Warning! We parked there during lunchtime. On return, a window of our (small Peugeot rental car) was smashed and the vehicle was opened by thieves. Other cars had broken windows too. The attendant in the visitor center was not too surprised - seems to happen all the time

Our hire car was broken in to. All of our baggage was stolen. The police said car theft from this carpark is also common.

We just had our car broken into and all our luggage stolen. Do not use this car park if you plan to leave anything valuable your car.

Perfect alternative to visit Avignon by car and not spend a penny on parking. There is a shuttle bus every 8 minutes and it takes 2 or 3 minutes to get to the city (just cross a bridge). The last bus leaves at 8:10 p.m., although the parking lot does not close and you could walk...about 10 minutes walk

The best and quickest way to get into avignon. Very well organised.

This isn’t the actual location for the free parking lot (it’s just down the road), but that location is free and super convenient when visiting Avignon.

Very well designed parking lot, easy to find. There are shuttle buses in the parking lot. I don't know if they are free or paid. The car park is located 1/4 hour from the Palais des Papes.

Which parking lot are we talking about!!? Italians, Piot Island, or almond trees? Looking at everyone's photos a priori! I rarely use these car parks, the extra-mural ones attached to the ramparts are always free almost everywhere. But in fact, if a tourist outside 30-84-13, moreover if foreign plates, the Italians are best avoided. The almond trees don't know, Piot Island is more secure. Excluding almond trees, the other 2 have regular and frequent free shuttles for intra. On foot it's quick otherwise. The almond trees, city bus or tram not far away at 1€40 a ticket, simply. A few rare St places still free inside (15~), you have to find them! ;)
