Good service. Nice views across the Rhone to Avignon. We had margarita pizza and gazpacho for lunch along with Rose wine!

Lovely location, french timing, (not in s hurry). Had whitefish deep fried, gazpachio made from vegetables really nice, Beef stew witg carmargue rice interesting with olives, Ceasers salad had breaded chicken? Tomatoes green red and yellow... Pizza made in wood/gas oven! Good. Tiramasu was lemon based!? Very busy, on monday night, good service.

Delicious food with amazing view.

What a beautiful experience!! First of all our lovely waitress was absolutely amazing!!! Her recommendations for our meals and wine was spot on. She had a great sense of humour and was very patient with us. We travelled in a small group, some came from Lyon et my mum and I from Vienne. I am on holiday from Australia and I was very pleased with the beautiful setting, great service and food. I was also surprised with a birthday song. What a great place, could not fault anything. Thank you to all the staff from the Bercail for being so amazing.. should I be around next time this place will definitely be my first choice.

Best pizza of my life! This was a beautiful restaurant under the shade of a tree and right on the water. It really helped us to cool off from the Avignon heat. We had good service and a wonderful experience. We didn’t have a reservation but we’re seated right away. We took the free water taxi back after lunch. I hope to come back some day!

Very busy but still cosy and service is good and friendly. Excellent view. Pizza's are excellent, the cote de veau was good but not exceptional. Recommended if you are in the neighborhood!

Really nice place to eat in a nice setting next to the river Rhône. Friendly staff and very good food at good prices.

The view and atmosphere on the bench of Rhone river is very pleasant. The Travers de cochon was good, the dos de cabillaud was very bitte due to the slices of lemon.

Despite not being open before Dinner time at 19h… which is not cool considering the views on the river bank 😉 The food is good and the staff very welcoming. Special mention to Julien who took a very good care of us, addressing our special demands in a blink of an eye with a big smile (extra sauce, water bowl for my doggy, space for the baby) 👍🏻👍🏻A place to enjoy again in the future. Many thanks for the good time 👌

Great location! Food can be improved. Unfortunately one member of the staff did not behaved well and he almost distorted a beautiful evening. The situation was saved by a very well mannered manager!! We would like to visit again :-))

THE restaurant in Avignon! A fantastic view of the Pont d'Avignon, cozy atmosphere, very tasty food at fair prices (e.g. 3 courses for 37 euros) and friendly service

We had a very good lunch here. My wife had duck and I had pulpe with chorizo. Both were excellent. The view next to the Rhone was unbeatable. A marvelous view of Le Pont d'Avignon.

Sunday lunch -food was very good but setting on the banks of Rhone with views of Avignon was the real positive

The food was ok, nothing too impressive, and it wasn't cheap, feel like we just paid for the nice view, would recommend ordering an entree if you're having the steak as the steak has a lot of fat and not so much meat.

We had a dinner at this mass-factory restaurant. We started with two starters. Both were tasteless, simply made, and boring. Then we ordered veal. A pile of fat hidden under a layer of something was served. We called the waiter and complained to him. This young guy had the audacity to point at a molecule of meat that was hiding somewhere in the fat and claimed that this is meat. Of all the restaurants we visited in Provence, this one was the most expensive and tasteless. People are lured by the location. But this is misleading.

Nicely located at the river bank of Rhône and overseeing the Old town’s stone walls. A cosy indoor area is available as well as a very nice outside open air terrace. This restaurant is long established and the menu offers delicious traditional French cuisine. The personnel are young and friendly. A great place for a lovely evening.

The location and views are amazing. Food is good, prices a bit expensive for the quality, but you pretty much pay for the location. Only disappointment was all our main dishes arrived luke warm.

I’ll start off with saying that the location is top tier with a beautiful view on Avignon. The food was mediocre. I tried the steak, pizza and fish. The service left a bad taste in the mouth, some waiters seemed unhappy and our main waiter was just so harsh. We also felt rushed into leaving the place.

Reservation for 1330h arrived 4 mins early. Woman serving us made us feel very unwelcome when we were told at 1335h that it’s going to be tight as the kitchen is closing! Very sloppy attitude from someone who was clearly only thinking about going home! Shame as the food was quite good and the view is lovely. Wouldn’t rush back as there are plenty of other places to eat where you would feel very welcome
