reasonable for a 3 course dinner. A quintessential French summer meal.

Absolutely disappointed , tonight had a dinner and ordered 3 sets from the menu, first was organic eggs, very unusual and delicious , the second was beef chuck with potato, was good.. for the dessert I ordered pear with chocolate as I was recommended. After more than 2 hours we finished our wine, all sets but the desert was not coming.. it was about 11 pm and were very tired, asked the check.. I was offered to take a desert away as I had been included and they brought us a box… On the way back we opened it, as was interested how recommended pear was look like but they gave me biscuits not I had ordered…it is very sad…

The food is outstanding. You should feel comfortable trying something different as the dishes have amazing combinations of flavors. Small plates that are incredibly filling and worth savoring every bite. The wine options of the day are excellent local wines. Cannot go wrong with the food options here.

We had the three course serving and left very happy. The carpaccio, braised pork and coconut dessert were all delightful. The passion fruit cream that came with the desert was incredible.

Last ate here in 2019. It was good then, but today was superb. Took the 3 course menu:scallops, Pintade and cheese/dessert. Such good value for money -fresh ingredients, put together with love and an eye for beauty. Looked and tasted 👌🏻. Well done L’Agape! Will be back and will be recommending.

By far the best experience in the area, an unbelievable price/quality ratio, great staff and a “bible” for the wines :). Kudos!

Walked in for a late night dinner and was seated outside promptly. Servers were extremely nice but we had to flag them down a few times throughout dinner (which I’ve found to be common in France, they let you enjoy your meal). Food was unique and definitely fine dining. The more fine dining I eat, the more I realize the beauty is that the flavors and combinations are experimental, and they don’t always work. The dinner was good but I wasn’t thinking about the food hours or days later, which is my typical indication that the food was incredible. The one dish that stuck with me was this delicious white fish delicately bathed in a broth with a chorizo tomato paste and cooked zucchini. Super flavorful and wished the other dishes tasted as good. With so many options in the city, I probably wouldn’t go back, but with an always changing seasonal menu, maybe other diners will enjoy it more than me.

The plates we ate were delicious. But as i understand in three days Avignon lots of average restaurant. This restaurant is an exeption among the others. But we didn't enjoy the behaviour of the waitreses. They rude and not accommadating.

An absolutely delightful lunch experience, service was fast and it's very affordable for a Michelin restaurant 👍👍👍

Didnt try the food, we waited for 30 minutes with a reservation, and didnt have a single interaction with the service staff. No water or greeting aside from getting the menu. Thats not service on par with the prices. Food and wine looked fine, just didnt get to try it.

High-class restaurant, excellent food and presentation of the dishes. Especially the deserts were outstanding. Top value-for-money. Service very professional and friendly (although not very busy when we were there). The location is very lively, with several other restaurants close-by on a larger market place. Just from the (rather simple) tables outside, you could tend to underestimate the quality of the food.

Food was good, presentation was great, but service slow and not quite what you'd expect from a fancier restaurant (like remembering who ordered what). Paying was inconvenient too with a bigger group as they don't have a till system that allows them to select individual items or simply add up the amounts paid. Nice place to sit outside.

Highly recommend. Such tasty, beautifully presented food at a reasonable price. The asparagus was a highlight, but we liked it all. Service was warm and attentive.

Very good service, the meals are so good! They are full of flavors with artful presentation, I wish they could get a Michelin star in the future

We were a large party with several kids for diner. To our surprise, there was no menu for children, nor could they adapt their adult dishes. They also told us they could not share 3 course menu among them, and that each should order a dish. We ended up getting a 3 year old a 10€ cheese plate, and 7 year old a 27€ duck dish that ended up being half eaten. They might have well just say no kids allowed, it would have saved us the trouble and they would have made more money. Apart from that, food was good and service pleasant, not much to say there.

Delicious and very creative lunch at a very affordable price. I'd come back every day if I could
