Lovely bistrot with great food and friendly service.

Fantastic food, great service and a truly French experience. My best meal experience in Avignon... my favourite meal here f my entire trip. Special recognition for Amaury who recommended the wines and deserts, she was a joy to work with as I do not speak French, charming, professional and attentive...

Lovely place.. super yummy and great service... the desert (crème brûlée ) is a little bit too sugary

The food was incredible, the ambiance was great, and the service was superb.The stuff - very friendly! Frog’s legs - the best , really, over the regione. The veal liver with red vine shallot sause - perfect! Good wine, nice location, friendly gests - enjoy! Higly recommended!

It is a authentic french resstaurant with a remarkable service and chef. We enjoyed the starters main course and the dessert. All in all it was an amazing visit kept as a day in my live.

We had the best meal of our trip in Avignon here. Extremely friendly staff, and delicious food. The waiter spoke English, and even provided an English menu when he saw us struggling with our French. Highly recommended!!

We have a dinner in this bistrot. Very good food - hot camamber and bread super -, lovely but small place and pleasant waiter. Recomended!!!

Seriously the best fries I've ever had anywhere.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere and really friendly (and English-speaking) service. Had to wait an hour even on a Thursday in May so I imagine this could be hard to get into at peak times as they only have about 8 tables. Really recommend!

Excellent place, truly La Cuisine des Copains. Made to feel at home, got a great spot outside. Ate really delicious traditional French food. Great wine recommendation also. We tried the frog's legs, and the whole troutfish of the day. At the heart of Avignon, but around the back which gives you fewer tourist hordes and more normal street feel.

The place was very appealing in terms of look and location. Contrary to the good online reviews, we were disappointed with the food. It was served to us surprisingly quickly. The meat was barely lukewarm and instead of the "medium" we had ordered, it was handed to us bloody. Pleasure is something different. A complaint was not possible, however, since the waiter no longer paid any attention to us. Instead she put her fingers in her mouth several times in front of the guests. On the positive side, however, is that the salad and fries that were served tasted delicious.

Place is very typical french, it has a very good atmosphere. Prices are fair. Stuff is nice, one guy was a little grumpy. Food was good. Fries very oily and i don’t like very sweet sauces on a main course. Starter and dessert was excellent.

The only nice things we were able to order from there was the wine and the eggplant cake. The meat was stale, and there was no difference between the meat we asked to be cooked well done and the meat we asked to be cooked medium. Both burned outside. Below average food.

A lovely restaurant the food is a top quality and the service is amazing. I really recommend the tiramisu for dessert😋

What a fun surprise. We got the last table. Had frog legs and sole and pork cheeks and then tiramisu. We were so impressed. Highly recommended

Located in a picteresque place of the old town. It has a few french cuisine delicious dishes.

Stumbled across this restaurant walking around Avignon and were lucky to get a reservation for dinner that evening. The food was fantastic, wine delicious, service excellent and prices very reasonable. Lovely atmosphere sat outside. Highly recommend!

We had the best experience at this place. The people are the best we met in Avignon. The food was amazing as well. The combination of both makes this a place you must go to. It’s not in the main plaza so the location is ideal!
