My brother and I had a fantastic dinner on Thursday night. What can I say... incredible food and super friendly staff. This place deserves a 10 without any doubt.

Lovely place, very friendly, and well prepared food. If they have the lamb knuckle on the menu du jur, go for it! My wife did and was in seventh heaven.

Had lunch here in our last day in Avignon. Really nice restaurant. The lamb and the beef skewer were yummy and we loved the appetizers as well! Highly recommended👍🏻

This place is on par with many USA based Michelin star restaurants. Food is amazingly flavored and artfully plated. Staff were working super hard and kept the restaurant running smooth. Really a hidden gem to be discovered.

Lovely family restaurant. Good price, good foods with generous portion. Nice service. I had lunch with the rôti camembert for entrée and fish for main course and both dishes were very tasty. Highly recommended for lunch.

For starter we ordered the courgette wrapped crab roll, which was very underseasoned and bland. More thought had gone into the presentation instead of the actual flavour of the dish. Others on the table ordered the Burrata and Prawns which they enjoyed, so could perhaps be just this particular starter. For mains, however, the lamb shank was delicious. Well seasoned and fall off the bone tender. Tomatoes which accompanied it were sweet, yet acidic which cut through the lamb. In terms of service, the feeling we got from the waitresses was a little 'cold' if I'm being honest, but the food was fairly good.

I have worked in hospitality my entire adult life, and certainly know what to look for in a restaurant. I find most establishments to be acceptable, some quite good, others — really great. Restaurant Le 26 is nothing short of special, and gave me that distinguished dining experience that has you buzzing on all the elements days afterwards. Cozy atmosphere, sweet staff, beautiful local wine, and delectable food — French, Provençal, inspired, tasty. All presented and served up in way that denotes the utmost care and quality, with zero pretentiousness. They know what they’re doing; go support their poetry!

Great service in a cozy little place. The penne was a bit overcooked. The lamb is their specialty and I recommend it highly. Very juicy and tasteful. We talked to a very kind woman who spoke 5 or 6 languages.

We dined here two evenings in July during the Film Festival. Even amidst the crowds the service here was impeccable - truly made to feel like a guest at their own dinner table. And what a table it was - we had the fish dishes and enjoyed them both nights. A highlight of our visit to Avignon.

The best souris d'agneau I've ever eaten. Most friendly and beautiful ladies in the service.

We ordered the cuttle fish spaghetti but despite looking Italian, the pasta served was not al dente. I could not even smell the nero ink tho the color said it all. The salmon tartare was so-so. The underneath asparagus sauce was creamy, lack of taste. The boiled green aspargus on-top was ugly in the look and taste horrible. Service was slow. We got the bread (which is the worst I have had in France so far, like an old one) the same time as the main courses. Btw one should ask for a change of pasta the moment one finds it not perfectly cooked? Thats what the waitress told me at the end of the meal…

We went there after checking in our hotel and it was 10:30pm. We were lucky to get seats inside and ordered the lamb shank. It was good as suggested by others on the review. Also tried the pasta - spicy but yummy - the bureaus cheese covered the spiciness a bit. The Camberbet baked cheese was also good.

Great restaurant, if I ever go back to Avignon I'll be back. The place is as welcoming and cosy as the bartender. The food is stunning, we ordered the lamb cooked for 7h and it was incredibly good. The lemon pie and the coulant were great too. 5/5 would come back.

One of the restaurants I always come back. Very good meals, especially lamb! It’s one of the best lambs I’ve ever had. Very pleasant atmosphere and super friendly staff.

Overall really tasty, beautifully presented food, the lamb shank especially. The 3 stars is for the very cold environment from all 3 waitresses. Felt very awkward and like they didn’t want us to be there.

The lamb was really good, but the pasta is not enough for a grown man, still delicous.

We ordered the beef tartare, roasted sea bream, and spaghetti accompanied by a bottle of locally produced wine. The food was fantastic with everything cooked to perfection for our taste at least :) The only reason we give them 4* is the waitress that served us. She didn't seem to know enough about the food or the wine. We had to ask another waitress to help out.

Excellent food and great service. Had 3 courses even though we thought of only getting a main course!

Great meal and large wine menu. We had the asparagus soup, pepper steak and different desserts. Service was great. You could see that a lot of care is put into the preparation of the dishes. Much recommended

Amazing experience at this gorgeous family run restaurant. The food was amazing, we had the lamb knuckle, lamb tagine with prunes and chicken dish...all dishes were beautiful. The service was great, wine was fantastic and it has a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We strolled around the city on Sunday evening and struggled to find place to eat and there it was! At first, we hesitated to go in because there was only one server attending to fifteen tables of customers but we gave it a go! To our surprise, that server was just fantastic, she managed all tables of customers with grace, smile, care! We ordered two set dinners and they were aesthetically presented and tasty! The only minor (very minor) disappointment was the dessert (poached pear with chocolate sauce) - the chocolate unfortunately overwhelmed the supposed crispy light-sweet taste of pear! Highly recommended and just want to give a great applause to the server and thank you so much!
